Fantastic experience: Very glad I stopped in today at the Meyerland location. Monica G. gave me a wonderful tour of the club, and was extremely encouraging in support of me getting healthy. The facility was clean, had state of the art equipment, and quality fitness specialists that are available to provide a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I have loved the Texans fit gym from the beginning. The gym is always very nice and clean and one of the things I love is all of the nice equipment they have. All the staff is really sweet and friendly but what I love even more is my trainer Anissa. She’s such an amazing and real person. She will hold you accountable and give you a good laugh every time you see her. When I first started working out I had no idea what I was doing as many would say. Having Anissa in particular made getting to know the gym and equipment that much smoother and easier and helped me get results quicker than I ever anticipated. In just two weeks I was able to lose 2.5lbs of fat and I had already gained a bunch of muscle. I’m now on week 5 and I feel better than I’ve ever felt. My experience with her has been exceptional. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. One of the many great things about Anissa is the fact that she’s so knowledgeable about everything from gym equipment, to nutrition and powerlifting if that’s something you want to get into. I can’t even begin to describe how much I’ve already learned. So if you’re ever at the Texans Fit in Meyerland you should definitely consider training with her, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym with amenities: lap pool, hot tub, wet sauna, dry sauna, indoor turf, kids area, recovery room & more. Also, gym is keep very clean and strength/cardio equipment is organized by body functions. Membership is a little pricy w/limited locations but if you live close give this location a try.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Always clean and has lots of benches and machines. It does get busy during peak hours (4-7p) but that’s most gyms. Overall would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: The facility is one of the best I have had a membership at. It’s always clean, the towels are always fresh and clean and the gym flows very well the set up makes since and even when it’s rush hour there’s enough equipment and space for you to still feel like you can work out. Nothing is ever out of order like at 24 hour fitness.

Fantastic experience: Very clean gym. I particularly love their recovery facility. For a monthly fee you can use their cryo chambers, compression pants, hydrobeds... typically these things are hundreds if bucks a session... but with member ship you can go everyday if you want. This makes it completely worth it. Let's go texans!

Fantastic experience: Music, music, MUSIC! Tonight (7/18) was the best music by far! In the year and how ever many months that this gym has been open, tonight's music was the absolute best! Mekhi and Dakota killed it tonight! Dreams and Nightmares, A Milli, and more and more hits! This night, my AirPods died, so I thought I had to listen to the regular commercial gym music but no! This music was great! I was able to pump out my workouts and actually workout! I don't even need to bring my AirPods if we keep this type of music. I saw people jamming too! People were dancing, people were pumping out reps, and people were bumping their heads! For the first time, it actually felt like a gym and not a fitness center found at apartments. The atmosphere was great! This was a great late night workout. If this continues, I will definitely start to refer more and more people to this gym! Great job Mekhi and Dakota! You two killed it tonight and we need more of this!

The people that work out here also follow proper gym etiquette. Great atmosphere. My 15 year old daughter loves it here as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Texans Fit since August 2021 and have had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this gym as it is always spotless and the equipment is in excellent condition and functioning properly. At the start of my health journey, I was extremely overweight and the thought of going to a gym was intimidating. However, the staff at Texans Fit made me feel so welcome and supported. Even the other members are friendly and don't make me feel like I'm out of place. I'm so thankful to the staff, as I'm sure I would have given up by now without them. The trainers are incredible too. I'm currently training with Robe and he is pushing me to reach my goals in the best way possible. I have already lost 5% of my weight and gained muscle. He has a great sense of humour and I actually find myself laughing while I'm working out. I would encourage anyone to give Texans Fit a try. Speak to the staff, use the different equipment and book a 3-pack of sessions to get a feel for the gym. You will get out of it what you put in and it has been worth every penny and every drop of sweat for me.

Fantastic experience: Good clean gym, if I could suggest an improvement it would be for the staff to keep the music at a normal sound level. 98% of the patrons wear headphones/buds anyways bc everyone has their own flavor of music, podcast, news, etc. Let people enjoy the workout without having to blast their own headsets to overcome the sound being piped in gen pop.

Fantastic experience: Texans Fit is a new gym in the Meyerland area that has replaced 24hr Fitness. The Big difference is that all the equipment is new and well maintained. They have plenty of free weights, every imaginable cardio machine and a large separate area for boxing, speed and Olympic training. Even more important, you don’t see any trash ANYWHERE, and they have towel service. The members are cool and most importantly, the staff is terrific specifically, Evelyn in Sales, who is very personable, professional and accommodating, as is the front desk crew of Patsy, Isaiah and Franklin, who are always welcoming and friendly. One issue, you may pay attention to, to avoid confusion, is when your annual fee comes out the second month. It’s all legit. You just need to remember what is what. After that, it’s all gravy. Check it out in 2022, just not when I’m there, so I can get on my machines when I want.

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is really nice! All of the equipment is new, the lighting inside highlights your gym gainz (lol), and they have other killer amenities you should definitely take advantage of! I've visited this gym a couple times as a guest before I committed to become a member because I live further out and have a couple other gym memberships (irrelevant, I know). To be completely honest, the HEB and Target being right across the street really sealed the deal for me to sign up. I brought my friend who lives on the opposite end of Houston from me in today to workout and Jason gave her a tour of the gym. JASON WAS ACTUALLY AMAZING?!?!! He was kind & personable. Obviously he wanted her to sign up and be a member, but he wasn't over the top pushy or rude about it. I've been here numerous times before as a guest and no one ever showed me there was a Recovery Center... Even as a member, today was the first time I went inside the room!! Mind. Blown. As a Dallas native, I'm actually very excited to workout here and can't wait to check out the Cowboys Fit gyms when I'm back at home.

Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I have ever joined. I feel welcomed every time I go in. When I need help, I can ask the staff questions. The gym is clean and the machines are rarely broken due to being new. The steam and sauna rooms are amazing. I see improvements still being made to the gym like adding additional equipment. Brandon "Robe" is an amazing personal trainer who has helping me reach my goals. He pushes you to be your best self. The front desk staff is young but this has rarely been an issue. There is "annual enhancement fee" to cover in-club improvements and COVID-19 cleaning procedures that was charged 3 months after joining the gym. I feel like this charge was not clearly stated and transparency is needed. A reminder email would be appreciated for this fee.

Fantastic experience: The state-of-the-art equipment is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak! In their recovery area they’ve got cryotherapy along with a multitude of other cutting edge tech devices to help you massage, replenish & recharge after a killer workout in the massive training facility with multiple of every weight machine, cardio equipment you could ever need. My personal fave is the gigantic combine area in the back and the spin cycle studio. Highly recommend you book a tour with the amazing Evelyn and get your exclusive introductory membership rate locked in so you can start training like a Texan!

Fantastic experience: Went here on day pass since I'm not a member. Nice facilities, new equipment and locker room is kept very clean. Rates are pretty comparable to other gyms in town...I'm told the Texan Cheerleaders practice here on occasion which is a great marketing ploy for the gym.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE Texans Fit! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. They have been incredibly helpful in answering any questions and also helping me get scheduled and set up in the recovery room (amazing! Cryotherapy, hydro massage, and normatec compressive sleeves just to name a few!). I really love the layout of this gym. They have a whole turf area with tons of equipment options for functional training. I also love the Texans Fit machines. Many of the machines move with you during exercises which was a surprise at first but I absolutely love it. Thank you Texans Fit!

All new equipment, very spacious, and amazing recovery room!! Staff is very polite and courteous and always willing to answer any questions. Definitely recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I started at Texans Fit after being at La Fitness in Greenway since I'm not in that area as much anymore, so here's my initial feedback after going for a week or so. The gym has taken over from what was 24 Hour Fitness and has revamped the entire area inside. The weight machines are all clean, new, and function correctly. Same with the cardio machines: treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, etc. No waiting for anything at this point. Plenty of open room, and while the gym had plenty people working out, it didn't feel packed. Parking lot is spacious and the Meyerland HEB across the street has plenty overflow parking so you'll never have to hunt for a spot unless you want to wait for the one at the front ... and then would I wonder why you're at the gym but don't want to walk a few extra feet. They have a good free weight area, lots of duplicate items so you're not stuck waiting one some dude that's taken 4 different sets of dumbbells (you know who that guy is....). There's enough stations, benches and weights available so any workout you're planning on, you can get right to it. These machines are very high quality, nothing about to fall apart or cinchy lookin'. There is a huge range of weights overall, if you can squat 500 lbs, or curl 150 lbs, there are weights that can handle it. For real, those dumbbells are massive... There was a good selection of machines in addition to plenty of free weights. The machines all had clear instructions in case you were confused on how to use them or what muscle groups were targeted by the specific exercise. Unless the volumes of use went up 1000% you should have no issue getting to use whatever you want to. There were a couple of different brands but the layout of the machines weren't set up like some gyms where the have Shoulders grouped, then Chest, then Leg, etc. They have a combine area, looks pretty cool. They have a class similar to Orange Theory or other fitness boutiques that tracks you via HRM and displays the numbers on a board (using their hardware, not your own). Cool if you're into that and probably allows for some competitive challenges in the future. The treadmills can sync with Apple Watch and Samsung Watches for feedback and tracking. The spin bikes they use have power meters, something you usually don't see in a regular gym; that's more commonly used in cycling specific gyms. They also have an app allowing you to tap into the audio playing on the various TVs; sports on all of those. So a nice touch there on various digital integration The swimming pool is not quite open at this time, but it's your standard lap pool. Was filled and looked fine. The lockers rooms are clean, but they did not gut and revamp them like they did the rest of the gym. Still, they are clean and well maintained. Standard fare there, nothing fancy. They have classes, but since they gym is just getting started, they are low in volume and attendance, maybe 20 people in the evening class. I expect that to increase once people start coming more frequently. Spouse enjoyed the ones she did already though. I know many people are concerned about cleanliness, but there was lots of disposable wipes available and staff were cleaning as they went. The 'time to lean, time to clean' motto was in effect as I saw folks wiping down equipment, changing out wipes and trashcans around the floor and reception area. You are paying a bit of a premium for the Texans name, that is for sure, but this gym works for me. I usually go to the gym 3 or 4 days a week so I don't mind a good quality environment. I'm not a gym rat and maybe don't have the most detailed review here, but I think that covers most of it.
