Fantastic experience: I love this gym. This is not my home gym but I like coming here a lot. Everyone is very nice and helpful if you need any help with your account or whatever you need ask for Jason! He’s very helpful!!! I definitely like coming here in the mornings. I usually go to the one by Allen parkway late at night bc it’s 24/7 but if you need to come here I really do recommend it.

Positive experience: Nothing overly great nor overly bad, so middle of the road with 3 stars is great. Yea, parking sucks at the lot, but across the street is the HEB parking GARAGE you can use for free ‍♂️ and yea, it’s packed, but the options are numerous and you just have to learn the timing. This location is renovating and should be done by January, so I’m looking forward to the new entry features. Equipment is maintained well, staff are friendly (so far), and the pricing is fairly spot on for what you get. It’s not a “luxury” gym by any means, the amenities for the price drives high volume (hence the parking and fullness), so don’t think you’re the only one who found a good deal. Pool is adequately sized, depending on the time you go. I wish the steam room and sauna were not coed, both were full and I felt gross being so close to other people in that sweaty setting. I really appreciate that the showers have actual frosted doors, and not just curtains, and the lockers are plentiful. I don’t love that you have to pay $10 a month for towels, and think they should include it in the upper echelon membership while charging for the others. Doesn’t make sense otherwise and just feels like a money grab. The crowds are mainly younger people, from high school to what seems like late-20’s, so prepare for meatheads and gen z. Ultimately, we tried to find a middle ground between lifetime and someone like LA, and found EoS did NOT meet our expectations. The search continues.

Fantastic experience: Myra and Daniel were very helpful. Decent location. Not my favorite aesthetically but ok for what it is. Parking can get full during peak hours and I’ve seen people park at the heb. I went around 6 and every machine was filled. Rebuilding their front desk and recovery room so some space is off limits. I love the stem/sauna that they offer and the restrooms are clean. I wish they were 24 hours or open at least to 11 every day but it’s okay so far. Hopefully they don’t increase their pricing like the Allen location but it’s alright for now. The people are nice and staff are friendly/helpful. Thank you!

Positive experience: It is an ok gym. It can be get a little busy. Sometimes you have to wait on equipment which can make it difficult to follow a specific exercise routine. The close early on the weekend which is frustrating for someone who works Saturdays. and Sundays.

Negative experience: I just got my membership a few days ago and I already want to cancel. They did away with the childcare. Also, they close way too early. It is Friday and they close at 8 PM. Now I have to drive 25 minutes to their other location that’s open 24 hours.

Positive experience: Staff is always welcoming, membership is very affordable. Highly recommend coach Rene, my husband has been training with him for a while and am absolutely delighted. But the gym is always very busy, wish they had better machines or more machine choices other than hoist.

Negative experience: Poor management was told to come in to talk to a manager only to be turned away.The staff tried to help but Jason told them he couldn’t speak to me because he was in a meeting, however I went back in and witnessed him telling a staff member how he didn’t care and was not going to help me. Gym is over crowded, management is not helpful. Would much rather be at any other gym. Was only there a week got my membership, went in for two days and they refused to help me. Even though I got told something completely different over the phone.

Negative experience: I've been a member since it was Texans gym. I've seen the drastic changes EOS has brought about this location. 1. Over crowding.. being able to bring a guest for free has ruined a already small sized gym. Mornings may be fine but afternoons are insane! It might as well be Bellaire Highschools personal gym. It gets so crowded you cant even work out let alone the teenagers taking over equipment hanging out more than getting physically fit. 2. There is no where to park ever since Chick-fil-A has been getting remodeled, also too HEB has their security getting on to gym members about how close you park. So you have to park and walk even further now. 3. The closing of the kids club.. I'm an afternoon member. Not being able to bring my kids automatically makes it to where I have no choice but to cancel.. I guess EOS prefers two members for the price of one instead of a member paying for 3 memberships? In all honesty I would have rather they kept it the way Texans ran it. Maybe it's for the best.. I'll be paying less money at Fitness Connection with the same benefits with less crowding

Negative experience: I’m updating my initial review for this location. I’ve noticed parting can be difficult and gym is always crowded. I also got mix feelings towards sales team, I was told I could go to any of their locations with their $30 monthly membership, and three days later I’m being told something different when I went to their gym in Allen Pkwy. It looks like they were not honest up front.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to EōS gyms since 2017 so I’ve frequented quite a few locations, and I have to say this one has the friendliest staff. They always greet you with a smile as soon as you walk in. Jason, the manager, is always positive and upbeat whenever I see him. It can get a little packed during peak time but outside of that it is usually easy to move around unlike other locations. It’s not the most updated as far as aesthetic in comparison but they have everything you need to get the job done.

Fantastic experience: During my workout I overexerted myself and found it hard to breathe and stay awake. This condition deteroriated further over a 10 minute period. I alerted the employee John to my situation who took it very seriously and had Ashley to me in under a minute. The staff were very professional, gave me everything I asked for, and monitored me further. I felt better about 10-15 minutes later. That was a very scary situation to personally be in and I felt that John and Ashley took the situation very seriously and worked quickly to make me feel safe. Thank you eos team

Negative experience: I’ve been a member here for a year and a half. It’s a good gym with all the equipment you need and the staff is friendly BUT it has gotten so overcrowded that you always have to wait for the equipment and it can make your workout take a lot longer which is a problem with the limited child care they offer. This is another thing that has become a MAJOR problem. It’s so overcrowded that we’re now being turned away saying they are at capacity several times a week so we can’t even work out now. What’s the point of the membership if we can’t use it? We even pay for the child care that we now can’t use because they’ve signed up so many people without any regards to their current members. I’m begging you to not sign up here so it won’t continue to get even more overcrowded. EŌS clearly won’t ever turn people away even though they see how crowded it’s gotten. They only care about the money. I’d even pay more to have longer childcare hours and to hire more people for it so we can at least utilize and get some kind of workout in. I’ve seen so many other reviews about the overcrowding maybe it’s time EŌS does something about it. Don’t even get me started on the parking!!!!

Positive experience: Went to the meyerland location, for the amount of people in this gym there was not enough equipment. 1 smith machine and 1 some Sort of convertible squat rack! 1 it’s hilarious . Mostly free weights and cardio. I should have visited the gym prior to signing up! Sad to say but fitness connection have more equipment. I might have to pay for a more expensive gym To get truly what I need

Fantastic experience: Sherman is pretty cool, he works in the morning at the front desk. Does a great job at making sure everything is restocked. Like the paper towels and spray bottles. I hate when he isn’t there, yesterday all the bottles were empty. Great worker and has very positive attitude! Some days I come in drained, and his positively lifts me up! This guy doesn’t get enough credit!

Negative experience: Another day I tried to do my morning workout at opening time and the Meyerland location was not open. It is suppose to open at 4 and it is now 4:44 and it is still not open.

Negative experience: Overall is a good gym. It’s packed. I went at 4am one time and it was closed. There were a lot of people waiting in the parking garage for someone to open it. They didn’t open it until 5am which is very inconvenient because some people only have time to work out early in the morning. This is why so many people choose 24hour fitness

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for a few months now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a great workout. But what really sets this gym apart is the staff, especially Ashley and Alex. Ashley is an incredible manager who always takes care of me. Her positive attitude and personalized approach have really helped me stay motivated and reach my fitness goals. Alex, on the other hand, is always so helpful with any questions I have about the equipment or workout plans. His knowledge and willingness to assist make it easy for me to feel confident in my routine. Plus, he’s always got a friendly smile, which creates such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a gym where the staff truly cares about your progress and well-being, this is the place to be!

Negative experience: Ever since I got a membership here, it's been a complete nightmare. I specifically requested to put my membership on hold before leaving the city for a few months. I come back, try to use the facility, and suddenly I’m told I have an outstanding balance, which makes no sense. Turns out, they never froze my account. I contacted HR, and on the 19th, I get an email from the manager, Jason, apologizing for the confusion and saying he’s removed the balance from my account. He tells me to call him later in the week to get reinstated. I’ve called numerous times since the 19th, and every single time, I’m told he’s either busy or not there. I am absolutely fed up. This has been exhausting and incredibly unprofessional. Never dealing with this place again.

Negative experience: gym was very nice, but the staff could have been a little more helpful it was my first day and I had to show my own self around and I still don't know what all the gym have to offer me I feel lost it looks like it has some great things in there and classes but I'm just not sure because was not informed on anything.

Negative experience: Spare yourself from getting here. The gym is nice, but they cannot provide you with a simple explanation for the payments that you make month to month. They charged me late fee payment, although it is month to month payment. The late fee payment is almost 90% from the monthly payment. When I asked to talk with a manager, it seems that he is a ghost. You cannot reach him as he is always busy. I started to look for a new gym. I don't like business that plays with my money.

Negative experience: Signed up for the gym and was interested in the CrossFit classes but didn’t intend to sign up. Was told it was only $29 per month all access, but I see extra charges on my account. I inquired at the front desk and was told that was a one time charge so I didn’t worry about it, now looking back I see extra charges each month. Tried to talk to the front desk but they are clueless, and there isn’t anyone w any authority there. SMH…

Negative experience: I want to start by saying staff is friendly, gym is clean. I’ve been a member 2 months, it seemed like a better option for me than my last gym. I was wrong. The place is always packed, if you hate waiting to use equipment this is not the gym for you the parking lot free is always full so you have to wait on a spot to park. This please is constantly full most of the time all you do is wait. My workouts used to take about an hour, takes almost 2 hours after switching to this gym. Thanks to all the extra waiting. 90% of the clients in this gym are teenager they like to take over equipment, not use it but won’t let anyone else use it either. The place is full of half naked teen age girls, no adult male wants to be around that. Last but not least this gym for whatever reason is closed pretty much 1 day a week every week for some reason . There’s always an excuse. At this point I’m sorry I left my last gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of various gyms across the Houston area and for the price you are paying, it is very convenient. They have the equipment essentials such as 8 squat racks that all share a deadlift platform, 3 flat barbell bench presses, 2 barbell incline bench presses, a Plate Loaded Hip Thrust Machine, an array of cardio machines and many more strength training machines. Of course, like every other gym, traffic is high during the 5PM rush. But as long as you plan your workout accordingly, you will be set and can maneuver through your workout with minimal hiccups. Lastly, the staff is helpful with concerns or questions you may have, especially the manager, Ashley. She is absolutely attentive and genuine. Negative experience: Ever since the hurricane, I have noticed that the EOS in Meyerland cleanliness and staff especially the front desk and some trainers have deteriorated. The gym is always packed with teenagers after 5 PM during the week to the point that you cannot get a machine or use a weight bench the gym has also started having functional classes in the back of the gym taking much needed space and benches from gym goers not in the classes. The restrooms have been dirty and many times without toilet paper or paper towels. Currently myself and nine of my friends that go there are switching to another gym that has 24 hours access, if you wanna keep getting more members at least you should fix your opening hours daily and Friday Saturday and Sunday in specific!

Negative experience: I would give it less stars if I could. The front desk staff is juvenile. You could walk in and never scan your membership...which is actually what I did on my first visit after waiting 10 mins to be acknowledged at the desk full of staff. Cancelling is purposefully hard. Cant do it on the app or by phone. Have to do it in person with helpful front desk staff.

Negative experience: I recently tried to transfer my membership to align with my insurance's plan but was informed that I needed to cancel my current membership and create a new one. When I attempted to cancel online, the system was experiencing difficulties, so I went in person, only to be told that cancellations couldn't be processed there. Despite this, a staff member offered to handle the cancellation for me and promised to call me once it was completed. A week passed without any notification, and it was already a new month. I called to follow up and was again instructed to cancel online. This time, it worked. Last week, I was assured that since I canceled on July 29th, I would not be charged for August 31st, only for July 31st, which I accepted. However, today, August 4th, I was told that because my cancellation wasn't processed in time, I would still be charged for August 31st, and management could not waive the fees. I explained the situation and emphasized that the issue stemmed from their end, as I followed all the necessary steps. Nonetheless, management refused to accommodate the mistake. I find this experience extremely unprofessional, as I am being unfairly charged despite adhering to the process. The staff misled me, and now I am facing the consequences of their error. Please be warned, EOS Fitness only cares about money and will lie to you in order to get it.

Negative experience: This location of EoS does not allow for a good gym experience, and several issues persist. 1. Parking. Be ready to park at HEB. 2. Overcrowded. This is what happens when you cut gym memberships to $10 a month. Be ready to spend 30-50% of your workout waiting for the equipment or station you actually want to use. If you do happen to get what you need, be ready for someone to breathe down your neck until you finish. 3. Men’s bathroom - nasty. 4. This gym is the Mecca if you wish to have zero personal space. This goes anywhere from people who want to be influencers with numerous tripods set up, to people who literally invade your space or argue when you don’t wish to give up your station/ask if anyone is using that station (has happened with trainers too). And the finale - the contract. Be ready to sign your contract with someone who knows legal diction. If you wish to cancel, you will still have to pay an EXTRA month of fees, including supplemental fees such as an annual/maintenance fee. No business who actually cares about their customers will scam you into such matter; and no, it isn’t for gym “maintenance and upkeep,” it’s to literally scam you. EoS says they plan to open over 250 gyms by 2030 and reportedly eyeing at least $100 million in private funding to support that goal, so they’re not a company in financial turmoil..Also hint: search the internet for horror stories regarding cancellation of EoS memberships. All in all, bad gym. The equipment is nice as are most of the staff, which is unfortunate - generally good equipment if you are able to use it, but that doesn’t outweigh the numerous flaws with EoS. Hopefully you make an informed decision.

Negative experience: I went to the meyerland location on July 30th 2024 approximately at 8:45pm.I had received texts, to come in. I furthermore called them and was told to still on for the promotional trail. Upon arrival I spoked with African American young person, I give him my name which the Hispanic young person,enter the information. I was told by the African American young person, that invitation expired. His demeanor was so rude and arrogant. He was not going to entertain, any conversation from me.I tried to share the text I received from them on July 30th still asking me to drop by. Being that, I traveled there on Metrolift ,I then ask to use the bathroom, he responded emphatically no!! In my entire 75years of life on planet earth, never have I received such blatant respect. As I left ,he shouted, have a bless day ,sarcastically. He stated that he was the assistant manager. As I travel throughout the USA and internationally, no experience can match this one.After using the bathroom at H E. B ,I went back to EOS to address this misconduct. The employees persons at reception area seem to take sides with this young person. Fema called me while I was still there, I told the representative about my experience, and he kindly allowed me to vent .I'm grateful for all the wonderful people at FEMA

Negative experience: Very Unprofessional… :( These past few days I have been going to the EOS location downtown due to this location being closed, paying $10.45 for parking is crazy tbh just to go to the gym due to your daily routine. It is very unacceptable that I have to drive after work and see a closed down gym and just a sign saying they are closed. I did not receive an email, message, or any updates on the app. I am very disappointed. Not to mention that this gym is super packed and a lot of people have access to everything, I pay $30 to have the necessities that I need but NOOOO people take advantage of that. I am canceling my membership, and switching to another gym. I could be paying 20 dollars to go to every gym and have the same thing and very open parking area with a not so packed gym. SOOO LONG AND GOODBYE ‍♀️‍➡️

Negative experience: I’ve had my membership for a week. While I do like specific amenities like the sauna and steam room. I will say the very odd hours such as closing at 8pm on Fridays and 7pm on the weekends is extremely inconvenient. Especially when I have a specific set schedule and can only go work out at certain times of the day. There is a noticeable lack of communication as well. Last night (7/25) when I came to workout the gym was closed with just a sign on the door saying it would be open back up in a couple hours. However this was at 9pm. This could have been sent as an email to members so people would not waste their gas driving over to the gym only to find out when they get there that the gym is closed. Again tonight (7/26) the gym was closed no specific reason given due to it being the same exact sign, no communication given to members that the gym was closed, and no timeline to when it would possibly be open again which is absolutely unacceptable. I shouldn’t be forced to drive an additional 30 minutes completely out of the way to another location after I already spent 10 minutes driving to this one for a total of 40 minutes wasted. Every time I’ve gone the gym is always heavily packed with people especially high school kids who are on their phones posing and posing. Especially in the locker room which is an invasion of privacy. Furthermore they’re walking around like they just got out of bed in socks and slides. It’s a gym and proper footwear and attire needs to be worn or else it becomes a liability waiting to happen. With so many people there the parking is a hassle and shouldn’t take so long to park. With such a large crowd being able to access specific machines is next to impossible because there are so many people using them, they’re taking too long, chatting with their friend, or just sitting on the equipment while they use their phone. There is no consideration that other people are there to workout as well. When it comes to the steam room and sauna people leave their empty water bottles in there and don’t clean up after themselves. When is the steam room even being cleaned and sanitized? Since those amenities are only offered through the black membership how are people who aren’t considered that level prevented from accessing them. Anyone can easily go through the pool area or the locker room to get to them. I do wish the steam room and sauna were not coed and each gender had their own like they do at Lifetime. Yesterday morning when I came early the steam room wasn’t even on. When I addressed this with a staff member who was just standing around in the locker room and texting on his phone; acted clueless and did not even bother going to go check to see why it was not working or notifying someone about the situation. He told me to go ask maintenance why it wasn’t on. Another member even went to go find out and no one assisted her regarding it.

Negative experience: At first they were welcoming ,while I was being taken for a tour around the gym.I loved the place and I signed up for the membership $83,which I wasn’t aware of but I chose not to make a fuss about it.Where I got mad was the PT membership,I specifically told them I will think about it because I was on a budget.The lady asked me to sign anyways ,before you know it got charged for the PT membership. I went there to tell them I wasn’t interested in no PT ,they were nonchalant about my complaints.Each time I go meet them to complain they ask to go meet someone else,my husband had to come with me to talk to the manager but he wasn’t helpful at all.So I had to call my bank for a refund and gave them my cash app that I can have much control of….It’s just sad that they went from being sweet to being unhelpful.

Negative experience: We were waiting for a machine to open up and when it did, a trainer stole it as we were walking up towards it. I tried to make conversation with the trainer but they were avoiding from having any conversations with me. In the past, I’ve offered trainers and their client join in with me which is no problem, but this type of behavior is craaaaazy when the roles are reversed.

Negative experience: This gym was always overcrowded. I made the mistake of signing up for personal training, the trainer was good and nice but I have been trying to cancel it as I didn't want to pay for it anymore And have been trying to for the past 2 and a half months and they keep dodging me. Their system for canceling is awful as they make you talk to a manager when I'm pretty sure they can just do it from any computer. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID OR YOU WILL LOSE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!!

Negative experience: Good location, but stays busy at all hours. The parking lot space has been cut in half so you end up parking under H-E-B half the time. Needs to be a 24 hour gym to help with the congestion. Update: After being closed for weeks and weeks, charging full price for the gym membership, and having to increase the distance I commute the gym substantially. I’m changing this to one star.

Negative experience: Horrible parking. Horrible customer service. A sales director who allows his employees to run amok and try to embarrass members if they try and question things like issues with payment. This has happened 2 times from the same employee. When asked for someone higher to speak to for issues, I have been told there is no one else higher. But that is a lie. The employees at this location try and hide problems from corporate. Again this has happened 2 times before. I’ve seen an employee put his own playlist over the sound system. This was heavy rap and hip hop with very explicit lyrics. I was coming here as a guest to try out the gym. They will not be getting my money.

Negative experience: The worst EOS I have ever been to in my life, if one of the trainers doesn't like you they bother you to the point of making you cancel your membership, rude, poorly educated, and there is no one you can report them to because they say they don't have a corporation to complain so they can do whatever they want, I sent an email a week ago to the district operations manager and to this day I have not received a response

Negative experience: Poor Management! the pool facilities are not working properly in the past several months, and it will be closed for several days every month due to maintenance as well as not being cleaned on time, also dirty water in the pool. Register more people without understanding how to provide services and clean their stuff promptly. Hope someone takes action on this!

Positive experience: Boy is it over crowded , and there is no parking either because its flooded (with water not people) or the spaces are all filled. this is my only gripe but its a public gym if the parking situation ever changed ill defintely change my rating

Positive experience: Our first week was a little disappointing. First day: steam room was turned off. Second day: no handicap parking OR any parking at all was available. Lee is recovering from several knee surgeries and can not walk from the HEB parking lot, therefore, was not able to work out. He, more than most anyone, NEEDS to rehab.

Negative experience: They have the least trained and incompetent staff in charge in front, rude, arrogant and uneducated people who treat you as if you were insignificant or even as if you were a thief. All the EOS I've been to in Houston have excellent service and very professional people except this location

Positive experience: This location is always so busy! Its hard to get a parking spot and use the machines. I do enjoy the group classes, those are fun!

Negative experience: I joined the group training session tonight at 6 pm and although I enjoyed the session the music was too loud, the choice of music was bad too, unfortunately I could not enjoy my workout while listening to rude and explicit lyrics being blared out over what I believe the health and safety limit is.

Negative experience: I used to love this gym! But its over crowded too much! It’s ridiculous cant even do all my routine because there’s no space or you have to wait for machines to be available! They closed the class room (where it was more peaceful to workout before) & now its class only! So overpacked! Pretty much like a planet fitness now with this amount of people! they just keep selling memberships…. Its RIDICULOUS!

Fantastic experience: I think overall a good gym. Yes it can be a little crowded wish they would add more benches. I had a workout consultation with Chaz. He was a true professional in his profession! Guided and advised for the right program to follow. Will be signing up for pt sessions to get back in shape!

Negative experience: SCAM ALERT ON PERSONAL TRAINERS HERE My daughter signed up for personal training (contact person was Arva). After she paid, they ignored her request to schedule services for several weeks, not picking up phone calls and giving her the run around when she visited in person. When she requested to cancel services, they said they would but have continued to charge her. When she called her bank to cancel, they just started to file charges under a different name - adding ABC at the start of the name. This is 100% fraud. Look them up on BBB and you will see many who have fallen victim to their fraud. They intentionally double sell like airline seats and hope the half that got conned will allow them to charge for a few additional months. Police report filed. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING DEFRAUDED.

Positive experience: Good gym, lots of equipment. Only downside is how crowded it can get. Some nights, it's jam-packed until 9pm. Also, hours are kinda short for Fri-Sun.

Negative experience: Really wanted to like this gym. It's very crowded all the time, so that it's hard to find a small area to stretch. And it's hot there. The pool is the main attraction, but it's unsanitary. For example, today, 4-27-24, the day after it was "cleaned", big clamps of something like diaper jell or paper tissue were floating in water. The cleaner did a terrible job, I was swimming there when he vacuumed the perimeter of the pool floor, what he could reach from the deck ( yes, he cleaned a pool with electric vacuum cleaner while people were in the water -- what could go wrong ?) And it's not the first time he "cleans" the pool while people are in the water: the previous week, he scraped the walls with a scraper, not even a vacuum, with a scraper, so whatever was on the walls ended up in the water with people swimming. Who cares, right ? The locker room's floor is dirty. After a shower, I make ten steps to my locker and the plastic flip-flops get dirty. I step over the same crap stuck to a tile for three months already. Nobody cares. Update: 5-14-24 Apparently somebody reads these reviews and acts. The pool is noticeably cleaner now and the crap stuck to a tile is not there anymore. Changing the rating from 1 to 2 stars for the responsiveness. Here is another thing to fix: a filter in drinking fountain needs to be replaced. It switched from green light to yellow two weeks ago and to red a few days ago (How hard is it for your inept staff to notice that, really ???)
