Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Very clean, good variety of weight equipment, and excellent coffee. I love that line dancing is offered and wish there were more dance classes. Zumba early afternoon weekdays would be perfect. Also, I think that when masks are recommended indoors (as in right now), they should be required. Still, many people in the gym are masking anyway so which makes me feel safer, same I have noticed that people are meticulous about wiping down the equipment. Would like to see the front desk lead by example in masking. I'm very glad I joined.

Fantastic experience: Lloyd Athletic Club is the way a gym should be: inclusive, welcoming, and equipped with all that you could need (machines, strength training, free weights, bikes, court sports, saunas, hot tubs, and more). Both the employees and the patrons are super friendly and respectful. Skip the giant corporate gyms and support local.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite gym! It has all the machines and locker rooms amenities that I’ve had at pretty fancy gyms but with a more friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff are all really nice, and I like the variety of members who go there. It feels inclusive and not intimidating. And, if you make it on the right weekend day, you might get to see Fozzie, the sweetest gym dog you’ll ever meet. Also, parking is easy, and the price is really reasonable for a gym with free towels, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Lloyd Athletic Club is a rare gem.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at L.A.C. since 2019 and have stuck around because the staff make you feel so welcomed and at home here! They treat you like a community member, rather than just another faceless name like at a bigger corporate gym. Though the fees may be a little bit higher than at some other places, you get the satisfaction of supporting a local business that gives back to the community. Nick, the owner, is a personable and down-to-earth business owner who genuinely cares about his staff and his customers. He made sure to prioritize his staff and club members’ well-being during the quarantine, keeping the business afloat and staff employed so we had a community to come back to once it was safe. On top of that, the hot tub, steam room and sauna always help me unwind after a strenuous workout. The beer on tap and complimentary coffee make it feel like not only a gym, but a place to kick back and relax after a long day. L.A.C. helped me stay healthy and connected to my community through the ups and downs of the global pandemic. If you’re on the fence about getting a membership here, DO IT! You won’t regret your choice!
