Fantastic experience: The new management is great despite some issues at the gym which in my opinion were band aid fixes dated years before the new manager came in. Those issues are being actually fixed. The staff is helpful and courteous. This is my home gym and love it. The regular patrons are great people that make you want to be in the gym. All around great gym

Fantastic experience: Golds Fit and cycle are coach led classes. All of the coaches are knowledgeable and quick to correct you if your form is not good. Coming to these classes make you feel part of the community. I definitely recommend this gym in Universal City.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, this gym is incredibly welcoming with the front desk staff. When I started my fitness journey 4 months ago, I was completely clueless on how or even where to start. I started talking to the front desk and formed a relationship with Duncan. Duncan is incredibly upbeat, compassionate, and friendly. I started talking to Duncan every day when I came into the gym and without fail he always asked "What's the workout for today?" And always ends with a friendly "Yes sir!" Towards the end of my workout I would talk to him a out my various sets and workouts. He would then suggest doing several other workouts to complete the other workout as well. All in all. Duncan made going to the gym a fun and welcoming experience along with the other front desk staff. I gained a friend and learned more about physical fitness than I started with. Thanks Duncan! And and the other front staff team.

Fantastic experience: Where do I even start? 1st of all, their ADA accessible double front door is perfect to accommodate my severe ILS (invisible lat syndrome). The workers at the front desk are always on it, from the buff gym dudes, to the one intelectual guy always reading something super deep, to that one chick who says hi sometimes. The place is always clean and if a machine ever breaks, it is repaired within like 1 or 2 days. The paper towels are 99% stocked and they have cleaning people constantly cleaning. Also, bow that I am here, the people here are really buff. Muscles everywhere. Sometimes I put on my headphones, play beach sounds, take my shirt off and imagine I am still at muscle beach. This place is the best.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym. Plenty of equipment and the locker rooms are huge. I've been using gym memberships for about 20 years, and I don't think I've ever had so many employees ask me how is my experience here, since moving to San Antonio. I recently purchased some training packages with Mitchell, the personal trainer, and I really appreciate his level of service and attention to detail. My only complaint is the sauna is closed but thats not their fault...its due to covid restrictions. Thanks again fora great experience!

Fantastic experience: Gym is clean and various equipment. Also they have a circuit for boot camp, battle tips and jump boxes. I have not seen this at any other golds gym... I hope they open the pool soon.

Fantastic experience: Love the staff at the front desk. Also, love how clean the whole facility is. I consistently see staff cleaning the equipment. Only complain is that I do see some members with their masks off. The mask on policy should be reinforced. Members should know better. Overall experience is great. Thank you for doing your best to keep us safe.

Fantastic experience: Super nice place and clean. This one is number 1 for me. I hate dusty gyms. The staff is nice and friend and easy to find parking. The pandemic has made it difficult for the customers to take advantage of all the gym could offer like you can't use their sauna and the kids section is no longer available. It's not the gyms fault but it's a bummer.

Fantastic experience: It's so much better with the renovations! Cant wait for the expanded weight area and new equipment. I love that they converted the women's "mini gym" into more space for the kids. Edit: this place is doing a good job with upkeeping the new normal during the pandemic. Safe place to get swole if you didn't get your own home gym during the panic buying.

Fantastic experience: Just signed up here. The equipment is in good condition, the people are friendly, everything is kept clean. My trainer, Murray is epic. Very involved and is showing me the ropes. The customer service is excellent. They actually care. Good crew! Location is also convent!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this gym... if you're seeking a good healthy gym to get your BEST workout DONE, this is DEFINITELY the place!!!✔✔✔ The management and techs keep everything functioning extremely well, everything is in good order, great machines to do your workout, class instructors and personal trainers are amazing...professional BUT they treat you like family!!! They're extremely knowledgeable AND will go out of their way to answer any questions you may have, if they don't have the answer they'll seek it out for you!!! AND my WORD they have the BESTEST Zumba classes, cardio classes, weight classes and the list goes on lol it's a Clean and safe environment for children too!!!

Fantastic experience: Well appointed gym. Despite reviews on here I thought staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Update: they pulled off a great remodel. I'm especially pleased with the new showers. Puts my primary gold's gym to shame. They assigned a lot more room by taking out the basketball court. Lots of free weights and cable machines now. Lots. There is also a swimming pool, a group personal training room, spinning room, room for classes, and a kind of open astro turf area. If Only They would renovate the lockers and put down some rubber mats in the locker room it would be perfect.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym, i go about 3 times a week and one day on the weekend. The staff is great once you get to know them more and the people that workout around you are great. They communicate with everyone and alot of people that i meet are really sweet and talk to alot of people at this gym. The equipment is great, they stay on top of there stuff and i think that this gym is a great gym to go to. Keep in mind planet fitness is a downgrade from this and the gym on base is super boring, people are nice but no one communicates there. I think golds is full of respect and etc.! Thanks golds:)

Fantastic experience: Go see the trainer, WARREN, at I35 & Pat Booker. He is AMAZING! His fitness training skills are phenomenal and truely unmatched. I am 100% satisfied with my results. Not only does he sculpt the body beautifully, but he also focuses on body movement and trains the body by specifically targeting and strengthening those areas. He designs my workouts individually for me and my bad knees. I hired him for 36 sessions. Money well spent. I only wish I could hire him for another 36!
