Gulf Coast Fitness Cape Coral

Positive experience: Not a powerlifting gym. They did have two decent squat racks though. The barbells knurling for squats was not the best. They could use a rouge power bar or something similar.

Fantastic experience: Unclean. Posted rules are NEVER enforced. Good luck getting a bike or a treadmill. Many hidden charges. AMENDMENT! Since this review, management has stepped up efforts to improve things overall. Much cleaner these days, September of 2021. Treadmills and bikes are open & available. I recommend you give this gym a try. Can't beat the downtown Cape location!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Callie over the past two months. She amazing trainer as well as a great person. Callie listens to my struggles and helps to create a strategic plan based on the areas that I am wanting to target. She always makes me feel comfortable during training and I never feel silly for trying new exercises - even if I didn’t do them right the first time. Every day she pushes me to achieve my goals. Callie keeps me motivated and goal oriented, without making me dread working out. I feel so much more healthier and energetic.

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym. I like that its not insanely overcrowded either. I needed to get back into free weights and planet fitness just wasn't doing it for me anymore. This was a nice upgrade for about the same price. The ladies at the counter are also really nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym around 4 months ago. I have no complaints. People are nice and courteous. The front desk people always say hi and bye. The locker room has private showers. I mainly use the free weights area. I do wipe down the benches before and after each use, because not everybody does. It's the same as at most gyms. There are only a few bench presses, but at least they're free weight style. I asked about fees before joining, because of other reviews, and they were patient and explained everything to me. Fantastic experience: Gulf Coast Fitness is some place you probably drove past as you were heading towards your workout not realizing that the city's best gym is right here on Cape Coral Parkway, tucked in right next to Firestone Tires. Everything one would want in a gym is there, including rigorous and tempered exercise classes (Zumba, Palates, Cycling, Weight and Balance Training, and Yoga classes), top of the line exercise equipment, a cute little snack bar, and even a daycare. The staff and management are very warm and responsive to members, and the group class instructors are exceptional. The high quality of instruction in classes is evident as soon as you walk in by the physical shape of members. Even those in their 60's, 70's, and older have the tone and conditioning of teens and twenty year olds. Having been a member of various gyms in Cape Coral, I can say that this one is the best.

Fantastic experience: Omg this place has everything, from its wonderful staff to the constant new equipment, I came in today because me and my Girlfriend are looking for a new gym to join and I was greeted by Toni right as I came in after talking to her for a few minutes she offered me a Tour they have a great variety Of equipment and it looks like they keep a tight ship, very clean. Will definitely be coming back to follow up with my Girl!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a local, affordable, comfortable gym this is it. It has everything that you need without all the stuff you never use that you have to still pay for. The staff is welcoming and friendly and so are the other gym-goers. The equipment is plenty new and you can workout at your pace without waiting for equipment or feeling rushed even at peak hours. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean. Honestly it's the best gym in the Cape. I don't personally do the classes but I see them going on all the time and their schedule looks packed with good stuff. I'm also a big fan of supporting local businesses! Price is fair. I've been to all the gyms in Cape and this is one of my favorites.

During season you want to avoid going after 10am. and after 5pm so you can get to all the machines to have a proper workout otherwise. Its hardly ever too crowded. Ive been a member since it was golds gym and now gulf coast fitness is running the show better than ever!
