There are eight Physical Fitness Centers (PFCs) at Fort Campbell that offer different fitness opportunities to suit your needs. Please have a look at each facility to find the one that's right for you!

Sabo was opened in March 2004 and is located in the area of 2nd Brigade barracks. It is a free facility, which means we do not charge a fee for any of our activities or to utilize the facility.

The Sabo gymnasium has two full-sized basketball courts that can also be used for volleyball and soccer. The gym can also be used for change of commands, deployments, and re-deployments. We have a spacious multipurpose room and a new layout for the cardio and weight lifting areas.

The Lozada PFC was built in 1963 and consists of 27,618 square feet. In 2011, a 7,200 square foot addition was added to the facility, which has been designated as the weight room. The facility offers:

Lozada PFC has a full sized basketball court with synthetic polymer flooring, large cardio area, and co-ed sauna. In addition, Lozada has a large weight room and Spin bike/Well Beats room. On holidays, the hours for Lozada may vary, so it is best to call ahead of time to 270.798.4306 to check.

The cardio room at Estep is full of different machines to help you get your heart rate up, including ellipticals, treadmills, recumbent bikes, Adaptive Motion Trainers, a Summit Trainer, Jacob’s Ladder, and stair climbers. They pride themselves on having a well-maintained facility and offer a variety of fitness classes to meet the needs of every patron.

The current schedule has a range of options to choose from. You can find popular certified instructor-led classes like Zumba Fitness, Cycle, Total Pump, R.I.P.P.E.D., TRX Circuit, Belly Dancing, Pilates, POUND, Sweat & Sculpt, Dance Club Fitness, PiYo, and more. We also have an exclusive program at Estep called Boot Camp Xtreme (BCX). This five- to eight-week intense program consists of the three major fundamentals of fitness: cardio, strength, and agility. It's as much physical as it is mental. BCX is offered twice per year with a spring and fall session, and it's limited to 20-30 participants. BCX is not held within the walls of Estep but rather outside in the elements and at various MWR locations.

The Gertsch Physical Fitness Center (PFC) is committed to helping Soldiers stay ready and productive by promoting fitness among Soldiers and their families, unit morale, a sense of community, and a high quality of life in accordance with Department of Defense Directive and DFMWR Policy.

Gertsch PFC is located near several housing areas and post Lodging. It is easily found from off-post by coming in from Gate-6. Built in 1970, Gertsch PFC has a 8,560 sq ft weight room with a large variety of resistance machines and exercise stations.

treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, and stair climbers The activities that patrons can do at the gym range from people who are just starting to work out and want to tone their bodies, to people who are recovering from an injury, to competitive bodybuilders and people who lift heavy weights. At the gym, you can do a workout that works your whole body, or you can focus on just one muscle group or one joint. There are also a variety of cardio machines that have recently been added to the gym, including treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, and stair climbers.

Gertsch PFC is popular with active duty military, Army civilians, retired veterans, military dependents, and authorized long-term contractors.

The free weights area has dumb bells, bar bells ranging from 5 to 75 lbs, rubber plates 10, 25, and 45 lbs, squat racks, and adjustable benches that can be used for a variety of exercises. We have 2 large mats that can be used for combative purposes upon reservation request. Reservation is always welcome during the hours of operation.

Fantastic experience: Best gym on post IMHO.

Fantastic experience: Of all the available fitness centers at Fort Campbell this one is the purest. It has all the equipment necessary and a culture that promotes wellness. The best part of this facility is its lack of flare, too often gyms are showy and flashy. The employees here are passionate and charismatic.

Positive experience: It’s okay. They new H2F room is very CrossFit like with squat racks. Most of the gym equipment is pretty outdated and in rough shape. VERY busy in the morning. The employees here are often rude and seem to hate life.

Savannah Faulkner 1 year ago

Positive experience: Sabo is awesome! The facility is clean, the employees are friendly, and the equipment is in good working order. The only downside is the hours of operation. Would give five out of five if it was open 24 hours a day.

Positive experience: Staff is terrible. Don't vacuum inside someone's personal space when they're in the middle of an exercise. If it wasn't free to soldiers, the staff would make people cancel their memberships

Thanisha Mitchell 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: I been using the gym Since November. My only issue is that I don't see the stairmaster Machine. Hopefully its there and I probably missed it.
