There are eight Physical Fitness Centers (PFCs) at Fort Campbell that offer different fitness opportunities to suit your needs. Please have a look at each facility to find the one that's right for you.

Sabo was opened in March 2004 and is located in the area of 2nd Brigade barracks. It is a free facility, which means we do not charge a fee for any of our activities or to utilize the facility.

The Sabo offers two full (floating wood floor) basketball courts which can be used for a variety of purposes such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer. The room can also be used for change of commands, deployments, and re-deployments. We have a spacious multipurpose room and a new layout for the cardio and weight lifting areas.

Lozada PFC was built in 1963 and consists of 27,618 sq ft. In 2011, a 7,200 sq ft addition was added to the facility and designated as the weight room. The facility offers:

Lozada PFC has a full sized basketball court with synthetic polymer flooring, large cardio area, and co-ed sauna. In addition, Lozada has a large weight room and Spin bike/Well Beats room. On holidays, the hours for these facilities may vary, so it is recommended that you call ahead to 270.798.4306 to check.

The cardio room at Estep is full of different machines to help you get your heart rate up and stay healthy! They have ellipticals, treadmills, recumbent bikes, Adaptive Motion Trainers, a Summit Trainer, Jacob’s Ladder, and stair climbers. They pride themselves on having a well-maintained facility and offer a variety of fitness classes to meet the needs of everyone who comes in.

The current schedule at Estep has a variety of certified instructor-led classes to choose from, such as Zumba Fitness, Cycle, Total Pump, R.I.P.P.E.D., TRX Circuit, Belly Dancing, Pilates, POUND, Sweat & Sculpt, Dance Club Fitness, PiYo, and more. The exclusive Boot Camp Xtreme (BCX) program is offered twice per year with a spring and fall session, and is limited to 20-30 participants. BCX is not held within the walls of Estep but rather outside in the elements and at various MWR locations.

The Gertsch Physical Fitness Center (PFC) strives to keep soldiers ready and productive by promoting fitness among soldiers and their families, unit morale, a sense of community, and a high quality of life in accordance with DOD Directive and DFMWR Policy.

Gertsch PFC is located near several housing areas and post Lodging, and is easily found from off-post by coming in from Gate-6. It was built in 1970 and has a 8,560 sq ft weight room with a large variety of resistance machines and exercise stations.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym... in my opinion... it's the best in calisthenics.

D J 2 years ago

Positive experience: I like it because the amount of equipment its just always packed so you may not get to use the piece of equipment you like so that is the only reason for 4 stars

Fantastic experience: One of the better gyms i have been to in the army. Clean and organized!

Brad Arbic 3 years ago

Positive experience: The gym is great. They still have the thin steel 45lb plates so you can fit more weight than with bumper plates. They have bumpers too. They recently made a lot of changes and most of the "old school" machines have been removed in lieu of more squat racks/platform combos. I miss the feeling of the gym before the changes but it's still a great gym. Best place to train on post if you lift over 600lbs.

Fantastic experience: Has everything you would need for a bodybuilding style workout - . Has a tall climbing rope and room for rolling but does not provide the spacing necessary for speed work and some Olympic lifts. However, it is right across the street from Frat Gym which has wide open areas for those types of workouts.
