Fantastic experience: I love this all women's gym. Don't have to worry about being made to feel uncomfortable. I go mostly for the Zumba but you have to start somewhere to get into a routine.

The staff is always kind and welcoming, the trainers are always making sure that we work hard and the place is always clean. Fantastic experience: W3body literally saved my life. During January 2023, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, neuropathy and arthritis on my knees. I was taking medication for the pain. I went to physical therapy for a while and later, I joined W3body. At first, I went 3 times a week for weight lifting. Later, I started going 5 days a week- 2 days for cardio and 3 days for weight lifting. Now, after 1 year and 3 months, I lost almost 20 pounds. I stopped taking medication for the pain and I feel great. Thank you to all the staff, coaches, and the wonderful ladies that go to there.

Negative experience: Mal experiencia al cancelar mi membresía y la de mi hija que terminaba este mes estube al pendiente desde marzo para la fecha de cancelación ya que estoy conciente que tiene que ser con 30 días antes ,llamé en Abril 2 para pedir una cita para cancelar y me dijeron que no podían porque que tenia que pasar el último pago que seria el 12 de abril bueno espere me dieron como opción el 16 o 18 de abril tome la cita del 18 el día que firme mi cancelación pregunté este será mi último pago verdad del mes de Abril ... Ooh sorpresa mayo 12 otro pago en mi cuenta llame y solo me tomaron mis datos quedaron que regresarían la llamada y nada llamé de nuevo me dijeron lo mismo y nada ,hoy llamé de nuevo y su respuesta fue como firmaste el 18 de abril se tenía que cobrar este mes por qué debías hacerlo antes del 12 ( disculpa llame el 2 de Abril y ustedes me dijeron que tenía que esperar ) y justo hoy no pueden reembolsar por qué ya quedó cancelada la cuenta por qué no me regresaron la llamada antes y en la hoja que firme al cancelar no hay otra fecha de último pago...frustrante *Actualizando* 05/20/2024 La dueña del Gym Jaimie se comunicó conmigo al ver la reseña disculpándose por el error de sus empleados dejandome saber que me reembolsarian lo del último pago. Lo cual agradezco!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, great training options to choose from, all levels of members are welcomed feom new to experienced. There are many classes to choose from inlcuded in the membership, friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere to workout in!
Fantastic experience: Ive been a member since 2017 and have been loving this gym since. Love the choices of premade protein shakes and energy drinks they have. Their cafe also has a variety of shakes you can choose from. Love it here.
Fantastic experience: I love this gym I’m a high school student and don’t go very often because of a busy schedule due to school. But whenever I do go everyone is so welcoming and it is a warm environment. I feel safe working out and I appreciate how nice and helpful the staff is!

They have a great sense of community and the people that work at this gym are great at helping and definitely making a difference. I would highly recommend this gym if your trying to be better and improve your fitness level, confidence and become stronger! They really make you feel unstoppable! Highly recommend!

Hi Leslie - So sorry - we have no idea what you're talking about. Our records indicate that you have not had an active membership since 2019, one of which you did not complete as the payments stopped going through as of 1/21/19, which was in month 6 of your membership. However, we aren't continuing to charge you. That membership is null and void. Secondly, we don't have contracts that go past 1 year, so if someone has been a member that long, there is no reason they aren't able to cancel. One of the managers or myself can do that for you- not a problem. I find your statements very defamatory and unfair. I would love to solve this issue for you if you do indeed have an active account under a name that is not appearing. Please email us [email protected] or call us 708-788-0010; I would love to get in contact with you ASAP as the owner to solve whatever issue that is causing you to write such a review. Negative experience: Ask to see the physical contract as you are signing up. You have 3 days to cancel in writing from the date you sign. I also do not recommend going for the 6 week fitness trial because if you change your mind after the 3 days you are stuck with it for the 6 weeks, and then the base membership the rest of the year. This isn’t some high quality gym either and it doesn’t justify spending over $600 for it.
Negative experience: The gym is great it’s clean the people nice but I have a huge problem with the music one particular female that sits at the desk every other Sunday , you would think the music should be up beat and something to workout to she plays Spanish love music like she is in love or something like why ? smh , I’m not happy at all with that’s music now I have to go on the days she not there and another thing why do you guys have the wrong hours of operation on your doors that is misleading and should be changed Other then that’s I love this place but you have to make those few changes
Hi Maria- We are so glad to hear that you love the gym! Regarding the 2 complaints that you mentioned- the great news is that they are easily fixable! I'm sorry to see that you gave us a 1 star review due to them when you love the gym otherwise + it's just a quick call to our maintenance person to fix the hours on the door and a quick chat with our Sunday employee to ensure she plays the correct music. Please know we will get on both of these complaints and if there is any other feedback like that in the future, please know that management is all ears and would love to hear from you! Fantastic experience: I love the gym. I joined with the expectation of being a short term member. But the culture at the gym and the vibes I get when I enter are not like anything else I have experienced before. I didn’t realize that all this time what I should’ve been looking for was a women’s focused gym. Once I enter the doors I immediately want to workout. When I am at home I want to go to the gym. No hassle, no drama, no distractions. Seeing women workout hard is motivation in itself. I am convincing my husband to move into the area or close enough for me to drive 15 minutes to stay with this gym. Well done with the customer service. Well done with the atmosphere. Well done with the classes. Well done with the drinks and cafe. The sauna is great! The intimacy of the gym is so far in my opinion unrivaled. I have been to LaFitness , Esporta Fitness, YMCA, Lifetime Fitness, Planet fitness, homes gyms ( at my sister and in laws). But this is the one gym that makes me feel comfortable enough to learn the machines and use the weight room, participate and keep it up. Obviously I joined the other gyms because of all the amenities and the extra equipment and the bells and whistles. BUT I DIDNT end up going GO BECAUSE I WASNT COMFORTABLE. The personal trainers were focused on the money not my progress. So I am grateful for what you ladies have built. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hola Sandra- cuando alguien cancela su membresía con nosotros, paramos de Cobrar y Damos la prueba Que ya cancelamos la membresía- firmado por la manager. Disculpa pero en el caso de usted, no tuvimos ningun tipo de prueba que canceló ni la tuvo usted. Tambien, Siempre puede chequear su cuenta del banco y avisarnos si hay un error en el mismo mes de cancelar. Y por supuesto, lo corregimos. Dice Que canceló hace 6 Meses pero no nos contactó Que había un error ni Tenemos record de eso.
Fantastic experience: It's very clean, quiet and peaceful, even during peak hours. The track floor is my favorite. The locker rooms are so nice. Everyone is super welcoming, very kind, and friendly.

Negative experience: women only gym with male trainers defeats the purpose of it being a woman’s only gym. If it was ACTUALLY just women only gym, muslim women would have a gym to go to. Unfortunately, this is not a womens only gym.
Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing class with Santi yesterday. I know he is a sub but he should be made a permanent instructor ! It was the hardest class I’ve ever taken(and I would take Latoya’s class lol) and loved every minute of it as the time flew by! I even heard people saying that they want to see what other gyms he instructs because they want to be part of his classes. Overall love taking dance classes here !

Jamie was my first visit, and she thoroughly explained everything to me and provided a calendar of all the classes that were available (Which are super fun). Fantastic experience: I've been a member of this gym for over 3 years. Yes, it's no frills...but the monthly fee is so low and there are some amazing women who work here. Group fitness classes are included and there are some awesome ones! Turbo Kick with La Toya or Sabrina are my favorites. They got me addicted to this workout, and I fell so much in love with it that I got certified to teach it. The vibe here is friendly and open. This is a place you can go and not be judged. I have made many friends here!
Fantastic experience: This gym is THE BEST, no fancy extras to pay for, no baloney. Just an easy way to get a great workout with really fun people in a super clean facility! If you go the yearly payment plan route it's pretty darn cheap in comparison to most gyms too! The manager there always checks in with you, and is always open to listen to criticism and help out. LOVE this staff and the availability of machines and fun classes!

Hi Carla. We're surprised to see your review as we haven't seen you in the gym since 2019. We hope you're doing well. We have a lot of updated equipment actually, including new stair masters, bikes, treadmills and strength equipment. We turned the nursery into a cafe, and the gym has a new layout, too. We do have a big screen TV, but it is mostly used to showcase members' heart rates while working out. Your review doesn't seem up-to-date, but we'd love to invite you into the gym so you can see what's new and different. Fantastic experience: I have been a member for over 10 years at Womans Workout. Through out the years I have build friendships and has been like a second home to me. The trainers are amazing, they push motivate you and help you. The Cafe inside is great, offering proteins, meals and juices. I am super happy with Woman's Workout and would not go anywhere else. I have recommend to my family and friends and anyone who asks, it is a great gym awesome environment.
Fantastic experience: Today I saw one of the best birthday parties ever! Instead of staring at phone screens, the young child were in constant motion, moving to music with their mothers, getting their young hearts healthy. It was wonderful! All so cute in birthday hats. Such a great party theme!

Positive experience: I like the gym, it is clean and staff is always friendly. But on Wednesday the music volume is way to LOUD! It’s annoying. I will give more stars but this just kills my motivation. Don’t come at 09:00Am. In general the machines are ok, except from some treadmill that don’t have the inclination mode functioning. I recommend the gym! Pretty spacious and they have dresses, lockers (for $.25 cents), you can refill your water bottle, they have sauna and showers too. The staff is bilingual. Around 9am the gym is usually busy.
Fantastic experience: Great gym for Women. Great classes, team training and one of one personal training. Started going to W3 during covid and I fell in love with the classes, the members and community. Accountability is everything and here you can find an accountability partner. Oh and they have a cafeyoubcan fuel up with a protein shake, bar or coffee. #w3strong
Positive experience: I give it three stars. I really think they need to update the machines. Seems so old. People who work here are ok. They get their job done. The person who opens in the am at 545 she's clueless. Seems lost most of the times I have a question. I go in n do my thing n then leave. But it annoys me when women just go n sit on the machine take selfish n be on their phones but don't even work out. I try to avoid days n times when it's too busy I come as soon as they identify or two hours before they close. I am happy that they are still in business. Having an all female gym is nice . The membership isn't bad at all honestly it's worth it. The suana is nice the showers are clean I hate u have to pay gor the lockers. Wish we can bring our own locks. But I understand why they have it like that. The new café inside I have not yet tried over all I do recommend this gym. It only gets 3 stars because the machines are too close to eachother n they need to update the machines. ..

Negative experience: Not a bad gym but If it is all womens workout world it should only have women as personal trainers and not men in my personal opinion.
Hello Blanca, Thanks for your message. Being a women-only gym, we always tell members upon signing up that only women workout here. We are women only because we cater to women's fitness. However, yes- we do have male employees. By law, if an applicant is qualified, you cannot discriminate and not hire that person due to being male vs. female. Therefore, legally speaking, we are required to hire male trainers if they are qualified. Even if that were not the case, our male trainers are a very important part of our team, bring their own unique skillsets, and have always been extremely professional in working with our members. In fact, many members attribute their success to the two male trainers we currently have. Of course, we have a variety of female trainers, too, if a member prefers to workout with a female trainer, and they are equally as great. We understand that is your opinion to think we should only hire female trainers exclusively, and we would love to follow up with you about the topic, but we cannot find a member under the name of Blanca Solano in our system. Therefore, please reach out to management directly if you'd like to discuss this further or if you want to set up a session with a female trainer; we are here to help, and we hope you understand the necessity, legally, and importance of having a variety of trainers on staff. Hola Angeles- perdon Pero no es verdad. Usted No vino la semana pasado para cancelar cuando nos dijo (creo que fue el viernes). Nos mandó un mensaje hace 10 minutos para ver si puede pasar mañana Pero no tenemos la agenda de la manager ahorita Pero, como mencionamos, puede llamar mañana a las 545am cuando abrimos. No dijimos nunca que no puede cancelar. Perdon Pero no hay mucho que podemos hacer por messenger cuando no estamos abierto un domingo a las 4:45pm pero Te prometo mañana, cuando estamos abierto, que podemos ayudar. Gracias.
Negative experience: The manager or whoever she is likes to lie and misinform IMPORTANT information. Upon signing up she stated that I could cancel ANY TIME but when I tried cancelling it they said I can’t cancel until MAY. Don’t bother signing up all the equipment is old and barely functional and to make matters worse there’s only 1 squat rack. For $26 a month you’re better off going to xsport or charter.
Hi Diana, We are really shocked to read your review, and we apologize for the experience you have had here with us. We want to address some of your concerns and hope that we are able to change your mind. First, all of our equipment is functional. We don't have 1 piece of broken equipment in here. If you are referring to the signs that are on every other piece of cardio, that is to ensure the safety of all members to continue exercising 6ft away due to the pandemic we are still in. We have had the signs since we re-opened in June of 2020, and we plan to keep these signs up at least until the end of the year- again to ensure the safety of all members. They most definitely do not have anything to do with broken equipment, so therefore, we don't have knowledge in reference to what you're referring to. Our apologies if something was broken the last time you came in in May, and was not reported. If someone reports that something is broken, we fix it immediately with our on-site maintenance staff or call the appropriate person/company to fix it. We understand you're frustrated with our 1 squat rack. We have a free standing squat rack that accommodates 1 person on each side + a Smith machine. We purchase new equipment based on member demand, and we have never needed more than that. The squat rack is not used as often as other pieces of equipment. However, our trainers have requested another as the need for a second squat rack and re-layout of the space is arising. We are looking into it. Thanks for your feedback about that directly. We understand that you want to cancel, and we are sorry to hear that you don't want to complete your membership with us. When we sign new members up, we explain the promotion, what's included, and the policy for cancelations. Every staff member, including our long-time staff member that you mentioned, is instructed to explain each aspect of the agreement and would not lie to members or potential members. You signed up for a 12 month membership. If you were able to cancel at any time, there would not be a 12 month term connected to your membership; it would have been a month to month membership, but again, you signed up for 12 months- not a month to month. We are so sorry for any misunderstanding that you had upon signing. We wish we could speak to other specific concerns more, but when we tried to call and see how we might be able to address your frustrations, we were not able to get any specific information. With all of that being said, if there is anything management can do to better assist, please call us directly at 708-788-0010. Just a reminder, you do have the option to transfer your membership to someone who wants to take over the remaining time, which is until March. If there is something else, we would be happy to address it directly with you to get it solved and to make the most of your remaining time with us. Best, W3
Positive experience: Don’t get me wrong it’s an absolutely lovely gym but they need expanded hours. Most folk don’t get off work until 5pm weekdays and usually utilize the entire day on weekends. If they only were open from 4am-10pm a lot of us can get a proper workout in with less crowds. I might have to change gyms soon too because by the time I drive over from work I have 1hr -45 min max. :(

Hola Desiree, Gracias por tu mensaje. Nos sorprende escuchar tu retroalimentación ya que no se te continuó cobrándote después de que cancelaras. Después de apenas 2 meses de haber iniciado tu membresía, requeriste cancelar debido a que te movías a un diferente Estado. Completamos el proceso de tu cancelación y no tenias mas pagos pendientes por cuya razón no continuamos cobrándote. Al momento que cancelaste, tu balance era $0 sin ningún cargo adicional o pagos futuros. Ahora, la razón por la cual recibiste esta carta es porque después de haber procesado tu cancelación exitosamente, llamaste al banco a tratar de revertir ese último pago que se realizó durante tu tiempo con nosotros. Debido a que este pago fue legitimante parte de tu último mes con nosotros, en el momento que trataste de pedir tu dinero al banco, tu cuenta mostró un balance. Por favor ten en cuenta que este balance no fue un cargo extra ni tampoco la continuación de tu pago mensual; si no un intento de la compañía de colectar un pago nunca debió ser revertido. Tu membresía fue cancelada en Agosto. De acuerdo a nuestras notas, ya hablaste con la compañía encargada de pagos en Octubre y ellos te dieron esta misma información. Positive experience: Good friendly instructors
Positive experience: W3 (Women’s Workout World) is a great gym because they have a great variety of equipments, and resources. I have never been as confident about my workouts as going to this gym due to the positive atmosphere that’s presented there. The people who run the business are very genuine with great customer service. The reason I am giving a 4 star, instead of 5, is because the weekend hours are a little skimpy. They reduced their hours from 8am to 2pm to now 8am to Noon on the weekends. Last note, It’s really awesome to do my workouts without men interrupting with “advice” or compliments on my form. Oh and the membership is a great price at $26 a month!

Negative experience: I always loved this gym and have been a member for 13 years. I had to cancel my membership. Waited 90 minutes to get through to bill payment services only to be told that I had to contact the actual gym because it is in their policy. Called over there to cancel and they said that I couldn't do it over the phone, I had to make an appointment and show up in person. Gym was business as usual- almost as packed as the old days. I can't think of a worse environment to be in during Covid. People with or without masks, huffing and puffing aerosolizing the air. Seriously? I told the manager I thought it was BS that I had to physically come in to cancel my membership. They said it was because they have to make sure there are no errors in the cancellation. All they did was verify my address and phone. Took like 15 minutes tops. They didn't have me look at the form or anything before putting it through. So...that couldn't have been over the phone? Don't be a wimp like me, demand that it be acceptable to submit something in writing or just do it over the phone. Waste of time and an unacceptable risk to my health. I understand that they probably use this ploy to try to keep their members, but given the state of the world with Covid right now, this is unacceptable.
Hi Gail, Thank you for your support for the past 13 years. We are so very sorry that your time with us ended in this way as that is never our intention. We know that waiting for 90 minutes on the phone is never pleasant. Unfortunately, the billing company is a third party and has never handled our cancelations, so we do apologize that you had that experience with them first before getting in contact with us. As you noted, there are a few reasons we have members come in to sign the cancelation form. It is true that if there is a mixup, which is rare but can happen, there is written proof from management as well as the member that the person understands the cancelation policy, they're giving up their guaranteed rate and benefits of the month to month status, their membership is canceled as of xx/xx/xx date, etc. If we do cancelations over the phone, there is no verification process, and we cannot upload the documentation signed by both parties to the account. There would be no quality control if there was an error either by staff or a member. We do try to make it as seamless as possible and sincerely apologize if your experience did not seem this way. In addition, we are taking COVID very seriously and have implemented all of the necessary and further recommended policies by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Please know that with these recommendations, masks are not required to be worn while working out and are not recommended, either, for safety concerns. As members come in to workout for the first time since March, we have them sign a list of policies that they must adhere to in order to use the facility, which include mask rules upon entrance/exit/locker room, distancing themselves from others unless they come with someone from the same household, temperature checks, disinfecting all equipment before and after use, signing up for class times to stay within our maximum limit, staying on the markers during class to ensure proper distancing, staying away from our blocked off areas (showers/sauna/water fountain), leaving personal belongings in the locker room, and more. We also have staff cleaning constantly throughout the day, adhering to their own checklists, and have a professional cleaning service at night. As much as we would love it to be, business is not as usual. All businesses, small and large, are trying their best to adhere to guidelines while keeping their businesses alive during this very difficult time. We are one of them, and business is just not as usual. Our procedures are more strict, and our capacities are different. Our class formats have changed, and we are nowhere near our previous daily traffic counts. We understand it may have seemed like that by coming in and seeing people workout without masks, but again please know that we are following all of the IDPH's phase 4 guidelines and are taking it very seriously. We are also being extremely flexible with our members with our freeze policy- whether it be due to financial or due to not being ready to come back in to workout or due to moms having to be home with their kids for e-learning. We want to work with our members, and if a member isn't comfortable, she has the ability to freeze at any time or cancel if she is on a month to month membership. We understand that you may not have been a member who was ready to come back and workout or was/is not able to, but please know that we are doing everything we can to adhere to the guidelines, and so far, we have been able to do that with the help of the members and the staff. We once again apologize for any inconvenience and for departing our time with you on these terms. We take feedback very seriously and will look into ways we can improve our processes. You have valid points, and we will take them into account as we move forward. We actually just did renovations here at the gym 2 weeks ago and by re-laying out the equipment, we have addressed this issue and created more space for members to do their own workouts while classes are going on. Negative experience: Please don't bother wasting your time or especially your money here, this place was never the same again since around like I want to say 2006, from there on out things changed for the worse, management changed and so did staff, and they just brought in theifs instead, my wife and her mother and sister's, used to go there, after things changed things got bad there my wife got her stuff stolen from her locker including her phone and clothes, and when they told the staff and management they did nothing about it. This place used to be careful and picky who they let in to join but sadly they didn't anymore. My mother in law used to also take her two little children with her to drop them off at the day care while she would work out, and her little daughter told her mother that one of the day care staff had hit her brother, we are still to this day outraged because they never did anything, we should of file a law suite against the company. Us People from Oak Park, IL and River Forest, IL used to go there, sadly not anymore.
