Negative experience: This gym is horrible. They changed the terms of my membership without any notification. Never doing business with such dishonest "people" again. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Negative experience: Predatory gym, won’t let you cancel without a 100$ fee even if you’re moving addresses and won’t be near the club fitness anymore. They then try and make you give them more money for their over priced “super duper membership” which lets you stay at any of their crappy gyms instead of just the one! This place sucks go anywhere else with a bit more human understanding and price for quality decency. 0/10

Negative experience: Rude blonde girl at the front desk making inappropriate faces at me and guests feels like rude high school when you walk in unprofessional employees more of the younger kids

Positive experience: The good: - Plenty of great equipment for everyone's needs. - A sauna!! (how are there gyms that don't have saunas nowadays?) - Big facility - 24 hour access The bad: - Insanely crowded. It's like the headquarters for the broccoli head/Instagram-thot meetup. I know this isn't CF's fault but it's worth pointing out. Showing up at 9, 10pm? Yeah, still a lot of people. 11pm? Still a surprising amount of people. I've never seen a gym so wildly crowded! - I wonder how often the bathroom and sauna are cleaned. The machines themselves seem relatively clean but the locker-room is iffy. I've noticed multiple times the showers not having soap, which tells me the employees probably don't step foot in there. This is also one of the few CF locations that has not bothered updating the locker room (it's pretty old in there). - No direct phone line to the gym. If I have a question pertaining to the Ellisville location, I have to show up during staffed hours and talk to someone. Like, come on CF, are your part-time employees THAT busy that you cant offer the public a direct phone line to speak with a staff member? I still have a membership here and mostly use it for the sauna (thank you CF for offering a high-heat dry sauna!) but I now go to a different gym to workout because it's much less packed than CF. Edit: My review sounds negative but I'd still recommend this gym! CF gyms are great overall. My biggest critique isn't so much the gym itself but the fact that EVERYONE in the area packs into this gym. I can't imagine how much more crowded it'd be if there wasn't 24 hour access.

Positive experience: Good overall, gym offering many amenities, such as personal trainers red light therapy, private women’s training area tanning,massage, chairs, smoothie bar, and other various amenities. The actual gym is good a balance of cardio, equipment, free weight and training areas easy access for all health and fitness levels a little bit here for everyone. Gym is usually in good overall shape, shower areas and restrooms could usually use some attention. Staff is highly friendly as are the trainers.overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a good 24 hour access gym. Membership is affordable with a couple different options

Positive experience: The place and amenities are nice. But when moving out of state where there are no locations near you, cancelling the membership is too inconvenient
Negative experience: It seems like the price keeps going up while the quality goes down. I’ve been a member since club took over this location from golds and it has steadily gotten worse. The men’s bathroom is disgusting, it is apparent that the employees are doing the bare minimum as far as cleaning. The saunas gross, you’re lucky to find a toilet clean enough to sit on, and even the urinals have build up. It would be understandable if they employees were so busy they didn’t have time to get to it, but every time you walk in they’re behind the front counter on their phones or talking with their buddies. The only thing that has kept me a member is the location. If it wasn’t so close to my house I’d no longer be a member.

Negative experience: They play music that glitches at night which is super super annoying. Has happened multiple times please fix this. It is super super annoying
Fantastic experience: Love this gym it is a great alternative to paying 160 at lifetime fitness!
Negative experience: After being a member for 3yrs they decided to remove my privileges unless I payed more. Staff at this location doesn't do their job. Bathrooms are usually dirty. And the equipment is always broken. Bye Bye Club
Positive experience: This is a great location. The equipment is great. The 3 stars is because the men's restroom is not cleaned often enough. A early morning custodian may be needed.
Negative experience: This place used to be the hallmark gym for me to go, but it’s starting to turn into a dump. The men’s bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a month. All the cable machines are broken. Employees sit on their phones the entire time not greeting guests. The least they can do is clean the bathrooms!!
Negative experience: Not what I signed up for. A crowded teenage hang out, with excess wait times on the machines due to their phone obsessions. This is the response I received when I brought this to the attention of the facilities manager. See below. “We are sorry to hear our facility did not meet your expectations or needs. However, a waiver would not be granted for the early termination fee based on dissatisfaction with the facilities patrons.”
Negative experience: Lots of kids workout here. After staff hours they let their friends in and there is lots of jacking around. They never rack their weights, they sit on equipment and play on their phones and a majority of them are rude. I've worked out at several other locations and this one is by far the worst. I went early today and apparently school is out already. I'm canceling my membership.
Fantastic experience: I always go at night and I find it incredible, I really enjoy hanging out with my friends while we exercise

Negative experience: I used to enjoy my time here but after the merger of Golds, it seems to be too busy. After they stopped their slogan of “Lift Local,” it’s had a noticeable drop off in the form of corporate America greed. Less about clients and more about pushing metrics aka increasing prices and making existing memberships severely a la carte. I’ll admit looking over my original contract, it’s allowed but they’re essentially forcing those long time members to either leave the gym or pay double for what they previously had access to before in the form of an “upgraded” membership.
Negative experience: Horrible gym first because of it's members, dirty, nasty, selfish members, creating unwelcomed environment, I have been to gyms since age of 14, now 45, all around the world, and this is one of the worst, I have been to the one they had in Chesterfield, been to St. Charles and Creve one, all bad, it is good my insurance pays for it and other gyms in area so I have other options.
Negative experience: The worst gym I’ve been a member of. It has gone down hill over the years. The layout of equipment can definitely be better. Always dirty in womens restroom and sanitation wipes empty by equipment. You never know who the new manager is of the month. I put my membership on hold because I was tired of the broken equipment, weights not being reracked, kids on their phone sitting on the equipment rather than using it. I made the decision to cancel my membership back in August and now I notice I’m still getting billed starting in September. When trying to contact customer service they tell you that you’re basically out of luck because they already charged you and no one is calling me back or returning emails. Check your bank accounts this gym/billing management company will take your money.
Positive experience: Updated July 11, 2024: Upgrading my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Looks like Mgmt is making an effort to get weights re-racked - good job! Enforce your rules! Picture of the Leg Press at Ellisville location with 14 45-pound weights left on the machine. I see this all the time back there where the machines are. And, there's a camera so Mgmt. can see who's doing it. I'll gladly edit this post and give more stars if/when you actually enforce your own rules about re-racking the weights when done.
Negative experience: Hands down, the worst club fitness in the entire city. Equipment is constantly broken and very dirty. Def go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Cyndi and her welcoming demeanor at Club Fitness. She explained the benefits of the membership to me, gave me a tour of the facility, and answered all of my questions. I am so excited to get back into a workout regimen, and the Kids Club is such an added benefit as a mom with a young child. Thank you, Cyndi!

Negative experience: In my experience I would not recommend this establishment specifically ( Ellisville club fitness) I did not feel safe or welcomed here. LGBTQ+ (and disabled) community please stay safe out there. Avoid this place if possible. I don’t make a lot of reviews but if this review saves someone else the harassment then it’s worth mentioning. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I have experience as a manager in retail/ customer service for almost two decades. Disheartening.

Negative experience: Used to have a great cost-to-product value when I was with golds but they won’t honor the contract I had pre-COVID. Prices are higher and equipment isn’t as good. Pretty lame.
Fantastic experience: Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been awesome and very helpful. Everyone has made me feel welcome and comfortable getting started with my fitness journey. Front desk staff continues to be excellent from answering my first timer questions to making me a super tasty smoothie. I look forward to spending a lot of time here.
Positive experience: I’ve maintained my all access membership since I graduated college. This option allows members to use all club fitness facilities, which is great for running errands in a different area or moving to a new zip code. The facilities and equipment are well maintained. However, “peak hours “ live up to their name here. I also prefer they’d kept the Chesterfield location open, as it’s much more convenient for people who live and work there.
Fantastic experience: Cindy is the morning customer rep in the mornings, she is very helpful and a joy of sunshine greeting everyone!! I love seeing her smiling face every time I go
Fantastic experience: I followed my personal trainer, Toby Hall, to Club Fitness after Gold's Gym closed. I've been with Toby for four years and am grateful I found him. He has a great disposition and demeanor and can work with anyone. He also has a degree in Kinesiology, so he understands how the body works. CF did a tremendous job welcoming and integrating members transitioning from Gold's Gym. The gym itself is kept clean and well-maintained. Cyndi assisted and resolved an issue I had getting into the Pulse Studio. Cyndi and Toby are an asset to your company. I hope you all recognize and appreciate how good an employee they are. Good employees are hard to find and keep.

Fantastic experience: This gym is incredibly clean and the staff is helpful. I had been to the the Ballwin Pointe and Chesterfield YMCA before I found this gym and I am very happy that I did.
Fantastic experience: The classes are always challenging and the workout changes everyday so you don’t get bored. The coaches are enthusiastic, clear with instruction and helpful with providing modifications.

Fantastic experience: My health-conscious friends and I decided to utilize the Thera-guns in the BURN ZONE. We found the noise level to be extremely jarring. Thankfully, Erin was accommodating to our request to lower the volume to protect our ear health. I measured the decibel reading after the adjustment and found that the new reading was between 70-80 dB (typical conversation volume is between 60-70 dB). I do not want to post the original decibel reading before the adjustment because I don’t want the audiology police to find out about it and shut down the gym.

Negative experience: This is the pastiest gym I’ve ever been to. If you want to see what the typical intimidating gym filled with buff guys hogging the machines in cliques looks like, go to this one. If you are fat or anything other than pale, you will get looks and people will stop in their tracks to look at you in all your glory. The receptionist also flirts with girls while ignoring guests waiting in line. Typical aura you would expect from this part of the County.
Negative experience: They make the platinum membership the unlimited upgraded tan membership then in October of 22 they change it LOL
Positive experience: Entirely too cold to build up any kind of circulation or break a sweat. If you’re serious about bodybuilding go to another gym. If you you like looking a t malding middle aged men with that only come here to park their diesel trucks outside this is the place for you
Positive experience: I had the three day trial and went to try my second day. The first time was a great experience, dropped the kids there and everything. The second time not great. I showed up and the front desk proceeded to tell me it's three CONSECUTIVE days. I thought I must have overlooked it but upon checking the pass and the website, I can't find anywhere where it says that. So my first issue of that's the case is it should be made more clear. I then decided I had come this far and would eat the ten dollar one time charge. Was meeting a friend there to workout like the first time. And our kids would play together. The front desk the stopped me and said sorry, we can't take your kid unless you have a membership. Look, it wasnt the end of the world but it was a waste of time. .I'm surprised they did not make an exception as it ses clear it's not a liability issue it's a money issue. Anyways, I'd just try to. More clear on that. I was l close to cancelling orange theory in lieu of CF but given that I couldn't even get a hold of an actual person at the location to discuss it seems that avoiding clients is the MO
Fantastic experience: I love Club Fitness - Ellisville. The workouts are high energy, dynamic, and efficient. The coaches are motivating, enthusiastic, and create a fun atmosphere for exercise. The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating. Highly suggest you come experience a class at the Club Fitness. Best workout in the country! 5 stars

Cameron showed us each and every room, service offered, and thorough explanation of any and all fitness questions regarding use of machines as well as affect on body. Fantastic experience: Today was my first day at Club Fitness. My whole life I was scared to go to a public gym. Rylee and AJ were at the front desk and they were so helpful getting me set up with a membership and a fob. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow and officially start my fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best equipped gym in MA. It's spacious, has whatever you can possible need and if you want specific v and driven training, this is the place to go.
Fantastic experience: Awesome place to workout! Great staff, clean facility, I always enjoy myself when coming here to workout! Also the Manager Cameron Lindsay is doing a awesome job!
