Fantastic experience: Victory MMA is a great place to train. I moved to the area recently and had pretty high standards for a new gym. I really like the vibe of the people who train here and the quality of the instructors! Never felt intimidated or unwelcome, the owner Alex clearly cares about the community of the gym and it shows. S/o to Sensei Stan for being an amazing teacher and mentor. His patience, expertise, and dedication makes every training session a great experience. As a complete beginner, Sensei Stan has tailored my lessons to my specific needs and abilities. He consistently challenges and pushes me to improve, and I'm amazed at how much progress I've made so far. Truly one of the best! Fantastic experience: MMA Gyms can vary greatly in culture and acceptance. Victory MMA in AH is by far the best MMA gym I have ever been to in this regard. Not just the coaches, but the students as well were all extremely welcoming to a new face, and I had no problem finding multiple training partners on day one.

Sense provides a safe ad fun atmosphere for our child to not only learn how to keep herself strong and safe physically, but also mentally with the weekly mat chats. Fantastic experience: This is by far one of the greatest MMA gyms around! It's not only great for the kids - but they offer fantastic kickboxing and grappling adult classes too! The attention span for kids can be short, which can be frustrating as a parent, especially when you're sitting on the side watching them not pay attention(and you've already invested the money into the class). This is NOT the case with Sensei Alex! He has an amazing talent to keep each and every student's attention throughout the entire class(even those kids who typically find it hard to focus or tend to hold back). I've never met someone who remembers every student's name from day one and highlights every student multiple times during class like they do at Victory. The mat chat is effective and the kids get it, the analogies are relatable for the kids and they really resonate. The adult classes are fantastic -- great for all skill levels! The group is supportive, encourages growth and development, and is a place to come if you're experienced or just getting started and want to learn. I could not say more about how great this place is!

Fantastic experience: not enough good words i can say about the place. i was a kid 10 years ago at the naperville location when Alex was still an assistant instructor and he still hasn't lost that ability to connect and teach kids, it's only gotten better over the years. and for the adult classes whether you're just looking to train for fitness, self defense or looking to train full time/for a fight victory has it all. everyone there is incredibly welcoming, and no one will ever make you feel out of place. it's one of the gyms that feel more like a community than a business when you're in there.

Fantastic experience: Sensei is great with kids of all ages. He teaches valuable life lessons, helps them maintain focus, teaches respect, encourages good habits and much more! We're very happy with our 5 year old's classes here. We've seen him apply his MMA skillset when play wrestling with friends. Facility is clean and there is plenty of parking. Sensei is also very communicative!

Fantastic experience: I started just about a month ago and can not even tell you how happy I am I decided to start this MMA class. The instructor Alex is a great guy that really knows his stuff and teaches at a great pace. Does not matter if you are walking in with advanced skills or bran new to the sport he makes the class and training work for all. In just one month I feel like I have not only learned so much about the techniques of MMA but I feel more in shape, more flexible, and all around much more healthy. Can't wait to see how I feel after 1 year!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always wanted to learn martial arts but never found the time to do it. When I finally decided to do it, I came across Victory Martial Arts and took a chance. I’m glad I did and now I can’t imagine myself training at any other martial arts school. They have very good curriculum/moves of the month, great instructors, convenient class times and a very positive welcoming atmosphere. They also have daily "mat chats" that are done after every class that focus on mental and emotional fortitude, which is very important which helps to completely develop the positive winning attitudes on the children. I am very happy with my children's improvements in their attitude, focus and their physical efforts. All thanks to this gym. And it's very well priced! Fantastic experience: Signed up August 2022 for the free trial and have been going 3 times a week since. The coaches provide a great atmosphere for new and seasoned students and you're always challenged to give it your best. I leave each session completely exhausted but the feeling of kickboxing and grappling is so addictive keeps me coming back. This is a great place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a change from your typical gym experience.

They have two instructors most of the time and take care of each student individually as much as possible. Another great thing in Victory MMA is, they also focus on character education. At the end of each class students sit together learn the topic of that month. Overall they don't just teach Martial Arts but also how to be a better person. Fantastic experience: Live, love, matter... learn to be present in your life, focus on your relationships, find joy and make a positive impact in the dojo (classroom, work, etc). The mat chats with Sensei Alex at Victory MMA are everything! He is a cool dude and understands what is truly important in life. As a parent, it is so powerful for my son to hear these messages from Sensei. My son carries this joy and focus with him to school and into our home. We have been attending MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for a year in the 4 to 7 year old class. I love being on the bleachers in the dojo to watch the class and hear the mat chat. This helps us reinforce the message at home and also practice the moves of the month. It is very easy to get acclimated to class. Sensei Alex is kind and has a genuine passion. There are also a number of "Sensei Dads" that take the adult class and help out with the kids class. They are all such lovely people! Everyone has a smile and is excited to be in the dojo training. The energy is contagious and the kids have a lot of fun while also learning discipline, confidence and focus. We are so grateful to be part of the Victory family!

Fantastic experience: We've been going to Victory for about two years and this class has helped with my son's focus tremendously. We love the positive atmosphere and the mat chat at the end of each session. This is a monthly topic that is talked about with the kids. Topics like respect, personal growth, not being negative, etc. Aside from learning the boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu techniques the positive message being given to the kids is priceless. This is what differentiates Victory MMA from any other class being offered out there. Alex does an awesome job with keeping the kids engaged throughout the entire class.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Victory MMA classes for the past 9 months (Tuesday & Thursday nights). Alex has been a great instructor, and now Nick has been helping lead the group on Tuesdays. Great place to start your MMA journey (no matter what age or gender ***The 7-9pm is the adult class***), as the instructors and fellow students are all high quality personnel. No judgment from either side, just fun, informative, and a great way to get some positive energy going during the week. Awesome work guys, keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I first heard of Victory Mix Martial Art Academy through the book ”Way of the Warrior Kid” by Jocko Willink. My son was happy to hear there was a Victory Mix Martial within 5 minutes from our house. While the class seems to be organized chaos at first, the staff does an excellent job of keeping the class focus and engaged, while keeping it fun and positive. Even with a bigger Saturday classes, the instructor to students ratio still allows for one on one instruction. Plus the first two-week the free trial helped get us in the door before signing up. I would be remiss if I didn't give at least one piece of feedback for an opportunity for improvement. I wish there were a handout of the expectations and rules of the dojo when we first signed up. This may be on the website, and I may have overlooked it. Final thoughts: My wife and I would highly recommend Victory Mixed Martial Arts Academy.

Fantastic experience: Alex at Victory is hands-down one of the BEST teachers I have ever witnessed (like, across any sort of teaching I've ever seen). He is so good with the kiddos -- He gives them "Mat Chats" at the end of class that frankly are just as valuable for the parents as they are for the kids. Everyone is always soaking them in -- The curriculum, the motivation he gives the weeOnes, all of it is just phenomenal. I highly, highly recommend this place for anyone with kiddos who might not fall into traditional, mainstream sports. It's worth its weight in gold!

Fantastic experience: The children's class is awesome. My daughter joined the class about 1 1/2 years ago and she's loved every moment of it. She really loves learning the punch combos and ground work. I love the fact that there is always plenty of assistant instructors in the class which means very child gets ample one on one attention. Fantastic experience: There seems to be an MMA gym on every other street corner nowadays. The sport has grown so much and so fast that I think we can consider it mainstream. However, although it's exponential growth has produced plenty of talented instructors and practitioners, unfortunately the character development that the martial arts helps one to foster doesn't always follow suit. Quite honestly, if you want to learn MMA, there are plenty of qualified individuals out there. However, if you want to learn MMA from a qualified instructor, WHILE learning how to become the best version of yourself, this is the place you need to be. To paraphrase Jordan Peterson, "Don't just learn how to be dangerous. Learn how to be kind because you are dangerous."

Fantastic experience: I recently moved up from Alabama and wanted to pick up a new hobby and meet some local people. I've always been interested in muay thai and jiu-jitsu, so I searched around and found this place. I am very glad I gave them a chance, because Alex and the other instructors have been awesome since day one. They know what they are talking about and deliver the content in a patient, easy to understand way that makes it easy for beginners to jump right in. The other trainees there are also very friendly and it makes for a welcoming atmosphere, even for someone who isn't a local. I highly, highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Alex is an amazing leader. The atmosphere is amazing and the values being taught to both kids and adults is really something special. Weather kid or adult if you are looking for top level training, a family feeling, or life direction. This is the place.

Fantastic experience: It is been a year my kid is going to Victory martial arts and he enjoys going to the class. The teacher is great and the Mat Chats he gives at the end of the class is beneficial for both the kids and adults.My kid used to be very quiet in the beginning and now he tries to participate in the conversation during the class.

Fantastic experience: So I meet this company, well Alex more specifically, at my daughter's school event. She was already in a class and we were just there because it was an event at her school. Lol well after listening to everything he said and preached about I just had to try them out. So here we are, part if the Victory family and honestly, this was the best decision I ever made. The strong value of anti-bullying and just being a good person is amazing. The fact there are almost always multiple teachers during her class is amazing. Each child is recognized as one as well as part of the group. Each child gets the help they need. And for the parents, it is just an amazing environment. Alex does mention how he holds us parent accountable to help practice with them at home, which is amazing because yes we take them to a class but as working adults and parents we can forget how much it means to be as involved as possible in the lives of our children. It is beyond amazing how Alex remembers each kids name. It feels just like a family being a part of The Victory Team. I recommend them to everyone who will listen. If you want a class where your child will learn great self defense skills along with self positivity and standing up for what is right, this is the place for you. I could not be happier here nor my child!!

Fantastic experience: Victory martial arts is such a great learning environment and The best gym I have ever trained at. Alex being the one who teaches us everything, is very knowledgeable in what he does and focuses on his students to make sure they make the best out of what they learn and most importantly he’s super motivational. I take the MMA and Kickboxing classes, as well as the No Gi juijitsu and Competition Sparring classes and it’s the best decision I have ever made. Technique is something I wanted to work on the most and Victory Martial Arts makes that possible. This is a fantastic gym with the opportunity for any level of experience to get better at what they do and want to accomplish no matter what the goal is! 10/10 recommendation

Fantastic experience: I am thankful that we came across Victory Martial Arts. This place treats you like family. Alex is the best at what he does. He really takes the time to engage with all the kids. I was impressed how Alex motivates the kids. He doesn’t just teach kids how to defend them selves he’s also taking the time to teach them how to deal with life in general. This clas is all around great. Fantastic experience: Victory MMA is amazing! Our kids have been practicing MMA with Sensei Alex for awhile now and it’s been great. They have learned so much and Sensei Alex teaches not only wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, bjj, but also gives Mat Chats at the end of every class to instill in the kids that MMA is also about Respect and Honor and a mentality do be a better person . It shows Sensei Alex really cares about the kids. They have adult classes too! We had one of daughters birthday party there as well and it was great! All the kids loved playing games with Sensei Alex and loved the Dojo. The whole family enjoys attending the classes and come out of them with a sense of confidence. Thanks Sensei Alex for all you do!

Fantastic experience: At first when I started thinking about learning Jui-Jitsu, I was worried that the sport might be too intense for me. When I joined Victory Martial Arts I realized that it is actually a very fun, enjoyable sport. People there are very fun and very considerate. Alex is an amazing instructor, he pours his heart out to teach the martial arts. He teaches the technique to a great detail and makes sure people practice in a safe manner. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Fantastic experience: My son has been a student at Victory MMA for about 3 years (back when there were only about 4 kids in the class). My hopes honestly were just to get him introduced to the mat in preparation for his future wrestling career in a way that wouldn't get him burned out like so many kids I know that get forced to wrestle at such a young age. This has turned out to be so much more than that for him. He learns more about respect and honor and making good habits than he does anything else. I've seen my son grow not just as a martial artist, but as person; inside and outside of the dojo. Sensei Alex Krotiak is absolutely amazing and it is no wonder that the class has gotten so popular that he had to add another youth class due to the overwhelming demand by parents to get their kids in his program. I absolutely love this place and all they do, I can't say enough good things about it. I would recommend Victory MMA without hesitation to anyone looking lead their children down a fulfilling journey of respect, discipline and of course, self defense.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with Victory MMA Arlington Heights. Since day one I was welcomed with open arms, the instructor Alex also all of the students are completely respectful which makes for a great atmosphere. I'm on my third week but I can honestly say I was addicted after my second day. If you're looking for a place where you can get in a great workout meet some nice people have a good time and learn proper mix martial arts technique look no further.......

Fantastic experience: I went to Victory MMA on a recommendation from a friend, a longtime martial arts student. I was immediately greeted warmly and introduced to the students who were already in class. Once class began, it was tailored for each student reflecting their individual skill level. I trained in two classes and found both of them to be the perfect mix of technique, skills, and workout. Just the right type of instruction for an experienced martial artist or a new student. Alex, the instructor, is remarkably skilled in both martial arts and intrapersonal communication--resulting in an extremely warm and appropriately challenging marital arts experience. I would highly recommend this gym to new students, kids, and avid MMA players.

Fantastic experience: Victory Martial Arts is everything I was and am looking for in a MMA gym. The class sizes allow for you to work with many people of different skill sets and sizes. The class sizes also allow you to receive personal advice and demonstration on the techniques from the instructor that are the focus of the classes that week or month. Speaking of instructors, all 3 of the instructors that I have learned under during my time at Victory have been gracious and truly cared about my growth as a martial artist and a person. The current instructor even asked me after class if I would like to train one on one with him for another half hour. The facility is clean and you can tell that there is full effort taken to keep the facility clean and sanitary. There is plenty of mat space and I have rarely ever felt like my training was ever effected by the amount of training at available. If you do not own equipment Victory has equipment that you can use so that your training during their current lessons is not hindered from your lack of equipment. They also have no problem providing advice on equipment they believe is worth owning. The last and most intangible thing is the feeling of family. It truly is the Victory family. You're supported by everyone, trainers, other class members, and it extends outside the gym. Victory members will go watch UFC fights together or try to bring a following when their own gym member is participating in a fight night. It truly is a great atmosphere to get everything you want to get out of MMA, as long as you are willing to work for it.

I have been involved with mma for 6+ years and is a fantastic gym for me I have also brought friends with 0 experience and they too have liked it. A great gym for any level.

Fantastic experience: Victory Martial Arts Arlington Heights - is the best place to get karate lessons for kids. Master Alex teaches them self-control, discipline, respect, focus and many more! My son looks forward to each class. He started not long ago but is eager to go every time. I recommend this place to any parent that is looking for karate lessons for their kids. Every lesson is ended with a life learning concept which prepares the kids for greater adventures! Kids love Master Alex! He always listens to the kids and he is the best instructor around

You learn a lot very quickly and sensei Alex is very good at teaching and is always happy to help you if you don't understand something. Everyone is very nice and it doesn't take long at all to get comfortable and make new friends. Training here is definitely the best option.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Victory Martial Arts for the past couple months ands it's been a blast! I joined to train my passion, Muay Thai, but since I've started training at Victory I'm getting hooked on JuJitsu and becoming a more well-rounded fighter.
