Fantastic experience: I signed up for the 6 week trial the first week of July 2022. I was immediately impressed with Ryan and team at First Capital Gym. I committed to becoming a member only two weeks into the trial. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about each of his clients and wants them to reach their fitness goals. Over the past month of regularly attending the workouts, I have seen so much improvement in my appearance, strength, the way I feel, and my overall sense of confidence. The hardest thing about working out for me previously was knowing exactly which exercises I should do, how much weight, wondering if I was performing them 100% correctly, and not having a spotter present at all times for heavier lifts. First Capital Gym resolved all of these issues for me as I know I have the guidance I need and someone spotting/helping me throughout the workout if I have any questions. It is also great to have someone that helps keep me accountable for my fitness and nutrition progress. Work/ home life is also very busy for me and their routine hourly workouts are very easy to coordinate into my busy schedule. This gym is life changing for me and I very much look forward to each workout. It has been amazing to see changes within my body and self image within the past several weeks that I have not been able to achieve on my own for the last 10+ years. Thank you First Capital Gym!
Fantastic experience: First Capital Gym is awesome. As a social worker, my job is stressful and I spend a lot of my time helping others develop self-care skills, however I realized I wasn’t doing enough to care for myself. I’ve never been able to stick to a self-directed workout routine and frankly, I wasted a lot of money on gym memberships I never really used. Not only is it more cost effective than traditional personal training, the encouragement and support you get from your trainers and classmates is invaluable and better than any other training experience I’ve had. If you’re anything like me and you’re tired of wasting money on unused gym memberships, tired of getting bored with the same routines all the time, tired of not really knowing what to do to be healthier, and need some accountability for your fitness goals, then this is the place for you. All you have to do is show up. It doesn’t matter how in or out of shape you are currently, there's never a sense that you’re incapable of improving. Feeling the strength of your body and seeing the results of your hard work is empowering. I’m only 4 months in and can’t recommend this place enough. It’s worth every penny.
Fantastic experience: I've been with First Capital Gym for over a year. Ryan and all the trainers provide excellent support. They provide you with the guidance to strengthen yourself and individualize your training based on your capabilities. It's this expertise that has allowed me to quickly recover from major surgery and make me stronger than I thought I could be. It's an outstanding gym with the best atmosphere for individuals at all levels.
Fantastic experience: If you're ready for a healthy lifestyle change First Capital Gym is the gym for you. I tried the 6-week program in 2019 and I am still a member. Ryan and Amber created a gym like no other. The trainers are knowledgeable and take the time to know the member and their skill level. They help you perform correctly, encourage you and challenge you. Ryan and Amber created a nonjudgmental and encouraging atmosphere with the small group training sessions. I am so much healthier in many ways since 2019 due to the guidance of FCG.
Fantastic experience: I was referred to Ryan by a friend and I'm so happy I made that call. I have worked out in the past with trainers, but this has been by far the Best experience ever. Even though it's a small group training you feel like it's one on one. All of the trainers are always walking around watching to make sure you have proper form and making corrections when needed. If you need to lose weight and/ or build muscle I highly Recommend First Capital Gym!!!!
