Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness

Fantastic experience: I attended an intro Krav Maga class & level 1 class today. It was a wonderful experience! I’ve taken a couple self defense classes at my college & they didn’t compare to this. This place has the intensity I’ve been looking for. The Krav Maga classes here are the REAL deal. You learn the basics, warm up, and then move directly into hands-on combat with a group of classmates. We were given “real world” examples for how to use the skills we were learning, like escaping from someone forcing you somewhere. We were encouraged to use full strength in deflecting attacks as well. I was the only girl in my group, & 3 out of the 5 guys in my group were pretty big & tall guys. So, if you’re looking for a place with people who can challenge you and who you can practice full force combat with, this might be it. The instructor (Eric, I believe) was very friendly and full of tons of funny jokes that made me feel comfortable right away. It was obvious that he was genuinely interested in helping us newcomers learn. He moved around the group, giving us all pointers as we practiced. Even the front desk staff was super nice! Thanks for the great experience. I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing!!! The staff is super friendly, and treat you like family. They have absolutely wonderful classes and great instructors. I've been with this program for 9 years, and I don't plan on quitting anytime soon. These amazing people are like a second family to me, and they truly do care about the well being of their customers. I highly recommend at least checking this place out!!!

Fantastic experience: My kids have been training here for almost five years now. They have gotten amazing instruction and such a wonderful family atmosphere! I have also trained at the gym and can't say enough good things about it. They teach amazing self defense skills with no ego. This is a great combination. The owners and instructors are so skilled and truly care about everyone who walks in the door. Highly recommend!

Does your gym have Spring Camp where you learn how to manage a car-jacker or learn the signs of an impending sucker-punch? Kid's Summer Camp? FREE Women's Self Defense every month? Monthly CrossFit challenges? It's so much fun for all ages. I've seen them from 3 years old to 70. They have 3 locations in Gahanna (new location at 950 P Taylor Station Rd), Hilliard & Lewis Center. Leave your spray tans and bicep curls at home, boys and girls, because this place is the real deal.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! The instructors all care about what they are teaching and always show up motivated and very positive in for their classes. Coaches are knowledgeable about what they teach and are usually available just before and after classes to answer questions you have. I'm always trying to talk my friends and coworkers into coming and trying it at least once.
