Cascade Athletic Club- Portland

Fantastic experience: Low key gym, hardly ever busy, never crowded any time I’ve been in. Very quiet, mostly older folks. Standard but good selection of machines and free weights. Lots of room in the free weights area.

Positive experience: Friendly, good training simple graduating steps as you progress.

Fantastic experience: Well I'm hesitant to share because then others will come rushing over and crowd the place. But I'm loving their water aerobics and hot tub. Great way for a "mature" lady like me to get my exercise in.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, nice facilities, not too crowded, friendly helpful staff, nice pool and steam room, my three year old daughter has a blast in the childcare area (she often asks me if she can go “to the gym”) the staff Sarah and Felicia are so good with her. They also offer a complimentary training session in which I recently got some good advice from Allen who is very knowledgeable and helped me to reevaluate my routine and dietary needs. It’s a little spendier than the corporate gyms but very worth the price for what you get.

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly atmosphere. Nice mix of machines. Can always find a free bike or treadmill. Classes are excellent, especially Blast. It’s not a shiny modern gym, which I like - it keeps it quiet and caters generally to an older clientele. We use the on-site childcare also which is wonderful for my 3 & 5 year old. They have good morning hours that work for my schedule. Everyone is following Covid protocols, which is important to us & I haven’t experienced this at other gyms.
