In order to aid students in understanding the delicate character of the poses and how they influence the body, mind, and breath, her teaching techniques involve observing and providing clear instructions for motion, stillness exercises, breathing practices, and the utilization of props. Becoming truly conscious of the body and attentively hearing the sensations and messages it conveys is a significant part of her teaching.

I'm so glad I found Rooted Yoga! Amber is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure I'm in the right positions to help with my aches and pains. The atmosphere is so welcoming and I feel like I can relax and focus on my health. I'm amazed at how much my flexibility and balance have improved since I started going. I'm not usually a fan of exercise, but if I have to miss a class I really miss it. Amber, thank you for improving my life!

For the past 15 years, I have been a part of the fitness industry, but I never liked yoga. I tried out many yoga studios in my area, but I couldn't wait for the classes to end. Then I found Rooted Yoga close to where I lived, so I decided to give it a try. When I first spoke to Amber, I said, "I don't like yoga, but I know my body needs it." I had a bad hip and was considering a hip replacement or stem cell therapy. To make sure I kept going, I bought 10 sessions.

It has been a year and a half since I started going to yoga classes, and the deep stretching we do has significantly reduced my hip pain. I no longer dread going to class, and I'm so appreciative of the knowledge that my instructor, Amber, has. I'm so happy I found the style of yoga that works for me!

I owe a great deal of gratitude to Amber and Rooted Yoga for giving me my life back. After enduring multiple difficult pregnancies and the physical strain of being a mother, my core and lower back muscles became weak and eventually stopped functioning. This meant I had to miss out on activities with my children due to the fear of re-injuring my back. However, since I began attending Rooted Yoga regularly, I no longer wake up in pain, I haven't had to go to a chiropractor, and I'm able to do all the things my kids want to do, such as running and hiking.

I'm so glad I met Amber and joined Rooted Yoga - it was one of the best decisions I ever made. When I first started, I was struggling emotionally and didn't know where to turn. Amber was so kind and taught me a lot. Doing yoga was a huge part of my recovery and I still practice it today. Her knowledge of anatomy is impressive and she creates a safe environment for everyone to practice. I've even been able to use what I learned from her in my work with athletes, who are very grateful for it. Through her classes, I've come to understand that yoga is a way to link the mind, body, and spirit - something that's often forgotten in other yoga classes. If you come to Rooted Yoga and learn from Amber, you'll be amazed at how good you feel both mentally and physically after one of her classes.

Fantastic experience: As a newbie to yoga, this is the only class that’s gone at a pace where I could keep up with. Amber does an excellent job explaining the proper form for the various poses.

Fantastic experience: I'm with Sarah on this one; I'm new to Yoga and the owner really puts in the effort to make you comfortable and accommodate you. She even helped me find and order the right yoga mat for me and my needs. She's great! Super personable and relatable. She isn't a snoot; and I appreciate that more than anything! She's real and that's important to me.

Fantastic experience: Because of Rooted Yoga not only am I falling in love with yoga again, I’m falling in love with myself again. It had been almost a decade since I had done yoga and I was so nervous to get back into it but from the moment I reached out to Amber to ask a few questions I knew her place would be perfect for me. Walking in to the studio you’ll see positive affirmations, daily quotes, class information, etc. I absolutely love these little messages; they give me an educated, empowered and confident feeling! Rooted Yoga has quickly become my “happy place”, the place where I feel in tune with my body and connected to my soul. Give it a try! It really is Yoga For Everyone!
