Fantastic experience: The gym is always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Playing sports through high school and basketball in college, I've worked out for over 10 years and have been through my share of training programs. Training with PFT really helped me increase my strength. I used the personal training service and in the first two months, I was stronger than I had ever been, surpassing previous personal bests on bench press/squat/leg press. My trainer worked with me on a previous injury (torn ACL) and modified a few of the exercises so I wasn't in pain. I'd highly recommend PFT for anyone who wants to get stronger, lose a few pounds, or just get familiar with the proper ways to exercise. They know their stuff!

Fantastic experience: I started at Platinum in November of 2013. Since then I've lost 30 pounds and have gotten stronger and more flexible. Not bad for someone over 50. The staff are always friendly and I have never felt uncomfortable among the other, younger, buffer clients. I never thought I'd be a gym person, but when I walk through the door I feel like I've come home.

Fantastic experience: Andrew has been training at Platinum for a number of years. He has had several trainers over that time and has done very well with each one of them. For those of you who know anyone with autism, you can imagine the challenges that these individuals face on a daily basis. As an individual living with autism, Andrew has done well at Platinum. Everyone who has worked with him has been so kind, accepting and respectful. He gets a great workout each time that he goes to the gym and I thank everyone there who interacts with him.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a nice community of members and non-intimidating environment. Has all the equipment you need, from cardio to weights, and it is never too crowded.

Fantastic experience: I have family in the area and always get a work out in while I'm there at Platinum. I have a 3 year old daughter who is an only child and requires a lot of attention. I'm super impressed with how well their childcare facility staff gave her the attention she needed. The gym is always pleasant with abundant equipment. The people are there to work out, not like LA Fitness which is loaded with a bunch of people looking to socialize and talk instead of getting in a good workout. People who live in the area are very lucky to have a gym like this available to them. I'll be back on my next family visit!

Fantastic experience: Before Platinum Health & Fitness, I never felt comfortable in a gym. They upped the ante. With a clean gym, pleasant members and a welcoming staff, Platinum has become my favorite place to spend extra time. The class offering is fantastic and there are options for almost any schedule. The staff is able to answer questions and routinely goes above and beyond. Additionally, on-site daycare makes it easy to incorporate fitness at any time. Fantastic experience: This location saved my workout day. I was denied at Planet Fitness for my heavy rope and box for elevated pushups. I called and requested to work out for the day. I explained my situation and this location gave me permission to work out with my equipment. Once I arrived this location kept their word and I was allowed to work out on the second floor. The daily fee is small. I worked out in the turf room and it was awesome and this location is very nice! If you live in this area, you should definetly check this location out.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. It is a laid back atmosphere with lovely staff. There is a variety of weights to use and very user-friendly. There is something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to reiterate how great you guys are. Every machine for the angles you need. Great dumbbell selection. Will be a long time member for sure. And for people who are complaining about the sauna.... while it WOULD be nice to have... gtfoh! You should be sweating enough from the weights you are pushing or pulling. I leave soaked every time. Fantastic experience: Platinum Fitness is the best gym in the Central PA area. I love the additional squat racks and platforms for dead lifts. There is plenty of cardio equipment so you never are waiting for a machine. The staff is super friendly and the gym is extremely clean.

Fantastic experience: Platinum fitness is a great gym that is priced very fairly, offers key access for all hours, provides everything you need weights wise, machines and also a large cardio room by level. Bonus is their sauna in both men’s and women’s bathrooms cannot go wrong here! (Staff is very helpful)

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for five years and will be for a long time. I have a personal trainer, Zach, who is amazing. He's been able to get me to where I want to be. He knows what I need and what we need to work on to make my body work for me. His skills are what I need to be in good physical shape. As for the facility, there are many options for cardio as well as free weights. Platinum has a good selection of machines for the novice to the expert to use. Platinum is definitely a plus in my world.

Fantastic experience: This gym is well-organized with most, if not all of the weight lifting/cardio equipment you could want. I have been a member here for the past several years and have been satisfied with everything from the gym lighting to kindness of the staff. Lastly, unlike certain other gyms, they make improvements as needed within the gym to ensure cleanliness and proper equipment operation.

Fantastic experience: I've tried other gyms in the area and this is by far the best between equipment, staff, and trainer personnel. I visit the gym about 5 days a week and this gym works great for my weight training. People of all ages train here from teenagers up to geriatric, and it pleases me to see. This will continue to be my go to gym. Thumbs up and keep up the good work Platinum.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for almost a year now and its been awesome! I mostly use their circuit room equipment because it's a lot easier for me to use and i love it! The cool thing is that after a week of being there, the staff greeted me BY NAME! I've never had that at any other gym. Thank you platinum for making me feel at home :)

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Platinum for several years now. They are continuously updating there machines and fixing what’s broke. It’s very clean and definitely affordable. With a great variety of machines and free weights there is no other place i will lift in Harrisburg!

From our first information gathering discussions with Samantha, to today with 4 weeks of personal training and nutrition counseling under our belt, we couldn't be happier. We have both lost weight each week, and are already noticing changes in our physique. If one month produces this type of satisfying results, we can't wait to see where we are in the weeks and months coming. We have belonged to gyms before, but have never experienced such friendly helpful, supportive people. At Platinum, the knowledgeable friendly staff are always willing to help and answer questions. Everyone is smiling and friendly, unlike our “old” gym where you were lucky if anyone even said hello. We have made a new commitment to being as healthy as possible and joining Platinum is our ticket toward reaching our fitness goal. The facility is clean, and the patrons do their part in keeping the machines/equipment sanitary after each use. There is plenty of room and state-of-the-art equipment for everyone so you don't have to spend time waiting in line. Although we've not taken any classes yet, I've seen nothing but happy, smiling people coming out at the end....so to me, that says the classes are a big “hit”. My husband and I have been working with our trainers several time per week, and what we love most is their focused attention to our individual abilities and personal fitness goals. They have customized our personal plans and not tried to apply a one size fits all “cookie-cutter” type program. Both Phil and Kyle have exhibited a genuine interest in our personal success and have proven themselves to be knowledgeable, attentive and reactive to our training and nutritional needs. No longer is working out the dreaded mundane part of our day, instead we find ourselves looking forward to the time each day when walk in and are met with a smile from the front desk staffer and can get down to business of getting fit. Thank you Platinum Health & Fitness and Performance Fitness Training for all that you do. We will keep coming back and highly recommend both Platinum and Performance Fitness Training to anyone searching for a fitness / training home - you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I went to Platinum a few years ago and re-joined the other month after going to Planet Fitness and am SO happy with the gym. It has never been cleaner and the membership rates are super cheap for all that you get. I only pay $20 a month to have the gym plus to be able to bring a guest any time I want. I'll never go back to Planet!

I have been to plenty of gyms and can usually always comment on them being less than clean and orderly but Platinum has not given me anything other than a positive experience. I refer friends and family there.
