Old Roots/New Roots Gym

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Old Roots, this is a great traditional gym. Lots of weights to throw around, great group of people, and plenty of space to get after it!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in flagstaff to get stronger! From powerlifting and strong(wo)man to general strength training this is the place and environment you want to be in!

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite gym in Flagstaff! It’s very welcoming for all levels of experience, from someone just getting into working out to athletes who compete at a high level. The gym has all the basics you need with 24hr access so you can go whenever you want. This gym also has a great community, the owner will listen to any feedback you have and there are always people willing to help and encourage you if that’s what you want! Can’t wait to be back so I can train here!

Fantastic experience: Mom here bragging on her kid. While I enjoy the setting of a group fitness class at New Roots (make sure to check them out, too.), my oldest son likes the solo workout here at Old Roots. He used the 24 hour access to train for his first strongman competition...typically training around midnight because that is what 18 year olds do. I watched an increase in his physical strength and self-confidence. I am proud that he realizes the importance of a fitness focused lifestyle. If you're looking for a gym that is focused on weight training, this is your place. And, if you see my kid, tell him he needs to pick up his mess when he gets home. (He loves this place so much, he asked for his senior photos to be taken in the squat rack!)
