Fantastic experience: Awesome gym with very friendly staff and members. The coaches are great and are clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Love the direction they take towards beginners. Not like other gyms I've been to where you are thrown in the deep end and feel completely lost. The BJJ is all no gi except for one day I believe, for anyone looking to train gi only. Overall, sad that I'm moving and will have to switch gyms. 5/5

Fantastic experience: My kids have attended the after school program, the summer camps, drop in camps, and Parents Night Out at Kaizen so you can say that we're Kaizen pros. We've had a great experience in every program we've participated in. I always feel like my kids are being well cared for and entertained. Their communication is excellent. This is a great company to do business with.

Fantastic experience: I've trained at multiple gyms throughout my career, due to my itinerant lifestyle... And I must say Kaizen MMA is the best gym that I have trained at so far. I moved to Virginia early this year, and searched the area for a gym at which I could continue my amateur career. When I visited Kaizen, I was immediately greeted by head coach, Sensei Nima, who quickly attended to all my concerns and welcomed me with open arms. The variety of classes offered here are unrivaled. If you are interested in competing as a striker, grappler, or mma fighter, the coaches will be there to support your journey and guide you. If you are just interested in fitness or self-defense, appropriate classes are offered as well. The coaches here (Ahmet, Gustavo, Bernard, Sam, etc) are accomplished competitors with plentiful experience. The vibe here is very welcoming and family-oriented. And the way classes are organized are more accommodating for those who have difficult work schedules. I highly recommend Kaizen to anyone considering or continuing any martial-arts pursuit.

Fantastic experience: Kaizen is a great place to train! ♡ I switched to kaizen from a more traditional jiujitsu school to learn in a different environment. My knowledge has really increased, and I couldn't feel more welcome. Grappling at kaizen is so much fun, and after a few months I even started Muay Thai. While bjj is the focus for me, the Muay Thai coaches are phenomenal. With multiple pro fighters and really experienced coaches to learn from, whether you're looking to just gain a new skill or be competitive, you'll definitely have no shortage of inspiration and resource here. The Jiu-Jitsu Coaches are just as experienced, and because of that they have no issues tailoring their teaching to your skill level. Also, with multiple locations, there's plenty of coaches who all have something unique to offer. Kaizen is definitely my family for me. I've had anxiety while training in the past for different reasons, but being at kaizen I've become more motivated, more skilled, and and it's literally the best part of my every day.

Fantastic experience: My story began 13 years ago when I came to Virginia from a different country. I was looking for a real martial arts dojo, not the gymnastics taekwondo places. I have done many styles, but when I checked couple of those "dancing" places I was very disappointed. Long story short I walked in Enshin Karate dojo with low expectations but my life turned around. I found a home and a father there. Sensei Nima took me under his wing and trained me, took me numerous competitions and guide me tough life. He made me a better person, gave a job he did treat me like a son. Now he gave me a business to run and owe. I am who I am today thanks to him and his dojo. He pushed me so much for training and put a lot of his personal time to train me. The best place to go and train and grow mentally and physically.

Fantastic experience: I was new to the area and was looking for a place to try out . I saw the groupon for this place and decided to go with it. It was unlimited classes of kickboxing, jujitsu and karate. I really enjoyed going to this place. All the trainers and staff are so pleasant to work with. They know what they are doing and they very professional but at the same time so personable and easy to instantly be comfortable with. The owner of the place is so kind and always takes the time to get to know everyone and help everyone out. He dedicates all his time to everyone there. I would recommend this place 100% over and over again.

Fantastic experience: Best MMA gym in DMV area. The difference between this gym and any other gyms, is that you have great instructors with real fighting experince to guide you and teach you real techniques. And whats also great is that they dont always concentrate in one aspect of the sport they’re teaching. The experiences of the instructors are very broad in terms mixing up many different exercises amd drills to make the body experience different kinds of workouts. Comparing them to just some unexpereinced guy from a regular gym who has learned some exercises that make you only lose some calories. Without any technique and knowledge of the real life situations. The gym has a great schedule put together that concentrates in all aspects of combat sports. There are grappling classes like (jui jitsu and wrestling), boxing classes, and kickboxing(karate and Thai boxing). You dont have to want to be a competitve fighter to train in this MMA gym. You can train here even if you just want to strengthen your body or mind only. You can build up your confidence to a higher level. Discipline yourself. The gym provides all the tools for you to improve in all aspects. This is the right place for anyone. I’ve been training there for 2 years and everything I said comes from my expreince I got from there.

Fantastic experience: Have two kids in Enshin Karate, a 6 year old Yellow belt and a 10 year old Green Senior. Both started out as White belts and have had an amazing time. The instructors (Sempi) work well with all ages groups and order and discipline is expected and taught It's fun and allows for both individual growth as well as team building. I highly recommend the program. Great for all ages.

Fantastic experience: It is very surportive dojo, it is like a big family.The coach train every student to reach their best, training both mental, phisical. The kids I know grew stronger and taller so fast. It help the kids’ discipline. I strongly recommend for kids activity. As an adult , in this dojo, I join two activity now, I not only learned skill what make me feel awesome, also the phisical strength help mental strength. It help to deal with dayly life pressure. I was an obese teenager with severe difficulties revolving around a disintegrating family unit. As a member you are free to train at each one of these great facilities: Fairfax, Falls Church, and Vienna, etc. Their kids/after school program is a world leader. Their staff have almost exclusively come up through their own programs. Bravo! Karate is administered by several World Champions, and kids and adults respond to, and love it equally. We are continually exposed as participants to current and former world class athletes from organizations like the UFC, who are either part of the Kaizen MMA Team, or visiting to expand and/or share their skills. Fantastic experience: Trying out new gyms is always a hit or miss these days especially in the current MMA era so I didn't know what to expect when I walked into Kaizen MMA It ended up being a very pleasant experience.
