Fantastic experience: It's a climbing gym. I could talk about the walls, employees. But its a given that they're all awesome. No complaints.

Curtis Mayott 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Lots of bouldering routes, large variety of walls, 60 foot tall also! friendly staff, nice facilities.

Sarah Wu 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going to a Movement gym with top rope, and I was blown away!!! The walls are HUGE, and their bouldering section was really nice too. Definitely more than enough space for you to climb, exercise, and hang around!

Fantastic experience: You have a lot in that one building and it isn't just climbing including an exersize gym a rope clombing area and a bouldering area. They also change ther routes of both rope and boulders so your not just climbing the same thing.

Sid Sandefur 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. So much stuff to do. Workout equipment isn't lacking. Boulder problems are varied and great. Rope sections are fantastic. Only complaint is that it's so good everyone and their whole extended family is in there from 5pm to 8pm Monday though Thursday. So packed you cannot find a parking spot and you really need to watch out below you if you're gonna fall. Please build more locations so I can work out after work.

Fantastic experience: This is my home gym of the various Movements in the area, and the one that made me cave to getting a Movement membership. Yes it’s pricey, but compared to the cost of a day pass, it’s very much so worth it if you go multiple times a week. Massive bouldering section and a large schedule of fitness and yoga classes are why I come to this location the most, but the great thing about the membership is you can go to another location whenever if you are feeling bored. I like the level of difficulty of setting here, parking is easy, and staff are always friendly. Locker rooms are massive as well. I come in the morning so it’s never crowded, can’t speak to the peak hours and how that might impact someone’s experience. My one con would be that although the sign up for yoga classes states you must be there 5 minutes early, I’ve had instructors wait until 10 after when class should start, so technically 15 minutes beyond when we should be closing the doors, as people slowly roll in. This is frustrating when you have planned for that specific hour to take the class and be away from work. But other than that, I always enjoy coming here!

Fantastic experience: Awesome facility! Just getting back into climbing and have tried many of their competitors in the area prior. Every time I step foot in this place I’m just blown away by the size of it. Very clean and well kept facility and staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually go during off hours and have plenty of space to myself. Excited to check out their other locations!

Fantastic experience: We loved the route setting and variety in wall angles and styles. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and the gym had more than enough routes for any grade of climbing. The only thing we didn't like were the top rope anchors, having the rope wrapped around a cylinder for the anchor caused a lot of unnecessary rope drag when belaying.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place so much! They have a huuuuge climbing facility. One of the biggest I've ever seen! They have a gym, yoga classes, Bouldering, and locker rooms with showers. The staff are all incredibly friendly! I go here as often as I can!

Fantastic experience: As a gym rat who lives in a truck and drives across the country stopping at every climbing gym, gotta say this is a pretty nice one. It's easily the largest gym I've ever been to, it's twice the size of a typical big gym. I only bouldered, but they set pretty hard and technical. Outstanding route setting. They have a good variety of holds and volumes, several slabs and several caves. The grading feels very accurate. They could stand to set more technical hard slab and dyno problems. The ones they had were nice, however there weren't any decent hands free slab problems. It was very busy when I got there at 5:30, with the after work crowd, but by 8:00 the cool cats came through to project the hard stuff. I settled in for the night in front of a really nice v7 with about half a dozen other people working through the beta. It was a really fun experience, definitely some of the friendliest people of any gym I've ever been to. If fate guides me to Denver, I'd be a member at Movement in a heartbeat. Cheers.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Riley and Ian, Intro to ropes class was well taught. Kind and patient teachers. Everyone at Movement is helpful, friendly and skilled. Cool place.

Fantastic experience: I loved it everyone was so nice. My family had fun and there was no judgement it you couldn't make it all the way up to the top.

Fantastic experience: I love the is gym!!! Every one is very professional, they have the tallest walls in the US, and the gym is huge, there are soooooo many routes!!

Ricky Boyer 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member since February. Routes are changed regularly. Staff is fantastic. Plenty of routes for climbing and bouldering. Along with a great workout facility.

Stacy Shelts 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Love this place! More than the abundant routes that are well kept is the super welcoming staff. As a new climber I came in shy, but my belay instructor put me at ease with his patient instruction and great attitude. I seem to meet other friendly climbers often. I always get a hello and goodbye from the front desk. Seems like people enjoy working here which is nice.

Fantastic experience: Earth Treks Englewood is a great climbing gym. The route walls here are especially tall for indoor climbing at about 60 feet, the bouldering area is huge, and the fitness area is spacious with well maintained and fairly new equipment. Members can enjoy free yoga classes, and there are also lead training and outdoor prep classes that you can pay for. I've taken a few paid classes and I've always felt I've learned from them and gotten my money's worth. The route setting here is for the most part engaging and fun. I would say the grades are a bit soft, but for the largest gym in the Denver area that isn't too surprising. Staff is across the board friendly and approachable. The gym is well kept and I feel the rotation for new sets is pretty well spaced to the point where I have time to work on projects but there's also new stuff to play on regularly enough. The $79/mo price point seemed steep to me at first. I was used my $20 chuze membership. However, after being a member for a month, I realized just how worth it the higher price of admission is. Outdoor climbing will always be my biggest passion, but Earth Treks is a great place to train and hang out. If you're thinking about joining, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, both bouldering and roped areas impress me. Avoid the typical busy times (5 PM weekdays in particular are really bad). It is great for new climbers when you bring your friends as the gym is so large there is loads of introduction routes for them to tackle.

Fantastic experience: Today I booked my first ever climb and had the pleasure of Mark as my instructor/spotter. He was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and his encouraging positive attitude really made me feel at ease. I can't believe I've never tried this sport before and thanks for making me the newest addict to the climbing family. I couldn't have been more impressed with the facility and welcoming workers. I highly, highly recommend Movement to those who are looking to try rock climbing. Thanks Movement, I'll be back

Fantastic experience: Hard to think of a better place to learn indoor rock climbing. We frequent their restorative yoga classes as often as possible! The actual gym space is enough to do most workouts, but they don't have many workout machines like other gyms.

Sarek Lee 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. Enormous and plentiful climbing walls with a huge variety of skill levels, routes and interesting themes. Their boldering area is superb too. Despite often being very crowded, I can always find a route without much waiting at all. Phenomenal gym, and great exercise over the traditional boring weight lifting.

Fantastic experience: Where else can you climb, stair master, lift AND get your yoga on? Love the management, staff members, look, feel and style. Everyone is friendly and goes out of their way to help you. Great parties and member perks. Clean facility. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Love bringing friends here!

Andy G 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: First off place is huge. They offer primarily indoor climbing experiences. But they have fitness as well like a lifting area and cardio equipment. I personally go to some of the classes they offer, which i really recommend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is kept very clean. You can rent equipment or bring your own. They only complaint I have is that the parking lot is a little chaotic. During peak hours, it fills up very quickly, and it gets a little sporty with people driving all over the place. Access to movement is pretty they are easy to find you can see the big building from us85. Fees are fairly reasonable. If you do an intro to rope climbing class, you can up to a 15 day pass so you can get some gains in during that time.

Positive experience: 25 years climbing indoors and outdoors here. I have been to many climbing gyms all over the place and this is by far one of my favorites. I have been a member for almost a year now and I love almost everything about it: The Staff is just great! Love these guys, super friendly, greet you by your name and always helpful and chatty. The routes are fun and long, the facility is awesome and in general the climbers here are nice . Definitely crowded on peak hours. My 4 star rating is because of a couple of suggestion rather than critics: 1. The route gradings feels a bit off at times. 2. The routes are too close to each other, one should be able to climb a route without waiting for the neighbouring climber to finish because it might be on your way or fear of people falling too close to you. Some routes anchors are offset quite a bit which creates a big swing if you let go of the wall on top rope, possibly interfering with your neighbour's sequence. 2. Why there aren't any autobelays? This is a great option for solo climbers, for endurance training and practicing leading and lead belaying (Perhaps in the area of the speed climbs? rarely see people using that wall. A waste of real state). 3. I'd suggest taking advantage of the converging walls to setup more dihedral type of routes with lots of small foot work off the two walls. Most routes are about the same style/sequence, steep & straight up.

Fantastic experience: Best climbing gym I’ve been to. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the walls have plenty of options, and the place is huge. Whether it’s for a day pass or monthly membership, Earth Treks Englewood is the place.

Fantastic experience: Good bouldering areas, great top roping areas. Has a great workout area for lifting/running. Only has a few showers, but the locker rooms have free electronic built in locks you can use. Coming from Pacific Pipe in Oakland CA, this place is a close second, size-wise. Still the second largest climbing gym in the US. However, it could have more bouldering, compared to double floored Pacific Pipe. But the top roping and lead climbing area is unmatched. Even has a dedicated area for belay instruction and kids / birthday parties. Overall it’s a really large and really impressive climbing gym with great route setters. Haven’t visited many of the other climbing gyms in CO, but I can already tell this one will stay at the top when I visit the other gyms. And if you want more bouldering, there are several other gyms around the area that provide just that. (I took a couple videos but it doesn’t look like Google maps allow those? So here’s a single picture of one of my favorite bouldering areas)

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for a few years and can’t said a bad word about it. My membership includes multiple gyms, yet this is really the only one I go to because it is hands down the best. The atmosphere, the climbers, the workout section, the routes…. Everything is the wonderful here. The staff are fantastic. (Some gyms I’ve found the staff can be arrogant or holier than thou but here everyone is humble and helpful). When I moved to outdoor climbing, Brent taught me how to set up and clean my anchors. Brandon spent well over an hour helping me pick out a rope and ordering it to the gym for me. I really don’t want anyone else joining because I hate crowds but this place and the staff I’ve worked with have all been amazing.

Fantastic experience: I feel like a kid in a candy store at this place. There are so many routes that are conducive to different styles of climbing. The routes are set SO well - they flow very nicely. They definitely have the best setters of all the Earth Treks/Movement in the Denver Metro area. Even when this place is crowded, it still has enough space for everyone, and I've never had to wait for a climb, granted I usually go around 4pm. The staff extremely friendly as well!

Fantastic experience: As a new climber I expected more judgemental glances, but the earth treks staff has been kind and personable every day. They remember my name and genuinely care about how I am progressing. Also the gym is huge and lovely. My favorite place.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely blown away by this rock climbing gym. It is by far the nicest one I have been to. Spacious, sparkling clean and great staff. Big bouldering area and big top rope and lead climbing space. If you are in Denver and like rock climbing, Earth treks Englewood is the place to be!!

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I love going to this gym! They have great equipment at the gym, the yoga studio is big, and so many different routes to climb. The covid19 protocols are good, yes you have to make reservations but spots are usually available! the best rock climbing gym I’ve ever been to and I’m so happy with the different locations that members have access to. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism Very neat and modern place for those who want to advance in indoor rock climbing. Very pleasant front desk staff, clean facility, great climbing design.

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a gym! This is definitely one of the best gyms I've ever been to! As it is such a huge gym there is a disadvantage in that parts don't get reset in quite a long time, otherwise it's a phenomenal place. It's got really friendly staff, a nice selection of shoes chalk, harnesses or other climbing equipment you may need. Again I think this gym is amazing and well worth checking out!

Lane Parsons 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best gyms in the Denver area, and has a great staff! Huge walls with lots of interesting variations, and are well set. When on lead, there are a lot more clips than Movement, so just something to be aware of. Also love that they have a huge range of routes, from beginner walls all the way to 5.14+ on the pitched walls. Thanks ET!

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, incredible selection of climbing walls, and great customer service. Facility is VERY clean and extra sanitation is being done during covid. There is plenty of parking. Going early in the morning will allow for a quieter climbing experience with fewer people. Climbing shoes and chalk available for rent. Bathrooms have lockers available however they cannot be used during COVID.

Fantastic experience: I love just about everything at Earth Treks. It has so many climbing routes ranging in difficulty, that it truly has something for every skill level. The same thing can be said about their bouldering. The facility is always clean and the staff is always friendly but sometimes inattentive. The routes/problems are changed about every month so there is always something new and rarely do the routes get stagnant with over-chalked, dingy, slippery holds. I wish the same could be said about Golden Earth Treks. A few critiques I have are very minor in the big picture but I feel there is always room for improvement. It would be nice if the purple lead ropes were as nice as the gold lead ropes. There is definitely a difference in the ropes and the gold ones are better. It would also be nice if the days they are open late, until 23:00, could shift from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lastly, the parking lot is heavily criticized as it should be. It would be nice if the lot was redesigned so parking isn’t such a hassle. Overall I feel it’s worthy of 5 stars and I highly recommend this place. It’s for anyone who is going for their first time to seasoned experts. I hope you have fun and climb on!

Fantastic experience: This place has it all, from cardio to yoga, weight racks to you name it. We joined for expansive climbing area which beats the 5pm rush.

Matthew Fagan 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: One of the most epic climbing gyms in the USA. It’s a bit expensive but well worth it. Tons of amenities and things to do. The staff is very helpful and genuinely cares about climbing and helping others. Go already!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 2 months now and it still amazes me every time I walk in the door. The environment is immediately friendly and welcoming even if you are new to climbing. The staff is very knowledable and did a fantastic job with the belay class. When I took my lead certification the staff member was great at helping me brush up on my skills even though i was qualified enough to pass. The rock walls are jaw dropping, so many options and even with big crowds at peak hours I’ve never had to wait to climb. I haven’t tried the workout area as the climbing is too addicting. It looks clean and very well kept. Whether you are new to climbing or training for the next big multi pitch this gym is fantastic. I’m proud to call this place my climbing gym!

David Cincotta 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: The gym is amazing! Large fitness center with plenty of equipment. It is clean and well maintained. The yoga and fitness studios are also great. The classes are good and not too big. The climbing itself is amazing. Huge bouldering section and a breathtakingly massive ropes area. The routes are reset and changed fairly regularly so it’s not always the same thing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall the best climbing gym I’ve ever had a membership at.

Christopher Bell 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: I joined earth treks two months ago and have been climbing multiple times a week. They have a wide variety of boulder problems for all skill levels. I was new to climbing when I joined and have thoroughly enjoyed my introduction to the sport. They have plenty of free classes for members and other services which you’ll enjoy. Their gym facilities are above average and provide you with the diversity that you’d expect from a typical gym. There is a genuinely good vibe at this place that you’ll enjoy. You can tell that they’re genuinely trying to build a community of climbers. There’s a diverse group of people coming to this gym. Older and younger, fit and not so fit, skilled and newbies. You’ll fit in no matter the group. If you’re looking for that stereotypical bouldering crowd you’ll only find it here during the evening. The buddy passes are a nice perk however I wish you got more of them. You only receive 6 per year and I can already see them going by fast. I’ve brought two friends to the gym who subsequently purchased memberships. It would be nice if there was a referral program where your buddy passes could be reloaded for bringing earth treks new business.

Craig Schuemann 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: The best climbing gym I’ve been to. Even when it’s busy, you can still find routes to climb due to the sheer size and number of options. If you do the lead certification then another 30% of the climbing space opens up as well. And that’s not even mentioning the Bouldering or Fitness areas. Tons of options for all abilities and a super helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: What a big facility, ample parking. Great open facility that offers a wide selection of retail, kids room, roped climbing, bouldering, training, yoga and more!

Fantastic experience: Lives up to the hype. Best rock gym in America. Friendly knowledgeable staff that is willing to help, and I like that they have already added new routes just sense opening in September.

Fantastic experience: Great climbing spot $22 for a full day guest. Lots of workout equipment. Showers in the bathrooms. Cool options for climbing, buddy climbs, routes that light up and you can choose your climb through an iPad

Fantastic experience: This gym is incredible. So many spaces and phenomenal staff. I have 2 young children (4 and 5) and the instructors were SO amazing with them. Honestly, I wish more companies would hike employees like them. Kind, engaged and wanting to share their passion with others....even when they are 4/5. Loved the experience here.

Danielle Carr 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing!! It is the largest indoor climbing wall facility in the nation! The gift store is impressive. They have a fitness area and climbing walls around the entire place! I can't wait to take my family to this location. We will be visiting often.

Rich Brilli 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: As an EarthTreks Golden member, I’ve been waiting for this gym to open since early summer and it’s been so worth the wait!! Amazing, gigantic space for bouldering, ropes climbs, and fabulous array of gym equipment. It’s so refreshing to have enough room in a bouldering area to spread out and not wait in line for climbs! The holds are all fresh and grippy, and the problems are super creative. Wish there were more cave/overhang areas, but that’s just my preference... there’s a wide array of features and grades for any level climber! I’ve seen V0-V13 in the bouldering area so far :) COME CLIMB!!!
