Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I haven’t lifted in years and was nervous to start weight lifting and conditioning again. It’s intimidating to start a new gym like this, not TSM. The couches and other gym members were welcoming and encouraging since my first session. Ive done the group fitness class x3 a week and I’ve seen such an improvement in just few months. I Iove that everyday/week is structured and programmed to help increase your strength. It’s fun when you reach max week and see how much strength you’ve gained. Deadlifts/squats/bench is done once a week with a conditioning circuit. Then there’s a HIIT/cardio style circuit x2 a week. If you’re thinking about it..just try it! Your first 3 sessions are free :)

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend for all powerlifters if you workout at commericals gym and if you hate the bars, plates or vibe at your gym. Strength Movement is a great, clean, and motivated place to go too espically when you wanna compete as well the coaches will give you advice. If you wanna start your fit lifestyle as well the classes here are really awesome, the workouts are intense and the coaches will push you if you think about giving up. The facility is pretty good size, you have powerlifting section and anothet section where the coaches have there class and another for crossfitters as well. If you ever come dow and give the gym a try you will feel like you belong here and wont be dissappointed when you step in.

Fantastic experience: TSM incorporates programs that not only help strength-wise, but cardio-wise as well. Before TSM, I would go to the gym and do workouts that help with one, maybe two muscle groups. Since joining, the program combines different muscle groups into one workout; in order to get the best workout possible. The program also combines both cardio and strength training so you’re not doing one or the other. It’s the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! AMRAP workouts are big here. Coaches set up circuits and the goal is to finish as many workouts per round within the given timeframe. When I first started, I could barely get past the first round. After two months here, I’ve been able to finish my workouts and see results!

Fantastic experience: The coaches at The Strength Movement are very supportive and do their best to assist the other members, which is very fortunate. Everyone there is encouraging and helpful with each other, not to mention very friendly. The environment is amazing and the workout equipment is really good to use. From personal experience, The Strength Movement is a great way to lose weight and feel better inside and out. I am apart of the youth program and it has changed my life for the better. I would most definitely recommend trying this gym.

Fantastic experience: Joining the strength movement is easily one of the best choices I’ve made. I play high school football and the training I get here specifically helps me for that sport. Playing football can be very tiring since it’s all about the speed and strength you have. During games I’d always be tired and trying to catch my breath play after play. My school does all uptempo offense, no breaks, so you can only imagine how tired I’ll be running all the time. Now that I’ve joined TSM I’m able to play the sport with out trying to catch my breathe all the time. Also they helped me build enough strength so I won’t be tackled down as easy as before, and to be able to handle anything that’s coming my way.

Fantastic experience: This place really rocks! I had tried other training facilities before this one and I would always end up quitting after a few days. I felt as though the “trainers” only cared about bringing people in and having people be on crazy unhealthy diets so they can seems successful. But here they really work with u and build u up to be successful. If u have a limitation they modify for you and never make u feel as though u are failing if u can’t do what the others are doing. Classes are throughout the day so they really can work with any schedule and classes are small so they can really work on form and technique to make sure there are no injuries. When i first started it was really hard to do squats especially with weights due to a deformity in my knees. When i let them know they made a program for me build up my stamina for squats and within 3 weeks of work and doing band work at home i was able to accomplish my first weighted squat. I have never been more proud of myself. It’s also a very fun environment the trainers are hilarious and it’s definitely a place to work out but also blow off some steam with a combination of hard work and serious laughs. If u want to be successful in working out and progress and a healthy pace and really see some results come here it’s the best place for people of all ages, sizes, and stamina.

Fantastic experience: Joe and Eryka are awesome, I love TSM!!! I need two knee replacements and they modified all my workouts to help me get the exercise i desperately needed before my surgeries... both are dedicated trainers who helped me gain strength and mobility during my 21 day trail... I highly recommend TSM to everyone ; j

Fantastic experience: When we moved into Cypress in March of this year me and my teenage son were looking for a gym that offers interval (circuit) classes. We tried the FBBC as that is the fitness chain we used to go to in Burbank. Because this review is not about them I would simply say it was a disaster and we didn't step another foot there. Then we gave Camp Transformation a try and we felt like a herd of a hundred sheep, one instructor, all cramped into this small space with no time to ask questions, get the proper form and smacking or getting smacked by those around you. We left 15 minutes into the class. Then we tried another very well respected gym in the area but we could not afford their prices. We finally found "The Strength Movement", which is run by Joe and Eryca. They offer open gym if you are into weight lifting and circuit classes if you are like me. My son and I did 2 trial classes and we were hooked. The facility is large so people are not cramped up. Joe and Eryca plan all the sessions so every day we are working on a different muscle group. They give you enough time to find the needed weights for every one of the workouts so once we start we don't waste time for changing out the weights and figuring out what works and what doesn't once the clock is ticking. I also love that this is the first gym I have been to that emphasizes warm ups and these must be done before the circuit begins. Another positive is the condition of the equipment is excellent and everyone seems to understand the importance of wiping down and putting equipment back so the gym space feels very well organized and maintained. Another plus is that the big doors are always open getting fresh air in and some of the circuit exercises, such as running, take place OUTSIDE. I despise running on a treadmill so this is a huge plus for me. The sessions are conducted in small groups so there is a lot of attention from the instructions on proper form. If the instructor sees we are not challenged he or she would go and switch our weights for something heavier thus encouraging us to get a bit heavier every week. Finally, being a girl, I notice things like clean bathroom facilities as that speaks tons about the management of the gym. Parking is plenty and has never been an issue so far. I strongly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: This place has got heart. I enjoy every single session and each coach there. Minus my body being on fire for the endurance of the work out of course. They've got tons of equipment, the place is kept clean, and Joe & Eryka are all about pushing you to your limits with assistance in acclimation. Get down with them and you won't be disappointed.
