Fantastic experience: I first attended MMAFFC around December when I was helping my brother search for a good gym for Jiu-jitsu in the Clarksville area. After a few gyms, we settled on this gym because of how friendly the team was, the good technique that is taught there and the good people that train there. 6 months later and my brother is still here and he still likes it. I live far out of town, but when I come into town to visit family, the gym owner lets me visit with no issues at all and it is great to see their people. Their open mats are great as well. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the area for sure.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional place to learn jiu-jitsu and more! My oldest kid is training here and was very nervous. Coach Don set her at ease and after the first trial class she couldn't wait to come back. Reasonable price, no contracts, great atmosphere... this is a must if you need a confidence boost for your kids!

I stopped in to catch a couple bjj classes and I couldn't have been more happy with the knowledge and the attention to detail that Coach Don has. Safety is a priority. Coach Don works to ensure that his students learn and practice bjj in a safe way. I will definitely train here again.

Fantastic experience: My son just started 3 weeks ago and has been obsessed since then! They are very welcoming and family oriented! All the coaches are so amazing and they make sure each child feels like a part of the class! My son has caught on so quickly and wants to go every day! Everyday he goes he learns so much! I highly recommend them for children and adults!

Fantastic experience: I have my daughter in the little warriors jujitsu class here for about 6 months now and I love this place! The owner is a great guy who is very professional and passionate about setting his students up for success at any age. The female coaches that work with the kids really do have a gift with every student that walks through that door. I love the family friendly environment and the life lessons and friendships my daughter has made here!

Fantastic experience: In town for a few days and took a friend to his very first grappling class. Don, and his students are very welcoming and accommodating. They live a total warrior lifestyle, they practice the art and understanding the psychology. I hope to be back sometime soon!

Fantastic experience: My daughter wanted to try martial arts ,switching from a dance back ground . They all made her feel so welcome . She loves every class and her grades have even came up . The excercise is great for her ! We feel like a big family. Love coach Don & Coach Kim.

Fantastic experience: Great school. Love the owners, coaches, and community. Extremely flexible and reasonable with prices and programs. Coaching techniques and styles are varied and adjusted differently for everyone's own needs. For the kid and youth program, coaches are patient with students while teaching discipline and confidence. Love it!

Fantastic experience: Coach Don is great! He’s a patient instructor who creates a superb atmosphere in which young children can learn the basics. He’s very military friendly, not making you sign a contract. That’s huge for military families. I would sign up for the adult classes but his females would make me look bad, so I can’t do that. Great place.

Fantastic experience: This is by far that best Jiu Jitsu gym in the Clarksville, TN and Fort Campbell area! Coach Don does a fantastic job of keeping his students focused. He and his fellow instructors teach the kids in a fun way that allows them to retain the basic Jiu Jitsu skills and promote physical activity and builds strength of character. Modern Martial arts also has classes for teenagers that pushes them and allows them to have those vital self defense skills learned in a safe and controlled environment. Not to mention the adult class he conducts that allows for beginners to more advanced higher belt color students. His prices are great compared to some of the other more expensive gyms in the area. I would suggest anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu, kick boxing, or self defense to come in and check out this awesome school.

I am so happy they found something that they love but also gives them valuable skills for self defense. They are also patient with those of us trying to get back into shape. They make working out fun.
