Positive experience: Great community, good equipment but the bathrooms sometimes are not clean.

Positive experience: They try to make it look better than it is with the turf and TRX stuff but a lot of the machines are busted and the dumbbells are really old with chunks missing from it. Same with the plates. Gets the job done but nothing crazy.

Positive experience: It's a good gym if you just take care of your billing on time and dont have to get a hold of someone there. Its open 24/7, so in my opinion, I would rather call them 6 times If I forget to change the card on my billing than have limited hours especially that my job does require my attention 24/7 as well so hourly flexibility is a sale point. Its clean enough for the area its in, and they do offer desinfecting spray and towels. Verity of machines and weights, but bring your own clips if you use barbells in your workout.

Fantastic experience: I have gone in as a guest on a few occasions. My experience was very positive. They have a variety of equipment, good music, clean environment. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Dennis, the manager, does a great job and Nick ,staff member, was very accommodating.There's a good supply of cleaning equipment to use on the equipment before and after you work out. Some equipment may need replacement soon but that is to be expected when there is so much usage. If feel like that should be addressed by corporate and not fall on the staff. Overall, a great environment to work out in.

Positive experience: The gym is starting to show it's age. The mats are old, some of the machines do not work. I hope they start replacing some soon.

Negative experience: When will the Stair masters be fixed? Almost all except MAYBE 2 work. It’s been forever.

Negative experience: SH!TTY gym! Unclean, equipment is not taken care off, kids who don’t pay the membership come in and out and it’s unfair to those who DO pay. This place is always PACKED. This gym should not be 24hrs if anyone can just come in and out. Bathrooms are disgusting. Yoga mats are disgusting. Padding and handle grips on machines are nearly nonexistent. How is this place still open?!

Negative experience: With in the last 3 years, this gym has really declined. It’s always dirty, the bathrooms smell horrible and are never clean, the turf patch is moldy, there’s trash everywhere, and there is a lot of defective equipment that doesn’t get cycled out, like bent barbells. On top of that, there’s always high school kids smoking and vaping in the bathrooms, and sometimes they’re wrestling in the middle of the gym. The workers seem to not care because I never see them at least address the smoking or the wrestling. As if the underage smoking in a public gym wasn’t bad enough, Sometimes, if you go early enough in the morning, there’s a homeless person in the gym. It’s just an overall horrible gym at this point. I wish I was making up this stuff.

Negative experience: I am astonished that a gym such as this is still in business. During my time at this gym I have experienced many danger hazards and unhygienic standards. To start I believe that a gym should maintain the cleanliness of their establishments to the best of their abilities. When you enter the gym restrooms be prepared to walk into one of the most foul smelling and dirtiest restrooms. To top it off the gym has managed to not maintain a certain standard for this situation. Next is the gym equipment. For the most part the equipment is not entirely clean but you can manage a good workout. The down side is weights are limited in my opinion. And the bars and bench pads are damaged. Many machines lack the material on the handles. Plus side they have kettlbells and turf. Be warry of walking barefoot in the restrooms have heard the most outrageous stories.

Negative experience: Its hard to take this gym serious. People sit on the machines and just chill. you have to wait for them to to take selfies and play on their phone before they get up and finish. Guys take up 2-3 machines at a time but only really work on one at the busiest time of the day. Nobody re-racks the weights, its like kiddy hour. No gym etiquette. Used to be my favorite gym very disappointed. I started coming at night and have observed Homeless people and underage kids and non members are being let in during the late night/early morning hours. They fall asleep on machines and in the front entrance and some even eat out of the garbage cans once they come inside. Garbage is all over the place. Safety is a huge concern. **Update Months later...Just like one of the reviewers said, if you're not a member somebody will open the door and let anyone in. Here is another guy asleep in the massage bed. Don't go when it rains. Check out all photos.

Negative experience: Variety of equipment but you can tell it's in need of some TLC. Quiet crowd midday weekend. Got in and out.

Negative experience: They charge you 15.00$ if you let someone else in which is understandable. They send you the video also to prove you let them in. They charged me 15.00$ for letting someone in, but the video shows otherwise. I came in, door closed and 10-20 seconds later someone else came in. I did not let them in, but they still charged me 15.00$?. This gym used to be a good place to work out, but lately it has gone downhill. I have seen multiple people let others in and treat the gym like they own it. There’s homeless people coming and going as they please. I’d recommend either going to 71st CFX, cancel membership or work out at home.

Negative experience: Whoever was working on 9/13 must've had Friday night plans. They were telling people to leave at 4pm even though the hours listed are 24/7?

Negative experience: I like what this gym could be. They have all the equipment I need, and there's lots of space. Not too crowded when I'm here. The problem is there is so much maintenance needed. Everything is falling into disrepair and of only there was some regular maintenance on things it would be great. Could be cleaner too, but that's not as big of a deal as equipment slowly becoming unusable.

Positive experience: The place and equipment are okay. I like the vibe the gym gives, maybe just a little bit better cleaningness besides that for the price is a top 4/5

Fantastic experience: Don’t have a membership? Don’t you worry! Someone will let you in! I do not own a membership but have always somehow managed to get inside this location . Whoever is running this place needs to take more responsibility on running this business. Gym is so filthy and so dusty . Half of the machines are either broken , worned out or just dirty. I posted on here a while back showcasing blood on their punching bag . BLOOD. And I also documented pictures of the facility dirty not to mention the bathroom filled with dust and urine stains from DAYS ago. This location has really gone downhill . All my pictures have been reported or taken down I wish the manager or whoever is running this place would take the feedback and use it for the better rather than deleting and ignoring feedback from loyal members on here! I will be making a visit to this CFX again and will also be documenting an update on this location.

Negative experience: *TRIPLE CHECK THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IS CANCELED* I came to this gym in 2022 and canceled IN person once I decided to leave this place, signed the cancellation. I never checked if it went through because I signed with my signature and went in person so I didn’t think too much of it. Tell me why I check my credit score report 11/2023 and it DROPPED due to the employees at that time didn’t cancel the subscription properly when I went to cancel it. So now my credit is damaged and I had to pay a sum amount to for DELINQUENCY?? I tried to dispute it but failed due to not having proof. Insane how lack of training can do so much damage. Learning lesson: Make sure that you have proof via email that your subscription is canceled.

Negative experience: Wish male/female staff are constantly cleaning male/female washrooms/ locker rooms and an employee always at the desk. 3 of the stair masters don’t work and half the treadmills have broken plastic on the handles and treadmills sometimes stop when your using them. Honestly just buy new machines all the gym equipment feels pre owned and on their last leg especially paying $16.00 a month it’s like what do they do with all money it can’t all be going to utilities

Positive experience: I've been coming to CFX Pulaski for over a month. I moved here from Sarasota FL and I've been looking for a good gym. I thought I had found it. I always come after 9 p.m. when the gym is less crowded. But even then, the gym is getting over run by teenagers who are obviously not there to work out. They sit on the machines. Talking with their friends for 20-30 minutes. Without even using the machines. I will ask them if they are using it and they reply, yes we're using it. I can't speak for the rest of your customers, but I come to the gym to work out. Im focused. And the environment in your gym isn't allowing for that. Please, check your cameras and see the problem. Maybe set up some rules and/or guidelines to make it more fair to your customers who are actually coming to use the equipment properly. I thank you in advance for your help in this matter. Negative experience: Too many handsome, spiffy, hot men. You’re definitely gonna leave the building with a pump, Im not talking bout chest.

Negative experience: All the major machines need to get fix it, mostly all the machines are out of order from more than a month I don't understand why don't they fix it. Very unsafe and bad customer service I've ever seen in any gym.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars, I would. To start off as a mom of two and currently pregnant again, cleanliness is something I pay incredible attention to and this gym certainly meets ALL of those criteria’s. Equipment is always sanitized, bathroom always smells fresh & I never find trash in there, towels are always there when you need one, etc. I came in one day to find staff moving equipment and cleaning under it- talk about paying attention to detail!!! Staff is always attentive to questions I may have about training, equipment, billing, hours- it’s always nice to see & have those friendly faces to help out! I have the $26 all access , this includes 24 access which helps this mama out A TON. Leon and Baylee run this establishment and all I can say is - they mean business and run an absolute TIGHT ship. Which I certainly appreciate ,I’ve been to almost every gym in the Chicagoland/suburb area trying to fit my needs of a crazy schedule and this gym has met every point on my check list. I cannot thank them enough for all they do at this gym. Being a full time mom is already hard enough, but they make my hour of free time a true vacation from home! When entering the gym I was nervous for what I might experience, but on my first day there Baylee had given me a full tour and introduced me to some trainers that were on staff that day and I never felt so at home & at ease!!!!!! Their staff always helps me out WHENEVER I need help and this speaks the highest levels of respect to me. Kudos to CFX on Pulaski!!! This mom has gotten back into shape after two kids and their trainers are helping me STAY in shape through this pregnancy! Like I mention, if I could give more stars, I would!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Disappointing! I would give 0 stars if I could. They do not treat their staff well. Ripping off the trainers and taking their clients and proceeds. Would not recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I left ESPORTA and found this gem of a gym in the neighborhood. Baylee was very welcoming and helpful my first day there. The gym has everything you need. I definitely recommend CFX on 54th.

Fantastic experience: Was visiting this location while I was in town from TN. Baylee and Leon were so welcoming. Leon gave me a fantastic tour as well as received a complementary training session from Baylee who was extremely professional and nice . If you’re ever in town I recommend you visit this location . Ask for Baylee and she will definitely take care of you . 10/10 recommend

Negative experience: Staff is nice, but management isn’t fair to their employees. I can’t imagine supporting a gym that treats trainers like scums while they keep all the money to themselves. Shameful location with a scammy way of internal operations. Talk about a pyramid scheme.

Negative experience: Ordered for pick up an online special $10 for 8 pcs of chicken dark meat 4 thighs & and 4 legs an order of their gravy and an order of fries the legs were so small I've seen chicken wings bigger $1.69 for the gravy it wasn't even a cup full and the fries I didn't care for them I don't think I will order from the again I'll have to go to Popeye's farther from me KFC is 4 blocks from my house I know things are not doing so good right now but for $17 I think I should get food worth paying for and they seal the bag that you can't even open it to check the order. dissatisfied and disappointed are the words to hungry to take the order back

Positive experience: Breath of fresh air. Decided to start coming here today after being discouraged with Ford city. So far so good. My only issues are the bathroom and overall gym can do some tidying up. Especially the bathroom! The bathroom needs some TLC!! if they get the cleaning down pat this place will be a solid 5/5. I still have some discovering to do so let's see what happens.

Positive experience: Good work out place so far, good music and good vibe from staff…. Only thing is the bathrooms and locker room is not as clean as they said they were. The toilets are horrible and smell really bad.

Negative experience: The staff is nice, but the problem I have is the people at the gym are on their phones while on the machine/ benches. The weights aren’t reracked, you also have people talking a lot/ clowning around, and on the phones more than working out. It’s ridiculous seeing people on their phones while you’re at a gym supposedly working out.

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best ever. It is clean, organized, and has the best staff. I was 500 lbs before I started coming here. Thanks to everyone here (shout out to Bailey, Leon, Ladis, and George) I lost 200+ lbs.

By far it’s been nothing but a great experience during this new process of mine; from the personal trainers, to the staff and managers. Negative experience: If you have pre existing medical conditions and/or have not been vaccinated, I caution you to be careful coming here to workout. You could be in danger of possibly contracting covid 19. On March 12th, 2021, roughly 2pm, I began my workout, and there were two people standing up talking for a good 15 mins or so, neither wearing a mask, even though there are signs posted stating masks are mandatory. I told the "supervisor" and he said he would go and talk to them. He never did. The janitor just happened to be walking by, so I asked him if there was any other supervisor or manager on the premises. He told me there was not. I told him the reason why I was asking, and pointed out the unmasked guest who was still there and working out. Thankfully, the janitor told that guest that he must wear a mask. It's disappointing that the so called supervisor flat out lied. Instead of following through with my complaint, he kept eating his lunch.

Fantastic experience: The Morning staff is extremely nice and the gym is always clean. Became more of a fan after I started taking the classes there! Dina and the rest of the coaches really push you to go above & beyond what you think you can do.

I speak from experience.Leon the gym's manager leads a well balanced team of courteous, competent and motivated professionals to take on any challenges. Don't be fooled by Dina's size. She's a knowledgeable and passionate fitness trainer that'll provide proper guidance to meet your fitness goals. Highly recommend Dina and this gym.

Fantastic experience: Everyone has been super great since the moment I signed up for a membership here. I got Dina as a personal trainer and she was right there every step of the way encouraging me and showing me how to do things properly. Kept me motivated and she knows what she’s doing! Would definitely recommend this gym and Dina as a trainer.

Fantastic experience: I was excited to see a gym open near my home. Leon, the manager there is very friendly and encouraging. He has a wonderful staff of friendly faces. After a few months of contemplating personal training I approached Dina who at first looked intimidating and I wasn’t sure I was ready for the challenge. It turned out to be one of the best experiences and she got me into the best shape of my life. Wish I can say I kept it up on my own but she is still there willing and ready to encourage me and hold me accountable in her honest, tough but kind manner. I’ve started working out again. I’m so appreciative to her and the other personal trainers who have helped me either one on one or in their excellent weight’s and boxing classes. Thank you Leon and all your charter staff for your friendly service to me , my family and our community.

Negative experience: I went in person here October 2019 to cancel my membership. I signed the paperwork and was assured the fees would be gone within a few months It is now March 2020 and I am still being charged. I was a member at the location on Ashland and archer in Bridgeport. It no longer exists, and I don’t even go to the gym at 54th and Pulaski. The only time I occupied that space was when I was there for the cancellation.
