OOA Gymnastics

Negative experience: Would not recommend for a kid’s birthday party. Young hostesses barely said two words to us the whole time and were cleaning out the party room before we were even out of there (prior to our time being up). Another lady working was clearly annoyed with our five year old (excited) girls as she whispered “oh my” very rudely under her breath. Did not feel welcomed at all.

Fantastic experience: Our son age six is on the competitive team at OOA, it is evident that the coaches care for each child. They consistently work with him at his level and still allow him to have fun, I am so grateful we have such a great boys gymnastics program in Bend!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional coaching, and wonderful environment for my 11 year old daughter. She is thriving in the OOA program. Learning skills is just one aspect of the program...the mental toughness and life skills (setting goals, hard work, team work) are invaluable! Thank you, Mohini for all you do for the OOA athletes!

Fantastic experience: We've moved around quite a lot since my daughter started gymnastics and have now settled in Bend, OR. We checked out all the gyms in the area before deciding where to send our daughter who has been in gymnastics/tumbling since she was 2. She is now 10. Mohini who is well publicized for being the captain of the 2004 Women's Gymnastics Olympic Team has now opened her own business and we are so happy she did. Not only does she give world class instruction to our daughter but she pushes her to be the best person she can be as well. My daughter thinks the world of her and we really enjoy having her there. Another great aspect to the way Mohini runs the business is her ability to keep gymnastics fun for the girls while maintaining the balance of respect for coaches, adults, and teammates. It's a fine line when dealing with young impressionable minds and I can honestly say if you are considering a gym and are in Central Oregon or moving to Bend or Redmond you owe it to yourself as a parent to call Mohini or give a visit to OOA.

Fantastic experience: Both of our sons have had birthday parties here and they have been great experiences. The gym staff always communicated clearly with us, called the week of our party to confirm that we were still coming and how many kids we were planning on having so they could staff accordingly and have the gift bags ready. The staff helps with the kids on the floor and provides the space and gift bags- all we needed to bring was our birthday treat. I would highly recommend OOA as a great place for birthday parties!

Fantastic experience: It was good open gym was nice not many kids only two people out so it doesn’t feel helicopter like also it was organized very well

Positive experience: I have had kids going there for 5 years now. The coaches are fairly good, but follow up and communicating when it comes to the business end is lackluster at best. The office staff does not put much effort into customer relations and does not care if you are a repeat customer or get lost in the shuffle.
