Fantastic experience: Super old school ! Loved it!

Fantastic experience: Great hard knocks gym staff very friendly and just about any equipment!

Negative experience: Use to go to Hank’s Gym in my younger years and back in 2012 to 2016 the boxing section even though it was expensive at least it wasn’t block/closed off only being accessible with a personal trainer. Originally you can just go in there same as the regular section of the gym. I called in more recently and came to find out about this information which is unfortunate to hear. The person on the phone at first wasn’t being really helpful with information till I called another day and spoke to someone else. Had to leave a review with 2 stars for poor service. Would love it if the boxing gym was open to the public again like back in the day when Frank Tate was there and based certain reviews seems a lot are displeased with the treatment and accessibility to the full gym. Which is saddening to read about.

Fantastic experience: Visited the gym. Has all the necessities. Not a glamorous gym for people who need things to new and perfect. Full of iron, what makes muscles grow. This gym is for people who are serious about training. There may not always be someone at the front to assist you, because they may be helping someone. You need to be a self starter, not for the timid who need tours. The locker rooms are adequate. The regulars are friendly. Weights are racked and benches were clean. The price is higher for most gyms but it keeps the high schoolers out. If you want a gym where 5 people is average then this is the place.

Fantastic experience: I trained at Hank's for many years. It was a no frills gym for serious and professional bodybuilders. Hank Breaker was a no nonsense gym owner, there every day. Big Dorothy Herndon worked at the desk, and Billy and several other big guys, myself included, trained there daily. "No slamming the weights when putting them back on the rack, that means you Tim". A classic handwritten warning taped to the mirror by Hank. I miss the hell out of training there...24 hr is a sad substitute.

Fantastic experience: I've been in this gym several times already. The equipment is great and complete. And the instructors always accommodate to my needs. I highly recommend this place for those who want to develop physical fitness.

Negative experience: I called to ask for information as I was interested in joining and they didn’t help at all and I asked if I could tour the facility and he said yes and then I confirm that I can go anytime and he confirms. I then go in Saturday morning, and still not helpful. It was the most awkward experience, I go in and this whole group of men working out just stop as if I was interrupting their session, and then the guy comes over and I let him know I would like more information and he talks fast and I don’t understand what he’s saying, doesn’t offer for me to tour the facility or anything. The atmosphere in there was so uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. They could’ve had an easy sale, but oh well.

Negative experience: I was looking to join and had questions on the membership. I had asked for the owner to return my call several times, but never heard from him. The information on their website is also inacurate. The spinning bikes are not accessible to the gym goers. They are in a sepearte building and can't be used unless with a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: No frills and very reasonably priced gym. Unlike bigger name brands, I'm never fighting for machines or being pressured into expensive annual fees. You can do anywhere from month-to-month, to 3 month, 6 months, or a year and there's no hassle. Gym is small but the quality of clientele speaks for itself-- from sports celebrities and Rolls Royce drivers, down to high school students and retirees. All are welcome at Hank's.

Fantastic experience: Hank's was home right from the beginning. Mr. Ken always made me feel welcomed. Gym is bright and has a breezy vibe. Equipment is well maintained and trainers are top notch. I worked with Darryl Bush who is a great at what he does. Tim Boutte who is a Master of his craft. I would bike 9 miles each way just to go to Hank's. The other gym guests are very friendly and also very encouraging. Mr. Ken runs a fantastic gym and really sets the bar high on how a gym should be: Loving and encouraging. Changing one's body is not easy but at Hank's you will Never feel alone.

Positive experience: Equipment is too crowded for the size gym. Not enough aerobics equipment. No quiet space to stretch and warm up. Needs a renovation. Good free weights section. Great personal trainers.

Fantastic experience: Great gym never have to wait to use machines during a workout. Best trainers in the world Tim Boutte is amazing I've been there for over a year now consistently and love it only gym I've been to where there is a neck machine! Private, great location I would definitely recommend it to any body young to old, athletes any body also boxers has a full boxing gym as well! God Bless !

Negative experience: Equipment is super old. I'm from Denver and I have been to some old school gyms. But this is like 1980s equipment. 68 per month.. Hell no.

Positive experience: Friendly environment

Fantastic experience: Great no frills gym for a great price. A year long membership runs for $50/month and this place has all the equipment you'll need. This gym isn't all that busy either and I don't find myself ever waiting to use a power rack or bench. Compared to other options in the area this is by far the best. Only downside is the more limited hours(only open until 7 and 4 respectively Saturday and Sunday), but I imagine that helps keep the monthly price so low and it's no issue with some planning.

Negative experience: Manager is extremely rude over the phone - won't be visiting.

Positive experience: I started going to Hank's Gym back in April because my trainer worked out there. I like it. Most people are in there working out and not talking and holding up the machines. They have a lot of different equipment to help you get to where you want to be. They also sell protein shakes and water for your convenience.
