Elite Mixed Martial Arts - Baytown

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love our Elite MMA - Baytown family! My husband and son (6) have been training at Elite for a little more than a year now and I started a few months ago myself. All of the coaches are nothing short of AWESOME and it is obvious by the attention and focus they give to each student that every single coach loves teaching jiu-jitsu. The flexibility of the schedule is great, too! They have classes M-Th for the kiddos and M-F for the adults, so if you can't make it one day, you have other days to make up for it. The cherry on top is that the gym is super clean!

Fantastic experience: Elite MMA has been my BJJ gym since moving to the area. It feels like a family. We push each other to improve and learn each and every session and look forward to coming back since it is so welcoming. As someone new to any kind of combat sport (boxing/muy thai/MMA/BJJ) I'm glad Elite MMA is close enough I can come to almost every single class! I highly recommend Elite MMA for anyone looking to get into BJJ or muy thai or even someone just looking to get a little more in shape.

Fantastic experience: So far, I couldn’t be happier or more grateful with what my son is learning. I feel the coaches do an awesome job at teaching my child discipline and respect, he is a small child about to enter preschool and I feel like this class is a tool for his future success. With everything getting so expensive I have seen this more as an investment because it is truly helping me out, they are taught manners, discipline, focus, etc. Well worth it, so glad I took the leap. I recommend to anyone who needs to build confidence. Along with my CrossFit class it adds to my fitness/wellness.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Elite MMA Baytown. The coaches are wonderful and well suited for working with kids and adults alike. Coach Robert and Coach Brittney love what they do and it shows. They have incredible patience with the kids and do well instilling the fundamentals and discipline of BJJ. Coaches keep it fun and my twin 6yo girls look forward to training. As a middle-aged guy, that just started after 30 years of procrastination, I love the lack of ego here. Everyone is welcoming and more than happy to help new members out. I haven't witnessed any patronizing or condescension toward new members or lower belts. Everyone understands that we all have to start somewhere and we're all here to get better. I look forward to many years of training here.

Fantastic experience: Before coming to Elite MMA my 5 year old son really struggled in social settings. He was shy, timid, and anxious if me or my husband weren’t by his side at all times. He’s been going to classes for around 4-5 weeks and the change in him as been SO noticeable. I love that he is active, but I love even more that now he is coming out of his shell. He is starting to interact with his peers more and even wants to do the student creed in front of all his new friends. My husband and I are so happy with the coaches as well.. they are patient and truly care about the success of the class. If you are thinking about signing your kids up, do it! It’s so worth it. It’s been the best decision for our little guy.

Fantastic experience: The coaches here are very professional and incredibly patient with the children. They know each and every one of kids by name, even though there are so many little ones around. Everyone, including staff and students, are very welcoming to newcomers. Aside from jiujitsu, everyone is taught to behave with mindfulness and respect. Students learn new techniques every week. My 4 year old is very happy to attend each class; she has demonstrated great improvement from day one. Over all, it is a great place and a very pleasant environment. I am very satisfied and grateful to have found Elite.

Fantastic experience: I've got kids in the Jiu Jitsu program, so my review is based on that program. All the positive comments in the reviews are spot on. If you want to challenge your kids to push themselves physically and mentally, come and see the place for yourself. Just walk in, sit down, and observe. Talk to the parents watching their kids grow. As for the negative reviews, they are mostly spot on as well. There is a monetary commitment, and if you're not willing to hold up your end of the agreement, don't join the program. It's a life lesson for kids and adults alike. If you make a commitment, stick to it. If you're unwilling to stick with your commitments, you won't be happy with the life lessons you learn at the gym. The difference between the positive and negative reviews shows the difference between committing to something, and trying to get out of a commitment. Finally, as for the coaches. Great personalities, good humor, welcoming, and they really enjoy working with the kids. At the same time, they set the example of being respectful, growing physically and mentally, self control, and helping others achieve the same. The balance between having fun and discipline is great, and typically well received by the kids. Don't assume these reviews truly capture the culture at EliteMMA. Walk in to an afternoon kids class and see it in action for yourself. If the lessons you see are what you think will help your child grow and learn, commit to the program and sign them up. You won't regret it if you fully commit. You'll see your kids learn valuable life lessons and how to defend themselves. If it's not for you or your kids, you're only out an afternoon of your time. Fantastic experience: My son has been training with Elite MMA Baytown since he was 3 years off, he is now 8! He loves going to class and learning new techniques and moves! All the coaches at Elite MMA have been so awesome with all the kids! I would recommend Elite to anyone! My son has turned from a shy kiddo to a true ninja!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to Elite MMA since October 2021 and we absolutely love it here! All of the coaches are super helpful and very friendly. You feel like you’re a part of a family when you walk in every day. My son has shown a lot of improvement in the class and has had the opportunity to become one of the leaders in just this short amount of time. It has also greatly improved his self confidence and his behavior at home and at school. We definitely plan on continually being a part of the Elie MMA family for as long as we can.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old son has taken around 15-20 classes thus far and loves it. As a parent, I appreciate the convenience of being able to attend classes from Monday to Thursday. Every week, a new skill or move is taught and we make sure to go three times a week to help him remember it. The coaches and other children in the program are amazing. I would highly recommend Elite MMA in Baytown and wish we had signed up sooner!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for anyone to come and learn self defense. From kids to adults and everything in between, schedules are flexible so there's no excuse. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Mats are disinfected between sessions and temperature checks and shoe sanitizing required at the door before entering. As for pricing it varies based on the term you wish to attend. However that pricing includes everything this place has to offer, so you can take Jujitsu and then jump into Kickboxing all for the same price!!! So stop by and check them out, definitely worth a look.

I've been bringing my son here for right at a year and have loved every minute of it. He has learned so much skill wise as well as better self discipline.

Fantastic experience: I have 2 daughters in the jiu jitsu classes. We felt it was very important for them to learn how to defend themselves and to have the disciple it takes to move up and progress through the ranks. They have really learned a lot about themselves and have more confidence since starting classes. They have made some amazing friends and so have we. The coaches are tough but very personable. I am glad we chose this gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is extremely clean and safe . They take many special precautions to protect students from COVID. The staff is friendly and engaging and truly invest in each of the students to help them grow in the sport. My wife and kids train here as well and they all enjoy it. It’s been particularly good for my son to burn off some of his wild boy energy in a constructive way. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great facility with friendly classmates and a knowledgeable down to earth coach. Elite has multiple schools in Houston and my monthly membership grants me access to them all. I love this sport and I am grateful to find such a well rounded gym.

Fantastic experience: We was looking for something new for my son to try out and my daughter and him both went to see to do something different. They went first day and decided to sign up they enjoyed class said it was fun. They are now moving along in classes and loving each bit of it! The coaches and staff are friendly and is good discipline for kids as well as helping them have more self confidence. I love talking with Carol and Brittney while I wait for my children!! Fantastic experience: The instructors are humble, patient, and very experienced. I have visited other MMA classes cause i travel a lot, as soon as i mention my instructors names their faces light up and the response is “there is no better instructors than them, you’re learning from the best”. I know I’m in the right place. The higher level students are very eager to help you Learn. Ego is not a problem here. And to top it all off their children’s program is amazing. My little girl has learned respect, discipline and confidence. THERE IS NO BETTER MMA SCHOOL.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Elite !! My daughter has been attending class for a year now. The coaches and staff are amazing. They have taught her how to defend herself properly all while she is learning the technical moves to help her progress in class/tournaments. Fantastic experience: This place is awesome!!! I've been going there for about 6 months and love the people. It's like a workout family! Great music, cardio, and self-esteem booster! Love, love, love it!!! I'm extremely busy in my personal life, but 1 hour 3 days per week I take the time to drive 30 minutes to go to this place. Brittany, Robert, and Julian are the best.....nothing but words of encouragement!!! I now take my 13 year old daughter, so we can workout together and she loves it as well.

Fantastic experience: Our family absolutely loves Elite in Baytown! Both my older children have grown so much since coming to this location. It is a second family for us! The coaches are amazing and truly care about teaching the kids and they listen when to the kids when they are having trouble inside and outside of classes. We have been going for 2 years with my oldest son and 1 year with my middle daughter. Our youngest will be old enough to start next year and she is super excited to join.

Fantastic experience: My son started Ju Jitsu at Elite Baytown at the beginning of January. He has enjoyed it so much! All of the coaches(coach Robert, Julian and Brittany) are so supportive and helpful and truly care about everyone there. I started kickboxing at the end of February and it’s the same thing! Fantastic experience: I found Elite MMA while looking for something different for one of my sons. We had always been a baseball family but what had excited my older boys just wasnt working for this child anymore and he had lost motivation. He was being bullied at school and it was beginning to affect his positive attitude. After his first class here he was hooked and now that he's been at Elite for a while, he's become disciplined, he's gained back his confidence, and he's really having fun while he trains! They constantly push each student while still looking out for their well being. The students are constantly asked about goals they have set and how well they are coming along with them. They constantly accept our positive feedback as well as suggestions, each individual class the students are asked how they felt about class and what they did or didn't like about it. I can honestly say Elite MMA in Baytown has changed my life for the better. I've dropped 15 lbs since joining (going on 6 weeks), I'm feeling great and I have something to look forward to everyday. Fantastic experience: I have been apart of EliteMMA for about a year now and I absolutely love this place! I currently attend the afternoon kickboxing class and when I tell you these instructors know how to push the pace I am not kidding. Mr. Robert and Mr.Julian always come to class with fresh new workouts and the certainly know how to make someone sweat! Also, they are constantly encouraging us throughout the class which really keeps up going!
