Fantastic experience: I train out of Rancho Jiujitsu in Huntington, Tx and I stopped by to train with the guys here at Elite MMA. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable at Jiujitsu and taught techniques extremely well. The class was great and professional and I’ll definitely be stopping by to train here when I’m in Baytown!

Fantastic experience: Our youngest started training in the little kids BJJ class (4-6yrs) in Oct '23. Now, our entire family trains here. My husband and I do the kickboxing class, and both kiddos do the kids BJJ class. This is a phenomenal program. It's structured, engaging, and tailored to ensure the success of all the students.

Fantastic experience: This place is so amazing. This program has improved our daughters self-esteem. Arguing has cut down. She wants to clean her room because she enjoys going to class and doesn't want to miss. Coaches are very respectful of parents time by starting and ending class promptly. There is absolutely no horseplay, your child comes here to learn jiu-jitsu- and that is exactly what they do. This isn't the typical sign your kids up and it's like daycare... no, this facility actually teaches! We love it!

Negative experience: My son is 6, we are trying to figure his interests. He likes fighting so we came here. I feel I was tricked/manipulated because I was not aware that they signed memberships up by contract. No one ever told me. So after they took my initial payment and got my SSN the girl explained the contract. I felt pressured at that point. I told her I couldn't commit to a year for my 6 yr old so she said we can do a 3 month trial and then I can decide if I want to stay or leave. I thought that was ok. But the 3 month trial is another contract! Lol So my son is getting bored with this. He requires more activity but I understand the other little kids need to go slow in his age group. We want to explore other gyms but stuck here for another 2 months. Don't let them trick or manipulate you. If you want ANY training at all you'll be in a contract to do so.

Fantastic experience: Elite MMA has a wide range of programs for aspiring martial artists of all ages, goals and levels of experience. Whether you want to lose weight, learn self-defense, or become a professional fighter. My kids and hubby love training here. We've kept our daughter in this program since she was 10 years old, my husband and daughter both trained there for years, and now that our boys are old enough to train, they don't want to miss a day. I couldn't be happier or more grateful to see how much my children have learned in such a short period of time. Not only does this sport teach discipline, but it also teaches respect, humility, and self-defense, among many other things. Not to mention how friendly and knowledgable all of the coaches and team members are. My husband and I highly recommend this location for anyone with children or even just for yourself; they also offer kickboxing.

Positive experience: the place is nice and welcoming..all the coaches are good..the only downside is the 1 year contract..if you have kids below 7yo and looking for school break activity..then you bring your kids here for free session..everyone is nice and welcoming..by the time you ask your kids if they like it..they will say yes..then you sign up..by the time school start after 2 months your kids will complain not going to elite mma coz there too tired from school activity..you end up paying the whole year..hoping elite mma will make a program just for little kids during their school break only just to exposed and introduced martial arts after that if they really into martial arts they can sign up for a year..that will give family flexibility and help financially by not being locked in a 1 year contract..

My home gym is the Westheimer location but I regularly train at the Baytown location.The coaches are phenomenal and want their students to excel, whether it’s your first day or you’ve been there for years they strive to make their students better. I have been training in Muay Thai, boxing and jiu jitsu for over a decade, and after coming the first night, I was very, very happy w the workout I got here. Highly recommend this this gym.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love our Elite MMA - Baytown family! My husband and son (6) have been training at Elite for a little more than a year now and I started a few months ago myself. All of the coaches are nothing short of AWESOME and it is obvious by the attention and focus they give to each student that every single coach loves teaching jiu-jitsu. The flexibility of the schedule is great, too! They have classes M-Th for the kiddos and M-F for the adults, so if you can't make it one day, you have other days to make up for it. The cherry on top is that the gym is super clean!

Fantastic experience: Family oriented, by far the best experience for me. I attend 5 to 7 times per week, I truly appreciate the patience and knowledge. I never feel intimidated or isolated. I recommend to anyone who needs to build confidence. Along with my CrossFit class it adds to my fitness/wellness.

Everyone is welcoming and more than happy to help new members out. I haven't witnessed any patronizing or condescension toward new members or lower belts. Fantastic experience: Before coming to Elite MMA my 5 year old son really struggled in social settings. He was shy, timid, and anxious if me or my husband weren’t by his side at all times. He’s been going to classes for around 4-5 weeks and the change in him as been SO noticeable. I love that he is active, but I love even more that now he is coming out of his shell. He is starting to interact with his peers more and even wants to do the student creed in front of all his new friends. My husband and I are so happy with the coaches as well.. they are patient and truly care about the success of the class. If you are thinking about signing your kids up, do it! It’s so worth it. It’s been the best decision for our little guy.

Fantastic experience: The coaches here are very professional and incredibly patient with the children. They know each and every one of kids by name, even though there are so many little ones around. Everyone, including staff and students, are very welcoming to newcomers. Aside from jiujitsu, everyone is taught to behave with mindfulness and respect. Students learn new techniques every week. My 4 year old is very happy to attend each class; she has demonstrated great improvement from day one. Over all, it is a great place and a very pleasant environment. I am very satisfied and grateful to have found Elite.

Fantastic experience: I've got kids in the Jiu Jitsu program, so my review is based on that program. All the positive comments in the reviews are spot on. If you want to challenge your kids to push themselves physically and mentally, come and see the place for yourself. Just walk in, sit down, and observe. Talk to the parents watching their kids grow. As for the negative reviews, they are mostly spot on as well. There is a monetary commitment, and if you're not willing to hold up your end of the agreement, don't join the program. It's a life lesson for kids and adults alike. If you make a commitment, stick to it. If you're unwilling to stick with your commitments, you won't be happy with the life lessons you learn at the gym. The difference between the positive and negative reviews shows the difference between committing to something, and trying to get out of a commitment. Finally, as for the coaches. Great personalities, good humor, welcoming, and they really enjoy working with the kids. At the same time, they set the example of being respectful, growing physically and mentally, self control, and helping others achieve the same. The balance between having fun and discipline is great, and typically well received by the kids. Don't assume these reviews truly capture the culture at EliteMMA. Walk in to an afternoon kids class and see it in action for yourself. If the lessons you see are what you think will help your child grow and learn, commit to the program and sign them up. You won't regret it if you fully commit. You'll see your kids learn valuable life lessons and how to defend themselves. If it's not for you or your kids, you're only out an afternoon of your time. Fantastic experience: My son has been training with Elite MMA Baytown since he was 3 years off, he is now 8! He loves going to class and learning new techniques and moves! Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to Elite MMA since October 2021 and we absolutely love it here! All of the coaches are super helpful and very friendly. You feel like you’re a part of a family when you walk in every day. My son has shown a lot of improvement in the class and has had the opportunity to become one of the leaders in just this short amount of time. It has also greatly improved his self confidence and his behavior at home and at school. We definitely plan on continually being a part of the Elie MMA family for as long as we can.

Positive experience: I sign my son for jiu jitsu classes, he really like doing it and it’s his first time trying, he is 10 years old and he’s diagnosed with ASD and ADHD - specially how much they reward after practicing for short time, giving it stripes for their belt, certificate and he was really happy and excited to be in front a lot kids and say something aloud and have them repeated after him, he felt very proud of himself and excited! The place is very clean and the teachers are kind, patient and they’re always checking on the kids while they’re practicing, they have a good amount of teachers as well. I’m just not giving 5 stars because I feel the gym could improve having a teacher on the look out for those who has that especial needs and making sure he is understanding and doing the right movement. I can say that I’m very happy with the gym!!!

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old son has attended about 15-20 classes so far and really enjoys it. As a parent, I like the schedule flexibility to go to classes Monday through Thursday. The class learns a new skill/move each week, and we try to go 3 times a week to help reinforce it. They have a great group of coaches and kids in the program. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Mats are disinfected between sessions and temperature checks and shoe sanitizing required at the door before entering. As for pricing it varies based on the term you wish to attend. However that pricing includes everything this place has to offer, so you can take Jujitsu and then jump into Kickboxing all for the same price!!! So stop by and check them out, definitely worth a look.

Fantastic experience: The coaches/staff here are fantastic both on the mat and off and the gym is always clean. I've been bringing my son here for right at a year and have loved every minute of it. He has learned so much skill wise as well as better self discipline.

We felt it was very important for them to learn how to defend themselves and to have the disciple it takes to move up and progress through the ranks. They have really learned a lot about themselves and have more confidence since starting classes. They have made some amazing friends and so have we. The coaches are tough but very personable. Fantastic experience: This gym is extremely clean and safe . They take many special precautions to protect students from COVID. The staff is friendly and engaging and truly invest in each of the students to help them grow in the sport. My wife and kids train here as well and they all enjoy it. It’s been particularly good for my son to burn off some of his wild boy energy in a constructive way. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: We was looking for something new for my son to try out and my daughter and him both went to see to do something different. They went first day and decided to sign up they enjoyed class said it was fun. They are now moving along in classes and loving each bit of it! The coaches and staff are friendly and is good discipline for kids as well as helping them have more self confidence. I love talking with Carol and Brittney while I wait for my children!! Our extended family in extra activity for kids next up looking forward to see my children compete !!!!!

Fantastic experience: EliteMMA Baytown has been a huge blessing for my entire family. The coaches are patient, kind, and push you to be your best self. I can’t say enough good things about Coach Robert and Coach Brittney. My kids ages 5 and 6 both love their little ninja class. It is teaching them respect, self control, and discipline all values that can reach into the rest of their life. My husband and I also started attending class and enjoy the physical and mental challenge that Jiu Jitsu presents. The other members of the gym have become family, friends, and teammates. Fantastic experience: A great team environment where everyone is so welcoming. The classes are very technical but fun. They push you mentally and physically and I love the challenge. Every class is fun! The team and instructors are great! I look forward to training every day even after 8+ years!
