Negative experience: 1. Awful music. 2. Closes too early (especially Friday & Saturday) Listen, the music doesn't fit fitness; it's like being force-fed fast food from MacDonalds. 99 out of 100 people are wearing their own headphones. You don't need loud cliché industrialized spoon fed music piped in. I'd give this gym 4 or 5 stars if they killed the annoying music and stayed open later

Negative experience: I heard a terrible story of an elderly widow who went there an was treated extremely horribly!

Negative experience: Very dirty and half of the machines don’t even work

Positive experience: Nice gym, good facilities, One star off for not having a towel service and having issues with hot water

Negative experience: Gym is in disrepair. Classes are good when they have them but usually not regular enough to attend more than once. Bathroom is abysmal. Some staff are friendly, most are not. Don't bother using the pool, it's constantly reserved for other purposes than free swim. Basketball courts are now pickleball, which is not free for members. Sign up for this gym if you want to subsidize the other programs they have going on without any benefit for the member.

Fantastic experience: Being at this gym since it was NYSC, and it's friendly and nice equipment , swimming pool, bike room, steam room, and forget it , too much to mention all the services they have,

Negative experience: I was there last night, I was just about to finish my workout when the girl working front desk came over, interrupted me to tell me I had about six minutes to leave. I obviously knew that, hence I was trying to finish my workout(I always leave at at 9:59pm, they close at 10pm) it's never been a problem before so idk why it was a problem last night. She went around telling everyone the same thing. Mind you im always there late bc of work and we all leave by 10pm. We all just stopped and left but this ridiculous, especially since they recently upped their prices to $80/month which is already insane considering its not the biggest gym. You would think that for $80/month you be able to finish your 3min left in your workout but I guess not.

Negative experience: If you value your money, do not go to this place. They will go to any length to pick your pocket.

Fantastic experience: My favorite fitness center by far! The staff is wonderful, the variety of strength training equipment is exactly what I need. They have a pool, basketball court and more. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: William - Came here to use the sauna and steam room on a guest pass because I just couldnt find a steam room I liked anywhere else. Ended up staying to use the basketball and pickleball courts. This facility is HUGE! They have a lot to offer - full gym, classes, pool, courts, turf & more.

Fantastic experience: By far the best most professional facility. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The gym layout is awesome leaving plenty of space to get your workout in. In addition to the machines and free weights the basketball court and turf provide the opportunity to get some different work in. I highly recommend this gym. The prices are good and there is no corporate pushy feel at this place.

Fantastic experience: I came here on a guest pass to try the classes and WOW! I was blown away by how many classes there are and how fun each class is. Highly recommend Zumba, it's a blast. Locker rooms are clean and the management team is always available to talk to. Rare these days. I will keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: Place is in great condition, The typical hot hours around 5 pm aren’t over crowded and they always have it nice and clean. Would recommend to friends and family. Made friends with a bunch of staff too.

Fantastic experience: Longtime member of this gym. Recently they raised the membership fees more than I would like, however I decided to remain a member because this gym, in my opinion, offers something special that other gyms in the area do not. The gym has the best classes and the best instructors, Seema, Michele, Elaine, Amy, Luli. In particular, Seema who tries to make us satisfied with our gym needs. She organizes our classes; the equipment and I guess that is why she has a lot of followers. Once in the past, a 9:30 spin class was taken off the schedule. A few of us decided to go into the spin room and spin ourselves, Seema was passing by saw us and decided to teach the class to make us happy. Another time an instructor was unable to make it to the class at the last minute. Seema came in and taught the class to make sure that we were happy. This makes me feel that this is a great gym and I'm happy to remain a member.

Negative experience: Locker room is filthy at times, a bunch of kids that can’t open the place on time and then argue about it. Failures waiting to happen. Good thing you’re in NJ and not a truly competitive market. Membership ends this month, not renewing, taking four others with me.

Negative experience: Don't often write reviews, and really wanted to love this gym. Starting with the positives, the monthly fee is reasonable vs other gyms in the area. The gym is spacious and through covid (other than the basketball area, which you would expect) has not been crowded / large enough to handle the membership. Has all the cardio and weight equipment you would want. Trainers are very nice. There is a turf area in the back of the gym that is often unoccupied and the kids love to play on the field. Now the reason for my low start rating to share my experience with future members): This gym that struggles to turn the corner. The facility itself has aged and in some areas total disrepair. the locker rooms are dirty / need a facelift. The pool area desperately needs a facelift. I spoke to the manager about an issue today and she simply handed me a cancelation form with a smile (she had the cancelation forms next to her and ready on a clipboard, must happen often). No help, no remorse from the manager. I have not been this disappointed and frustrated with a local business in decades! Fantastic experience: Wow!! Classes are amazing and challenging! All the instructors are Phenomenal! I’ve been to plenty of gyms and these classes exceed all by far!! The staff and managers are helpful and friendly! Great vibes and great workouts all around! Definitely a must to check out!

Fantastic experience: We needed to move our son's birthday party to an indoor space due to the forecast. Fountain Fitness Center accommodated us on short notice, which saved us from having to cancel. The Indoor Turf Field was perfect for our sports party. I highly recommend Fountain Fitness!

Fantastic experience: We came to the Fountain Spa!! We didn't visit the fitness center due to time restriction but the Ramsey location is lovely..I prefer this location over Hackensack. I heard the gym is modern and has tons of equipment The whirlpool is romantic, my husband and I enjoyed that Facial was the best Erica I will be back to see The lovely ladies that did our pedicure was awesome Couples massages lovely I will definitely be treating myself.more often

Fantastic experience: Great equipment, whether you are looking for Cardio, spinning, weight training, or yoga, this is the place to go. Great mix of members, older, younger, heavy, Muscular, all are welcomed and a great experience. The swimming pool is amazing, whether you are doing laps or a water yoga class, it is great. After a great workout, there is nothing like a hot shower and some time in the saunas or steam rooms, separate facilities for men and women. Well worth the membership fees.

Fantastic experience: We recently joined fountain fitness, i really must say i enjoy going. Its very nice and friendly staff ( this is pretty genuine) a massive weight room, there is always a personal trainer there if you ever need help with anything. Sauna is amazing. Just regular people there working out, so no imtimadation factor at all. Priced just right to keep a massive group away and not to expensive where its just to much! Overall been there about 1 month, and nothing has changed since i joined day 1, so no scams or bs, everything they said was true, very refreshing!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience working with the manager who offered a great package for me. The gym is very clean and it’s not that busy. I used to go there many years ago and it was always packed but now after Covid it seems to be coming back to life. I highly recommend it. Large pool, awesome space and friendly staff. Please give them a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The indoor turf field is awesome!! The Toddler Turf Time offered gives young kids a great chance to run around and play with other kids and make new friends. Nice to see smiling faces and laughing kids for the first tine in a year.

They push masks and take temperatures at the front desk. I see some of the members being loud and rude to the front desk and managers, but they have to understand they are just enforcing the rules. I think they are doing a great job under the circumstances that we are in. Rachael the manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk girls are super bubbly and friendly as well.

Negative experience: Pool closed indefinitely, weight equipment not maintained, more than half the cardio equipment not working, sanitizers rarely working, equipment not sanitized, people don't clean equipment after using...I could go on and on. I'm very disappointed in this place. I gave it two stars because the people behind the front desk are really great and it is not crowded - but that is because of the conditions. I'm surprised this place is still open. I opted to pay for one month to try it and at least there is no contract, so I can walk away...

Fantastic experience: I have two children- a toddler and a 3 year old- and the Toddler Turf Time is amazing! It’s 9-12 Monday through Friday, and the amount of things to do on this turf is incredible! We started with masks, but took them off because the place is so spacious; we are nowhere near other people! There are: balls, goal posts, hula hoops, a balance beam, gym mats, cones, squishy dice, cornhole, and so much more!! I cannot recommend this place enough for gross motor time for the little ones!

Positive experience: They're still working on upgrading the facility but, definitely better than NYSC.
