West Point is located in the Hudson Valley on the banks of the Hudson River. It is a popular recreation spot for personal fitness, yoga, and well beats. There is also a strength training center and a health club. Spin and fitness equipment are available for group fitness classes. Personal training and child care are also available. A 5k run is held every year.

The following questionnaire will help you determine if you need to seek further advice from your doctor or a qualified exercise professional before becoming more physically active.

The class size is limited to 7 people and it is strongly suggested that you pre-register. You don't need to wear a mask while you are on the bike, but please check in with the front desk before and after the class.

We're offering 1-hour yoga sessions at Trophy Point! Each class costs $5.00 per person. We highly encourage you to pre-register online via WebTrac. Class size is limited to 20 participants. The class will only be held if the weather permits. Please bring your own yoga mat! We will be enforcing social distancing. You are required to wear a mask when you check in, but you do not need to wear one during the class.

All MWR Fitness Center patrons should be aware that it is up to the individual instructor to decide whether or not to hold a class with a minimum of five people or fewer.

Body Pump is a barbell workout that strengthens your entire body! This 60-minute program challenges all your major muscle groups by using weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to GET THE RESULTS YOU CAME FOR- and fast!!

Personal training is now available again at the MWR Fitness Center! Our personal trainers are under government contract to teach at the fitness center, and all of our COVID-mitigation policies are still in place. Click here for a list of our COVID rules.

You can either pay for assessments separately from personal training sessions, or use them as one of the paid sessions. A free basic risk assessment (blood pressure, resting heart rate, height, and weight) is required before beginning any personal training program.

For $25, you can get your heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, body mass index, cardiovascular, muscular strength, flexibility, and postural assessment analyzed by a professional.

The cost of the fitness assessment is $50, which includes measurements of body composition (body fat), body mass index (weight), blood pressure, heart rate, exercise recovery heart rate, exercise target heart rate range, girth measurements, cardio vascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and postural and flexibility assessments. If the trainer feels it is appropriate, additional assessments may also be administered. A professional fitness analysis of the assessment will be provided.

This text is discussing a new approach to fitness called "transitions." This approach emphasizes staying active and fit while promoting overall health and wellness. The class features a mix of cardio, resistance training, balance, mobility, and awareness skills that can help people achieve their fitness goals.

We are always looking for ways to bring new energy to better the lives of our military community. You can become a personal fitness trainer at West Point and change peoples lives!

You can get $10 off any 90 minute massage service or $5 off any 60 minute massage service as a first time customer, or $5 off on your birthday. Specials cannot be combined with any other offers, and there are no refunds for massages that have already been purchased. You must be eligible to use the MWR Fitness Center, and gift certificates are non-refundable but can be used within a year of the date of purchase.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and good equipment

Jay Bercasio 1 year ago

Positive experience: The establishment is clean and welcomes all personnel that are military. The only thing is that the hours of the gym doesn’t match what it says. They indicated that Saturday was 24 hours but I’m sitting outside and it is not 24 hours operational. I guess the gain train is non operational on the weekend.

Fantastic experience: Has everything you could need, staff are very nice, and I have never waited more than a minute or two for a piece of equipment. Great atmosphere. The mornings are definitely busier for obvious reasons. Only wish they were open an hour or so later, especially on Fridays and weekends.
