I usually do BJJ but needed to work on my upper strength and this is the place to come to! Fantastic experience: Great experience, great coaches. I participate in the adult/young adult Muay Thai and Kick Boxing, it's such an awesome way to finish day. My son, age 11, is in youth MMA and really enjoys it. Come learn this skill, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are just getting started at Genesis, but I already feel really welcome despite knowing absolutely nothing about boxing. Mike has been extremely generous with his time teaching us the basics and orienting us to the facility (which is really clean btw). If you are on the fence about trying this gym, let me assure you this place is top notch!

Fantastic experience: quality black belt jiu jitsu instruction with a Henry Matamoros, Pedro Sauer, Hickson Gracie lineage. clean and large facility. many different training partners, ages, body types, and experience levels. plenty of programs to choose from. the jiu jitsu team is fun and takes care of each other but we still train hard. minimal egos and the people are helpful.

Fantastic experience: This place is a GEM!!! With complete transparency, I lived in California and planned my entire move to Colorado just to be able to train at Genesis Training Academy (GTA). Whether you're a beginner looking to learn applicable self-defense skills or an aspiring fighter training to make it in the amateur/pro scene, this is the gym for you. I know, I know. There are a lot of other gyms in the area touting qualified instructors, pro fight teams, and beginner-friendly classes...so what sets GTA apart from all those other gyms? The difference is in the personal care provided by each and every instructor. It's become a very sad norm for many gyms to host classes with the sole intent of funding the training of their more elite fighters. At GTA, Jake and Luke go above and beyond for their students. They work with you on a personal level to make sure your technique is flawless and you reach the level of martial prowess you set out to achieve! This dedication to your success isn't limited to just during class schedules either. Unlike most gyms that offer you only an hour of open gym time for you to practice outside of class, GTA offers an insane 5 hours of open gym time so that you can hit the bags, work on technical skills, and receive help from more experienced fighters/instructors. They have this gym time because they don't just want you to be a student paying membership fees...when you join GTA; you are becoming part of a second family. They care about you and your success both inside and outside of the gym. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and make the jump.

Fantastic experience: I started at Genesis because they are a different gym than all the other ones I have been to and looked into. the coaches are knowledgable in the arts and the vibe is professional and uplifting. it has an order to it,which I couldn't find at other gyms. It isn't for everybody, but it is for those who view their art and life with importance.

Not only are they Coached by the amazing Jake Ramos but you also have access to 10th Planet Denver and Sharkk Fitness. This is really a one stop shop and you need to look no further. So glad to not only call everyone here my teammates but my family as well.

The gym owners were very polite, coaches are very professional and they know what they're talking about. The environment is very constructive and I can see how coaches and teammates work together, if you want to learn MMA or Boxing, this is definitely the best choice.

Fantastic experience: My son’s been coming to Genesis for about 6 months and when he started he couldn’t even jump rope!! (Not my best mom moment) but he shows up to class and the coaches have been amazing. His hand and eye coordination has gotten awesome and his overall workouts are improving. Coaches work great with him and any questions he has they are there to answer. Everyone who is involved is super nice and treats everyone with respect and like family. Thank you Genesis for welcoming us with open arms and working with us.

And the knowledge that these coaches have It’s unreal!! Come down to Genesis fight and have a great time learning and training with great people!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Genesis Training Academy for almost over 3 years now and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Best decision I’ve made in my pro career. I’ve been knowing Jacob Ramos (Coach) and Amanda (Coach’s wife) since I was 6 years old and the love and hospitality they have given my family and I has never changed. Coach Jake helped trained my dad for a few pro fights and I always looked up to him... still do. If you’re looking for a home gym with loving and caring people, this is the place to go. Also the new gym is freakin amazing!!!
