Fantastic experience: My 7 year old has been taking classes for 4 months and she loves going every week. Shihan Brian is welcoming, enthusiastic, and straight forward. He creates a warm, supportive, and fun learning environment that motivates students, keeps them engaged, and helps them feel successful. Total Impact is very family-oriented and the instructors are great with the kids - patient and encouraging. My daughter struggles with motor coordination & Shihan Brian or one of the amazing senseis will step in to show her proper technique and provide guidance when she’s struggling, which I greatly appreciate. They do this for other students, too. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As a junior black belt here at total impact martial arts, I have been taught many amazing and interesting moves, but it's not just about the class, Head master Shihan Brian has helped many kids find their own confidence through marital arts and it's disciplined aspects that are brought along with the class

Fantastic experience: My son started at Total Impact in the Spring. He was hesitant and shy, very nervous to start. After the first class he said he loved it, and looks forward to it every week. He's already ready to test for his next belt, and I can see his confidence growing. The whole staff is welcoming and encouraging, and Brian has been super flexible, allowing for schedule shifts for our busy Summer. We hope to continue at Total Impact for a long time.

Fantastic experience: I love this Karate Dojo. My son has been coming to Total impact for about 8 months and he loves it. He never wants to miss a class because he always learns something new and it’s fun. Sensei Brian and all other Sensei’s are truly amazing. They have a great instructor to kid ratio and I see how much their program has instilled listening skills and coordination in my son. The instructors are super patient and have compassion with the kids and make sure to give each child the attention catered to their personality. Their belt program is great as well. Sensei Brian and all the other Sensei’s are so encouraging, kind, helpful, and respectful, they work really hard to instill this in all the kids. All the senseis are so nice, encouraging, and they really go out of their way to make these kids feel confident in their martial art skills. They help her do better and improve in every class. Fantastic experience: If I could give Total Impact 10 stars, I would! From the moment I walked in, I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Kickboxing is a great way to work on your fitness, and these classes work your entire body! What I love most is that each class has something different. The coaches and sensei’s are great in explaining the techniques and helping out when needed. There’s always 3-4 coaches in class, and I believe that the one on one attention makes a big difference. Fantastic experience: My 5 years old son is taking classes for almost a year. The instructors are really nice and friendly. Especially, they have such great patience with kids. They try to teach them focus, respect, listening, and discipline. The place is nice, clean and also well equipped with all punching bags and stuff. We like this place and highly recommend. Fantastic experience: I decided to sign up for a trial and I’m glad I did. Today April 6th, 2023 I decided to do kickboxing. My experience here was awesome. I went to a jiu-jitsu class last Saturday April 1,2023 and my experience wasn’t great. The jiu-jitsu class made me feel like I was just a number and ToTal Impact Martial arts and fitness made me feel like a person. They even acknowledge me by my name and the instructors walk around to help you with the technique. They make you feel welcome and they work with you also. I’m even considering joining my kid here Definitely, going back ! Thinking about joining a martial class and don’t know which one . Well I RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION .

Fantastic experience: I joined the fitness kickboxing classes about a month ago as I was looking for a new workout to add to the mix. It was just what I needed and more. The workouts are intense but also include teaching technique. Brandon, Brian and team all molding men, women and children and it’s great to be a part of! I am excited to expand my training with their team.

Fantastic experience: We have tried 4 different Taekwondo/martial arts schools before we found Total Impact. Brian along with all of the other instructors (we love sensei Kirk and Brandon) are ABSOLUTELY amazing with kids. They are so patient, so kind yet firm, and positively encourages and teaches my boys (ages 5 and 7) to become the best they can be. Brian actually teaches all of the classes, and he is just awesome! I love the way he pays attention to every single student (and parents/families), and teaches all of the techniques along with great values. I also appreciated the fact that there was zero pressure to sign up after our free trial. There is no contract and the class fees are very reasonable, too! My boys didn’t want to try yet another martial arts school, but after a couple of weeks, they absolutely LOVE the classes. We’re so happy with Total impact! I hope to keep our boys here until they receive their black belts!!

Hes been there for about 4 years now. The instructors are great and really focus on each student and their performance. I highly recommend this place. Fantastic experience: Our kids have been a part of Total Impact for several years. Sensei Brian is an exceptional coach! He understands kids, he gets to know them pretty well. He is kind, but knows how to keep discipline during class. Kids are taught great techniques and learn how to keep great form required for Martial arts. Our kids really thrive there. The belt ranks are not given out just for attendance but for hard work. We are impressed with Brian’s approach and grateful for his advice and attention!

Fantastic experience: Our 10 yrs old daughter is always looking forward to her weekly class at Total Impact.Since starting to attend class in there she has become more self disciplined towards life and school expectations as well. As a parent I really like the form that students have to provide in order to be allowed to test for the next belt. It makes students aware of how to conduct themselves with respect, accountability and responsibilities. All great life skills! The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. What we love most is they don’t just teach to progress students (you don’t earn belt promotions simply by showing up - you earn it through your knowledge and your attitude). Fantastic experience: I started the adult classes at Total Impact a couple months ago. The kickboxing class is fun & high energy. Sensai Brandon takes you through the flows and leaves you exhausted. You'll have so much fun you'll barely notice time past. Then there's MMA where we get technical with Sensai Kirk. Here is where you learn real self defense. Sensai Kirk teaches you the technique and then "it's your Krav after that!!!" Sensai Brian's the best. He's always there to correct form and provide "motivation!" He builds the community with BBQs and Holiday parties. When You join this gym you're joining a family. If You're on the fence, come check it out. It's a great workout!!!

Fantastic experience: Total Impact is the BEST dojo in the northern suburbs. Martial arts is all about the sensei and they don't come better than Brian. A great guy who is real, compassionate, and feeds the students the confidence they need to be successful in MMA and in life.

Fantastic experience: This organization is fantastic. I've been going on and off for 2 years due to a busy schedule and Covid but I can say that Sensei Brian is the best coach I've ever had. When you're at the place you feel like you're with family friends while learning and building your martial arts talent. I refuse to go to another martial arts organization. Most places handout black belts for the sake of it even when you're not close to being one. Brian makes sure you learn and earn each belt up. Easy to work with and flexible. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ establishment and coaching.

Fantastic experience: Brian and his co teachers Allen, Brandon, and the others are always full of energy for every class. They really infect you with their enthusiasm for Karate. My daughter loves coming to class and I've seen her confidence improve. They're flexible with makeup classes and will explain procedures with you. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Brian and the entire team are all amazing, positive leaders and teachers! My son is 14 and he loves Total Impact!

Fantastic experience: My son attends classes at Total Impact with Master Brian. He has seemingly endless patience with the children in the class. It is amazing how much my 8 year old has learned already, he is so proud of himself!

Fantastic experience: My 6 yr old nephew and I went to our first class today. He went to a jr. class and I attended the kick boxing after. Brian and his team taught and entertained more than 15 kids for 45 min. The kids were attentive, smiling, asking questions, running, jumping and seemed to enjoy every minute. It was impressive to say the least. My nephew asked when the next class was at dinner. I had a great time at kick boxing. They encouraged everyone to go at their own pace and not over do it while delivering one hell of a workout! Everyone had their own punching bag to work out on as well. The instructor was helpful and the class flew by. I’m going again tomorrow!

Fantastic experience: Total Impact is a wonderful place to learn martial arts my son loves it, he is beginner and I can see better behavior on him more discipline, Brian is very professional teacher, schedules are very flexible!!!.. totally recommend TOTAL IMPACT MARTIAL ARTS

Fantastic experience: My 10-year-old daughter wanted to try Karate after watching Cobra Kai. The owner was very welcoming and explained the whole process. He told me that his father-in-law trained at a dojo in Chicago that inspired Cobra Kai. The uniforms are similar to Cobra Kai and the classes are easygoing at first not to discourage new kids. The belt progression system gives kids the motivation to keep going. My daughter gets a good workout while having fun and listening to 80’s music. Great overall experience that has my daughter coming back!

Fantastic experience: My daughter is in the Junior MMA program and this is truly an amazing place! It is a very friendly environment! The instructors walk around while they are practicing to help them further understand the combinations. Sensei Brian and the other instructors have taught my daughter so much in only a few months of attending. I definitely recommend going to Total Impact Martial Arts to learn more about kickboxing or martial arts and get a great workout in!

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves going to total impact. They make it a fun time learning MMA in a safe environment for a great workout. There are lots of staff to help the kids learn the proper techniques while providing encouragement.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this dojo! It is outstanding!! They are VERY flexible with my schedule! My daughter has gained so much confidence in her karate class! She seems less stressed since she has started and is in a better mood! I recommend this place to every parent!! They also do amazing fun days for the kids and I appreciate that so much! 15 out of 10!!

Fantastic experience: We love everything about Total Impact! Brian and his staff are helpful, encouraging, and challenging for our kiddo. They teach about form and respect, and they do so in an enjoyable way that allows each child to grow and make progress based on their need and ability. The dojo is clean, well-maintained, and it is reflective of the great ownership.
