Fantastic experience: There are alot more Gyms then the last gym membership I had. In my opinion Marvin Altman is still #1 They have the most, plus medical attention all around if it's needed. who else has a Pool, big Hot tub, and a Sauna too, to swet the rest of it off. I just stopped in for pricing. I walk here takes me less 15 minutes to get here. 8 blocks. Check them out, I'm joining, come with me.

Fantastic experience: My family and I joined Marvin AltMan a few years back, then I tried other gyms ,I wasn't happy with the other ones, I said I'm going back to Marvin AltMan,I'm happier now I love it!

Negative experience: Loved the gym and everyone was nice. I’ll say to cancel your membership even after your contract has ended you have to show up in person and physically sign or they will keep charging you monthly. Honestly, the gym deserves 5 stars but Kristi Tibbett is beyond rude. I call just to let them know that I cannot physically make it in to do that because of work and how I should go about closing the account. Kristi loved to tell me they would just keep charging me until I took a day off to get there! Imagine being so rude you make a 5 star gym a 1 star!

Positive experience: Great gym. It's always clean with plenty of workout equipment. They offer personal training as well. I only give 3 stars because they had some older lady working the front who got rude with me and then because I forgot my card which was never a problem before she wanted to break my contract that didn't expire til beginning of May and make me pay for a day pass. Sadly I won't be coming back, I found a far more friendly environment to workout in. All it takes is for 1 rude employee to tarnish an amazing gym.

Negative experience: Facility is older; the pool is not heated during winter months; jacuzzi has one strong jet. I won’t continue my membership after the summer months. Personnel are friendly

Negative experience: Went in to get a membership and the lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. I was asking for membership details and she answered everything so rude and told me I couldn’t get certain things. I went in with the intentions of having a new gym but walked out without a membership. I forgot to ask for her name but she’s an older skinny white female with short hair. Hope she treats other nicer… Ps: this is my first ever negative review, she was just THAT rude.

Fantastic experience: I have just started going there. I have a Medicare Advantage policy that pays for some health/gym programs. I am still working, so I go at night or the weekend. They have numerous weight machines, treadmills, bike machines, swimming pool, and whirlpools. If you can go in the day time, they have several exercise classes and programs. I like it very much.

Negative experience: The workers are so rude and racist. Worst place ever never get a membership there Really rude the old lady’s that go there are so rude got mad because I was splashing in the pool it’s a pool like who is not going to splash in a pool that has water in it trust and believe there the worst places in Arkansas.

Positive experience: It needs a complete remodel!!! The staff however are friendly. The classes are fun and the equipment always worked well when I belonged there. I just the price is a bit steep for what you get in return. It just needs a major overhaul! It needs new equipment and new interior design. It’s 2019! It’s time for a change.

Negative experience: One of the women working there is rude. I understand closing at 9, but to walk in there at 8:50 and say “we’re closed” with an attitude is unnecessary. I know what time the gym closes. I would understand if it was like maybe 8:57 and I was still there, but to go in there at 8:50 and tell me that the gym is closed with a hateful attitude is not okay.

Positive experience: The staff was fantastic. The group that was already at the pool for the aqua fitness class welcomed me like I was an old friend.

Fantastic experience: I visited the gym today while traveling from Pennsylvania for work. This is a great place. Very nice big gym space with quality free weights, machines and cardio equipment. They also have a nice pool, sauna and whirl pool. I wish I had more time I could have spent several hours there. The employees were also very friendly.

Fantastic experience: I went to this gym for about 3-4 months (had to temporarily stop because my kiddo is home for summer break) but I will most certainly be back. I went 4-5 days a week and without fail the staff was always so friendly, including the trainers, and all of their equipment was clean and orderly. Going to the gym can be a daunting experience, especially if you’re new to it, and even more so when you’re a woman. In many gyms I’ve gone to I’ve had unwanted and uncomfortable situations with other members and not one time going to this gym was I ever made to feel uncomfortable. The amenities are fantastic with an indoor pool, saunas, and hot tubs to help with recovery. The one and only flaw I’ve noticed in this gym is that they don’t have a mirror on the wall near the free weights to be able to check your form, but they do have them in the private rooms usually used for group classes (but I’ve never been at a time where one wasn’t open) and that is a very small compromise I’m happy to make.

Negative experience: I called before coming to your establishment to ensure it was an open pool for swimming and was told "yes". My assistant took my 3 children and her 2 children to swim at 1:05 and by 1:32 they were told to leave. They were not rude or disrespectful to the lane walkers and were interacting with some of the elderly in the pool. One woman in particular complained and they were asked to leave after 27 minutes. We were not offered a refund and only offered a receipt to return at 7pm to 8pm tonight for family swim. If you are not an open pool to the public or restricted, please do not present yourself as such. Also, the fact you kept our payment after your blunder, speaks volumes to the kind of business you are running.

Fantastic experience: This gym is an incredible place to get into premiere physical health. It offers a good variety of classes ranging from yoga to dance to navy seal physical training. It is very spacious offering a large number of cardiovascular machines and muscle building equipment both resistance and free weights available. I personally enjoy the large heated pool the hot whirlpool and the extremely hot sauna most of all. The locker rooms are amazingly clean with quick dry machines for drying your swim trunks instantaneously and the showers have great smelling shampoo and conditioners that will leave your hair feeling exquisite. Priced at 40$ a mo th for one person is still a great deal but sign up with a partner and each pay only 25$ a piece.

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful. Equipment is new and very extensive. Pool is huge, but the main reason I chose MA is the whirlpool and sauna. Whirlppol has been recoated multiple times in the past year. Let's hope this time it sticks and doesn't bubble up.

Negative experience: It is ok but they keep adding classes to the pool area which takes up space without giving people a heads up. Without the pool area they are definitely not worth the money, not even close. If you have no free lanes then why do they think you want to pay the amount of money they ask of you?

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym for many reasons. The first being that there aren't many people that are at it at any given time. Next most of the people that do go are older and very respectful of each other and the machinery. They have classes which are quite fun as well as staff that give instruction on how to use machines and what to focus on.
