Fantastic experience: I've been training here as a new white belt for a few months now. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are great communicators. All of the students are very nice too. Everyone takes time to explain what's going on and how to improve. No one's in there smashing me which is nice as an older student. I love this gym and am so happy to be here! Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Legacy BJJ enough. Our son started here when we switched from another academy. They are absolutely amazing. Great for both Adults and Kids. The progress we have seen in our son is really awesome and we are SO glad he loves it.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been training at this gym for over four years now, and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. We range in age from 9 to 74, and the professors and coaches here are able to tailor each of our classes to our age and ability level in a way that is just amazing. None of us had any martial arts experience prior to training here, but it has been one of the best things we have ever done. We love that we can all support each other, and how supportive the other students and instructors are at the gym, too. It really is like a second family, and you will feel that when you come in to train here. Class times are convenient and are offered 6 days a week, so you can always find something to fit your schedule. They offer free trial classes if you want to come in and see if it's for you. Highly recommend Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!!

Fantastic experience: Signed my 4 year old son up for Jiu jitsu to get him into a good hobby/sport he would enjoy. Everyone here from is amazing! Since day one the experience has been 5 star! From the easy stress free enrollment with Billy to the amazing instructors who demonstrate passion for the sport, Mimi & professor Ricardo. My son is easily distracted at times but they made it fun to learn while keeping him engaged. My son also has asthma and they were all very aware and on top of his medical needs if he ever needed a puff of meds to get him through his class. I would highly recommended sharpen iron to anyone! They are amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Instructors are superb. The kids classes are well run and fun. You see it on the kiddos faces. Adults beginners classes are inviting. You can tell students are well instructed and trained. Advanced classes are top notch. Egos are definitely left outside the doors. I’ve been to several places and fell in love with this one. I’m a purple belt. This is definitely my home and staff and students give it the family feel.

Fantastic experience: I have trained at many gyms around the globe, but this is the place I am very happy to call my home. Great instructors with a great group of people who do their best to make everyone welcome. My daughter and I have been training here for 2 years and the amount of confidence and skill she has gained in that time frame is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending this academy for just over a month now, so I can't offer a whole lot of input in terms of technical proficiency of the instructors or anything like that because I'm still pretty new to the whole thing. But what I CAN talk about is the quality of PEOPLE that both operate and attend this school. First, how many times have you heard "We're a family here" when you start a new job or attend a new church or whatever just to find out that it's actually more of a group of acquaintances more than an actual family? I've heard that a thousand times, so when I started hearing the word "family" thrown around I rolled my eyes and thought, "Sure. This is going to be one of those families where nobody knows anyone else's names and we don't speak outside of these four walls." Friends, that's not the case here. I kid you not, this community of people are closer than my actual family. We're always in communication outside of training hours. Everyone's genuinely invested in each other on and off the mat. This is a similar brand of camaraderie I found in the Marines; it's very much a "no man left behind" culture here. Here's a specific example... I've been struggling with the mental game, i.e., am I cut out for this sport? I sent a message to the group chat expressing my concerns and asking for help. The outpouring of support literally choked me up. So many people came to my rescue with stories about how they can relate. In fact, one of the gym staff -- Crystal -- sat down with me and talked about how she still battles these demons even as a purple belt. I walked away from that conversation with a renewed sense of self-worth. (Thanks, Crystal!) So I guess what I'm really trying to say here is that you're not just getting a gym here, you're truly inheriting a family of some of the greatest people I've met in my 39 years on this planet. You have my word on that.
