Fantastic experience: Came here for the first time on Christmas Day when every other gym was closed. Staff was very welcoming and informative (especially for working on the holiday). Gym has a great collection of old-school and new-school equipment; everything you need to get big is here. Atmosphere is positive and welcoming; people want to train hard here and they want you here too. Overall, great staff, facilities, and atmosphere. If you’re ready to get serious about bodybuilding then you should be here.

Fantastic experience: Did a drop in while in town for work. Great gym in an area already full of great gyms. All the equipment you can need whether powerlifting, strongman, or Olympic lifting. If you are motivated by being around people bigger and stronger than you this is your place. Plus they allow dogs inside. Shoutout to Emily at the front desk. She was very welcoming and cheery at 6am.

Fantastic experience: One of the best workout experiences I’ve had. A true bodybuilding playground, very machine possible, prepped meals in the fridge, posing rooms and an iron feeling that’ll warm your heart and muscles .

Fantastic experience: If you’re craving a no-nonsense serious gym for dedicated lifters, with a sincere authentic American powerlifting vibe and the heavy metal soundtrack to boot— look no further. I was pretty disillusioned by commercial gyms too often basically being for show when I came to Destination for the Sunday posing class— and between Deftones playing, the well-loved grug caveman type equipment and the adorable dogs that often visit, I fell in love and joined on the spot. Serious lifters, this is where you want to be.

Fantastic experience: The best gym I visited in Texas, I’d been waiting to train here for years and it did not disappoint, the kit, spacing, atmosphere everything was next level and the staff were very helpful and friendly they even let me and my girlfriend train for free and to top it off they gave us some free gasp clothing on the way out. 100% recommend this place to anyone even if your not bodybuilding no one is there to judge everyone is on the same page, hardcore but with a friendly vibe.

Negative experience: I’ve been a consistent gym-goer for a couple of years and usually really enjoy trying out new places. Recently, my regular gym was closed for the week, so I decided to check out Destination Fitness since it’s so close to home. The facility itself is well-located and has potential, but I found the layout and organization a bit challenging, especially for anyone who isn’t used to that kind of setup. The equipment felt a little crowded, and the weights weren’t on the machines, which can be confusing if you’re not familiar with their system. When I asked for a little guidance from the girl at the front desk, the response I received wasn’t particularly welcoming. This might be a fantastic place for seasoned athletes or bodybuilding enthusiasts who already know the ropes. But if you’re someone who’s still finding your footing or just prefers a more supportive intro, this gym might not offer the friendliest first impression. I hope this feedback helps both the gym improve their customer service and other folks who are looking for a welcoming environment know what to expect.

Fantastic experience: Came on a Saturday in early August, they had a free breakfast with a variety of foods and coffee. Never seen any gym do something like that. Apparently it’s a 1x a month member appreciation or community building thing which I admire. Front desk staff were super helpful and engaging. Spacing is great. Good mix of music. They even have an open lobby area with kids can hang with a golden retriever that apparently makes appearances (very cool).The gym is super cool, people are courteous and jacked in a good way — powerlifter builds, bodybuilder, physique, handicapped and just average fit folks of different backgrounds. The aesthetics are a mix of oldschool and rustic with hint of modern display. An extremely pleasant visit. I don’t live here, but I will be back in Dallas frequently and every time I am, I will exercising here.
