Negative experience: Honestly a decent gym but the hoops they make you jump through to cancel your membership is insane...$100 just to cancel... Yes it's in the fine fine print but nobody tells you this.

Fantastic experience: Visiting from out of town and decided to check out Results Fitness. Erica helped get me set up and the entire staff was kind and welcoming. The gym has a solid assortment of machines, everything was clean, and I appreciated the clear signage for gym etiquette. The vibe here is great. I wish they had one near my house.

Negative experience: I am writing because the situation with one of your janitorial staff has become completely unacceptable, and I am done tolerating it. This is not a minor annoyance—this is repeated harassment, targeted behavior, and a blatant lack of professionalism from someone who has no business confronting members the way he does. This janitor has approached me multiple times in the locker room, following me around to lecture me about “making the floor wet” because I came out of the sauna sweating. Meanwhile, there are always several other members exiting the sauna at the same time, equally sweaty and using the facilities exactly the same way I am. He stares at them, says nothing, and then zeroes in on me. Every. Single. Time. Let me be incredibly clear: sweating in a gym—especially coming out of a sauna—is *normal*. Expected. Literally the entire point of the facility I’m paying to use. The fact that your employee thinks it’s appropriate to tell a member to “stop sweating” is absurd. The fact that he told me to wipe down the floors myself because I was “too sweaty” is even more ridiculous. And the fact that he escalated this by running to the front desk to complain about me sweating is beyond unprofessional. He has threatened to “report me” to management for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I’m telling you right now: I will not to be harassed by an employee for using the gym properly. I will not be singled out while others are ignored. And I will not tolerate being followed or spoken to in a disrespectful, confrontational way in the locker room. I’ve been a loyal member here for more than three years. I pay for access to the sauna and locker room like every other member. If your staff cannot handle the incredibly basic reality that people sweat at a gym, then your training and supervision protocols need immediate attention. I expect this issue to be addressed swiftly and directly. If this continues, I will cancel my membership and make it very clear why. I am not going to keep paying for a hostile or uncomfortable environment created by an employee who seems more focused on harassing members than doing his job. Handle this, please.

Fantastic experience: I’m the kind of person who hates waiting for machines, and this gym is huge — I can get through my whole routine without anyone getting in the way. I totally recommend it. If you’re like me, you’ll love it lol.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at this facility. Recently, I discovered that one of the employees had been secretly recording us while we were working out as a group of friends. Even more concerning, when the situation was brought to light, the manager admitted that she had instructed him to do so—all without ever coming to us directly to discuss any supposed issues.( she also mentioned that there are signs all over the facility about not recording.) This is an unsettling and unacceptable breach of trust, privacy, and respect. If there were concerns about our behavior, communication should have happened openly and professionally—not through covert surveillance. She mentioned that our face was blurred, but How do I know that she is not lying. As a member of this facility we deserve transparency and a safe environment, not to be monitored in secret. This experience has greatly damaged my trust in the management here, and I believe serious changes are needed to ensure no other member is treated this way.

Fantastic experience: Great deal for a great gym! Theres not a better deal for what you get here

Negative experience: I’ve been a member for a few years at Results, it’s a huge facility with lots of space and variety which me and my group of friends really enjoyed and loved. Unfortunately I got kicked out because a trainer Robert McCoy accused me of training people under the table when I had made it clear to the staff that we only try use the space in studios while they don’t have a class to work out and i do not get paid at all by any of my friends . In my last day, we even went to the classes and instructor encouraged us to join them. And we would also let people use the space/machines if necessary!! All I did was invite women of any age to join a group to encourage each other to work out . Some women may find themselves with low self-esteem or public anxiety that’s why we created a small group to help each other achieve our fitness and mental goals. Since I joined the gym Robert McCoy has tried to hit on me and my girl friends disguising his approach with “personal training” . From what me and my friends observed Robert seemed to really be bothered with our presence as he was not getting any payment or any intimacy from me or my girl friends and put a complain to the owner. Keep on mind that Robert has been known as a pervert in this facility for the amount of complains he has from women in this gym. I do appreciate the patience and kindness from the staff specially the owner Bob Shepherd and Josh in sales and I apologize for any inconvenience me or any of my girl friends have made. (In response to your comment; at no point did they say that no member could be trained for free, and it wasn't by training their members but by helping my friends who joined their gym because of me. And if you want me to show you photos where they told me it would be better to go to the studios with my friends, let me know. Luckily, you lost more because about 14 people joined because of me, and we all left. Your incompetent trainers were bothered that a simple Latina was training more people than they were at their gym.)

Negative experience: We used to train with a group of friends, and the trainer, Robert, reported that one of those friends was being paid to train us , which is not true. Because of that, we were prohibited from training together as a group at the gym. We decided to cancel our membership. The truth is, we actually felt really good at the gym because the staff was very kind, specially sr Josh…but that trainer took it out on us simply because he didn’t see any benefit from our group. Thanks…

Negative experience: I regret to say that my experience with this establishment has been extremely disappointing and concerning. The front desk staff consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior—disrespectful, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to customer concerns. Instead of fostering a welcoming environment, interactions felt hostile and uncaring. What is even more alarming is that I witnessed a man masturbating in the parking lot WINDOWS DOWN!! HE MADE IT VERY CLEAR WHAT HE WAS DOING. When I brought this serious matter to the staff’s attention, the response I received was apathetic and dismissive, with remarks such as “that has nothing to do with the gym. MAN that’s richmond hwy for ya” and laughs. This is deeply troubling, as such an incident directly affects members’ sense of safety and the overall reputation of the facility. A responsible business should take immediate action to protect and reassure its members, not minimize their concerns. Additionally, when I attempted to cancel my membership due to these issues, I was met with resistance and further disrespect. Rather than addressing the problem with professionalism and care, the staff showed no regard for the gravity of the situation or the basic principle of customer respect. In summary, this establishment prioritizes money over member safety and satisfaction. The lack of professionalism, basic respect, and accountability is unacceptable. For anyone who values safety, courtesy, and integrity in a business, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

One in particular, mean and never hospitable, I hope they will keep him away from the front desk, or at least send him to smiling camp, where he might learn how to use his facial muscles to flip that frown upside down, you will think that he owns the facility

Positive experience: I have been at this gym for about four years. While I like the convenience and price I do have gripes. First facility needs more space for functional training that little space in the corner is not big enough. Equipment everywhere it is crowded with stuff everywhere it is too much like broken stuff and others Equipment constantly broken takes too long to fix. Prices keep going up. Trainers need to be more considerate to other due paying members they act like they own the gym not all but it is enough to notice. Lastly if you are going to have an outside please keep it up

Fantastic experience: Been a member here for over 3 years and we love it. Most affordable compared to other gyms in the area. There is plenty of space and equipment so you typically do not have to weigh for machines even at peak times. And the class offerings are always extensive.

Negative experience: Results fitness is just a convenient gym for me because it offers fairly what I need such as great location, good equipment, management do some good changes from time to time. However, it is a big disappointment that members of staff talk to gym members in a very disrespectful manner. One incident, which happened very recently, has made me very dissatisfied. This male personal trainer named Ife Skinner talked to me in a very challenging and threatening way when he asked me to move myself from the area he so bad wanted to use with the person he was training. An area, where the sled is pushed, that up to this point people use not only for pushing the sled but for other exercises with equipment that belongs to that same area. I would’ve had understood if the other lane was being used but mostly if appropriate tone and attitude, especially from somebody who represents Results Fitness, was present. A female gym member, who heard and saw the whole thing happened, said to me: “he was ready to fight you” when he came in close to my personal space. I personally took offense but not acted upon it, because it was completely unnecessary to overreact and lower myself to his unprofessional provocation and not to mention that I know how to defend myself because that’s the beauty of practicing combat sports. I believe that anyone would agree that speaking aggressively to a customer, guest, or an active gym member for over 5 years is completely unacceptable. This was brought up to the general manager right after it happened who only God knows what he did or not to solve this issue other than smiling at me and acknowledge when I come in or leave the gym. I have now even lower expectations about any issues to ever be solved at the gym. And I say this because ever since this happened, other gym members had told me about issues that they have had in the past and have not properly been addressed by management but I’m not here for that. I’ll stay as a member as long as nobody touches me and again, just for the convenience.

Fantastic experience: I really like results fitness as my gym. Not only is it a 5 minutes drive from my apartment but the gym also has a lot more space and amenities then most gyms. My previous gym had a lot of broken equipment and not very clean. Results gym has new equipment and very clean!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym since the beginning of May, so it’s been about a month now, and so far I’m really happy with it. The facilities are clean and well-organized, and there’s a good variety of equipment, which makes it easy to get a full workout without having to wait too long. One thing I really appreciate is how clean the bathrooms are. It might seem like a small detail, but it definitely makes a difference in how comfortable you feel using the space. The overall vibe is great too and the staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Definitely worth it!

This is a 5-star gym compared to the others, and during my 1 year here, I've seen a phenomenal change and upgrade in the pool, a ladies-only gym, sauna, whirlpool, and an outdoor gym. The staff and trainers are universally friendly and knowledgeable, creating a positive vibe among members, making this gym the best equipped and staffed I've experienced.

It truly has everything, fitness classes, multiple sections in the gym, and a sauna. It does get very busy in the winter so that would be my only critique, but they maintain the crowd well!

Fantastic experience: Results Fitness has changed my life. There is a plethora of individual workout options and amazing, professional personal trainers. But for me, the group fitness classes make all the difference compared to other gyms. Cycling, Sprint, 360 full body Fitness, Body Pump, yoga, Pilates, Les Milles Core, and many more. I can't say enough about Results!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for over 15 years, and have watched as Bob, the devoted manager, has nearly doubled the footprint, including adding a pool, a ladies only gym, sauna, whirlpool and an outdoor gym. He has also invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in the latest equipment. The maintenance staff works hard to keep the equipment, locker rooms, workout areas, etc. in great shape But more important, the staff and trainers are universally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As a result, the members typically display a positive vibe. It's not unusual to see a 220 lb bodybuilder helping a 78-year-old lady with her form. I have been a member of many other gyms over the years and this is by far the best equipped and the best staffed. Thanks for an excellent gym John G.

Fantastic experience: Results is not only the closest gym to my house, it’s also the closet POOL to my house! A truly incredible combo because pools aren’t yet in season (during winter and spring months) and other places have you get a punch card! But here at results, get the full experience of both a gym and a pool, it really is the best of both worlds. I’ve had a great experience with this gym for the past two years. very military friendly.

Negative experience: Tried to recruit two of my siblings to the gym, unfortunately the people at the front desk aren’t knowledgeable enough to be working there. Extremely disappointing, canceling all of our memberships.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here since late 2022 and haven't really had an issue. Their main selling point was a lowly month cost with the standard amenities that come with any normal gym. However, I didn't feel compelled to write this positive review until recently. See - I had just signed up for physical trainer to the tune of $400 a month when 3 (business) days in I incurred a mammoth expense that would preclude me from being able to afford the PT. I was a little worried they'd fight me on cancellation but neither the trainer I signed up for nor the owner, who I spoke to, gave me any issue. Both were completely polite and courteous. About two weeks later, I got a refund for $300 (-$100 because I had one session with the trainer). I just wanted to highlight this interaction when sub-standard customer service seems to be the norm everywhere else.

Positive experience: Overall great gym , only issue is mens sauna being hot . Always have to ask to have them reset in the mornings , would be great if they can find a way to stay on top of that , especially when people like me are on a time . Theres one Nigerian guy whos always there working locker room , very nice guy . I love how he always speak . Best gym ive joined

Negative experience: been going to this gym for a month without any issues till recently I had somebody who works there go up to me and tell me they’d terminate my contract due to cellphone use while I’m a beginner setting up timers for each set and I only use my phone in between sets just for a min or two, it was unbelievable being told that.

Positive experience: I'm currently a member. For the price, it's what I expected. The fitness classes are great. The ladies locker rooms are kept clean and dry expertly. The ladies area is a nice feature but it's hot in the back. They have extra fans at least. It'd be nice if there was updated equipment there. The pool is mostly well maintained but sometimes it has debris and such in it which is frustrating. The pool lights also pop out. I gave the gym 3 stars because of some maintenance issues overall. Some of the showers have loose or missing drains, the pool is a bit rusty and can get a little dirty, and some of the equipment overall needs to be switched out for new.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Results Fitness for the last couple months and it is the best gym I have been to in the Northern VA area. It is spacious and has an excellent selection of high-quality equipment. The staff at the front desk are friendly and welcome you when you arrive. The cleaning staff do an excellent job maintaining the workout area as well as the locker room. The sauna and pool are nice as well. There is plenty of free parking if you drive. Overall, Results Fitness is a great place to workout.

Negative experience: As a long term member of Results, I drove an hour to pick up my nephew and cousin so they could accompany me to Results. We had visited before, and we had no trouble signing for my underage cousin and didn't need to present any documentation other than my ID proving I was at least eighteen. However, the guest policy states AT THE FRONT DESK that if there is a member who is underage, you need a parent or guardian to sign off on them, a fact I had previously been informed by several staff members. I was then informed that I had to be 25 years old and present proof of some sort of custody that i needed to go to a judge to get a stamp. This was not mentioned in the guest policy anywhere on the website or in person. I don't believe the staff member when they tell me that they "called" the owner after that. In Virginia, you are regarded as a legal adult once you turn 18 and should be able to sign documents on behalf of others especially those to who are related to you. Because of my frustrations, I'm thinking of canceling my membership. I was hoping to attract more members to results, but the lack of transparency and a clear policy discouraged them. the manager told me that she needs to "train her staff better" or that you should perhaps make the policy obvious at the front desk.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the sudden increase of almost tripling the cost of daily childcare. That was one of the biggest reasons I joined this gym so will most likely be canceling my membership when my contract is up. A shame they don’t stick to the pricing you agree to in your written and signed contracts.

Negative experience: It was perfect for $35 a month I signed a contract even in daycare $2 per child, and from one day to the next they do not notify you they do not send you any email with any information about any changes since if you sign a contract you do not have to charge yourself more, now Daycare no longer costs $2 per child but $5 for 2 hours. Can you imagine if you have more than one child paying $5 each time for 2 hours? It is preferable to pay your family and give up the gym, what is annoying is not even the payment but rather that they do not comply with what they said when signing the contract so if you go to this gym expect them to charge you without warning or make one-day changes for another without warning...

Negative experience: Beware of this place and their ultraslim program. They ripped me off Approximately $3000 Never provided me a cancellation upon request the same day, breach of contract, never provided me the service that I paid for and had to deal with unprofessional behavior and situations almost criminal they need to be investigated .

Fantastic experience: Very large gym, but very inviting. Numerous classes available for all fitness types. Childcare is also available at certain times for a very small fee.

Negative experience: WARNING DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM. I never once visited this place in my life never lifted a weight or seen a machine yet they have taken me to court to receive money for a membership that was never used. We all know a contract is legally binding and we forget to unsubscribe from things. Never did I think this would lead to consistent phone and endless emails. After they get with there dollar trail period the contract is for a year. They will charge you for the full after 30 days even if you never go. Then they send it to collections and garnish your wages if you don’t take their buy out offer. It’s a RACKET. They have a team of in place to make sure the process is swift. If I ever got anything like phone or a couch or car I would understand because they company lost something. This gym didn’t lose a thing they are always on the winning said you pay and work out their they pressure you to buy time with a trainer as all gyms do, you don’t pay they take you to court for the membership. How can they lose? It’s sad to see a company that does business this way. They literally aren’t losing anything but I struggle to make my rent on time due to there theft. It’s really sad…… This happened 4 weeks previously This gym is a scam how they have 5/5 is outrageous they have an offer for a dollar……little do you know it signs you up for year membership and start the billing even if you have NEVER been inside there gym. Then when you call they say it’s in the contract and that when you signed up you agreed to the full year of you don’t cancel. If you have NEVER entered a business how could you owe them HUNDREDS of dollars. SCAM, I was told that I could buy my way out of a contract for a service I’ve never used!!!!!!!!!!!
