Tons of weight, zero egos and all the equipment you could ask for, whether you’re lifting heavy, cutting or just putting in the work. Highly recommend for anyone who’s serious about their fitness!

Fantastic experience: This is a tough 24hr gym. A veteran owned with some equipment I had never used before. The staff was cool and gave a rundown on everything.

Fantastic experience: Without question the best gyms in Northern Virginia and Maryland! I did my first bodybuilding competition and won my IFBB pro card training at DMV Iron in Alexandria and Falls Church routinely. The posing rooms and lighting are excellent and whether you compete or simply want to see your progress, you will be impressed. The equipment selection, the staff professionalism and expertise, the atmosphere and community are all top tier and support progression regardless of your goal. It's nearly impossible to not be motivated training here. The configuration is intuitive and well thought out making it quick and easy to acclimate and navigate when new to the gym. I miss training here and look forward to visiting the area just to train - the facilities are that amazing.

Positive experience: Best way to describe it is a modern day Golds Gym. Weight lifters dream. Would be nice to see some other amenities for the price but otherwise clean and a good place to realize your goals. 24/7 is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I needed help passing a fitness test for my job, so I decided to try DMV Iron after the gym next door did not provide the results I had hoped for. At first, I was intimidated to come here, but I was lucky to have Nick as my personal trainer! He’s a great motivator and made me feel at ease. Very quickly, I knew I had made the right choice. With Nick’s help, I was able to easily pass my test and learn how to safely and correctly deadlift. More importantly, I now have the confidence and knowledge to train independently. I highly recommend giving DMV Iron a try, especially their personal training services. It is definitely worth the investment!

Negative experience: The one in fallschurch is 10 stars, this one is just like a normal gym, just ok. At least theres no pods like purefitness Edit: how are you closed on new years?

Fantastic experience: While I’m too far away to become a member this gym is worth a drive from Southern Maryland as my schedule permits to get in a solid workout in. As a competitive powerlifter the barbell room is set up nicely to hit any of the Big Three with comp grade equipment and then to go hit your accessories in the main gym! I’m like a kid in a candy store! And whenever I’ve had questions about any of the equipment - no matter how innocuous - staff has always been kind and patient taking their time to show and explain. Also, other lifters are nice and supportive in the barbell room. Getting a liftoff or a spot along with encouragement is awesome. Super positive environment. Please DMV Iron: open a gym in Southern Maryland!

Fantastic experience: Visited this gym 2x while on vacation. Both days I went very late around 11pm-1am, so I can’t say how crowded it gets during peak times. But the equipment is top notch and the employee at the front desk was friendly and professional getting me checked in. BIG gym with lots of unique/rare pieces of equipment (both old equipment you don’t see often as well as new equipment). gym members seemed great, re-racked weights, had good etiquette, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I began working out at DMV Iron two years ago when I was introduced to my trainer Oscar. I hadn't had any kind of regular exercise routine in a very long time and was looking to make long term changes and lose weight. I had a lot of anxiety about going back to the gym and when I first saw the very fit clientele I was wondering if it was the right place for me. That all fell away after my first workout. The community within DMV Iron is welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental. The entire staff is very friendly, the facilities are impressive, and the equipment is well maintained. I always look forward to seeing Zeke at the front desk! I began working out with my trainer Oscar once a week. We discussed my goals and he has worked with me on customized workouts for my progress. I began to feel much better and have consistently seen the results. I went from seeing Oscar once a week, then twice, and now I'm working out with him three times a week. His workouts not only keep me accountable, but they push me to the next level in my fitness and strength. When I began, even the simple warmups were challenging and I felt overwhelmed. Oscar has been awesome about figuring what works best for me and also challenging me on the exercises I don't think I can do. In my time working out with Oscar, I have lost over 50 lbs. and I feel incredible. I'm not sure I will ever "love" going to the gym, but I do LOVE the feeling I have after a workout and seeing my results. I also know I'm stronger and healthier than I've been most of my adult life and look forward to improving even more. I couldn't have done that without Oscar, he's truly the best!

Fantastic experience: Great functional space at this location. I love the powerlifting side with the big turf and all the strongman equipment. I love having access to calibrated plates and heavy bells. All of the body building specific machines are an added bonus. The 24 hour access is what usually brings me here, as I have another primary gym membership a bit closer to me. It can be pretty quiet here at off peak hours and I love the peace of mind I get knowing there won’t be a huge crowd. Great space!

I have been to nearly all famous bodybuilding gyms in the country (golds gym Venice, ambrust pro, dragons lair, montanari bros, etc) and DMV iron gym easily ranks among the best gyms in the country. Well worth the trip no matter where you are in the DMV area. George in Alexandria was helpful and very friendly.

There is a lot of care that goes into maintaining the equipment and keeping the facility clean- this is attributed to the amazing and attentive staff. Fantastic experience: DMV is truly the best gym in the world! Since joining last month, I've had some of the most effective workouts in years. I am in my 40s, but I feel 21 again! Believe it or not I have three other gym memberships, but no place compares! The equipment here is one-of-a-kind, making it a bodybuilder's paradise. Though I often arrive late due to my work schedule, I want to give a special shout-out to Mike, who is there on Saturday nights, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I've only been here a week and it's easily the best gym I've ever been too in terms of equipment. I had a great training session with Richard, who showed me some new equipment, shared lots of knowledge with me, and definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone in a supportive way. Fantastic experience: Other gyms have broken equipment for months. This gym has constantly new equipment coming in. Other gyms have 4-5 kids hanging out by the only incline bench on a Monday 6pm. This gym has 10+ Incline machines and there’s no kids here. Everyone is a grown man trying to workout. The only issue is that the falls church gym is the mega location and I live near the Alexandria location
