Fantastic experience: One of the Best gyms in the DMV area. Every machine , bar, weight, dumbbell you can imagine and then some. Big space and then a whole other space for the power lifters. Great rates for that accommodate any schedule too. Come change your life here!!!

Fantastic experience: The best gym you will find in the DMV area period! Two buildings worth of equipment! The owner is so knowledgeable and cares about keeping the equipment in its best condition for the members, not to mention they have some fantastic equipment that you will never find at some commercial gym and they are always updating! The staff are the best, super friendly and encouraging! You don’t have to be a bodybuilder to go here you just have to be serious about your health! The prices are great too! You are definitely getting your money’s worth at this gym. And it’s 24 hours…. I mean c’mon guys it’s a no brainer! Did I mention the owner actually cares!!!!! He turned a second building into the barbell club because he recognized the need for an area for people training strength sports. If that’s not paying attention to your members I don’t know what is!!! The members are great people too! Always willing to exchange information and help someone out! The owner encourages no bad attitudes when you come into his gym and you can tell the members appreciate that and show respect to everyone. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone in the area! You won’t find a better deal!!!!

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in the DMV. Equipment is top notch, you’ll never see equipment like this at any other gym. Everyone is so nice and friendly. It can be intimidating at first, but get rid of that fear in your head because joining this gym is the best thing you could do for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for a few weeks and must say that I’m beyond impressed! Sign up was seamless and I was even given a tour although they were super busy. It’s rare to find a gym that puts people over profit, provides a first rate experience, prides it’s on having the most cutting edge equipment and has cultivated a gym culture of inclusivity. This gym has something for everyone; from beginners to professional athletes. If you are looking for a gym home, this may just be it! They are also metro accessible.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever been to in my life! While being Active Duty in Washington DC in the Air Force, I was a member of this gym the entire time. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training and around gyms since 1992. This is by far the best gym with the best selection of customized, one of a kind equipment that you can find. The gym is great for every level, but if you are a serious bodybuilder, or a power lifter and you are a member of DMV IRON, you are lucky, as you are getting a competitive edge that others aren’t. It’s like a big box gym, but without the corporate BS. Thank you, Leo, for creating such a great environment.

There's a great culture here, there is a habit for members re-rack their weights and wipe down machines after usage. Fantastic experience: DMV Iron gym one of the best gyms in Northern Virginia! From the atmosphere to the premium/innovative equipment is truly one of a kind, I think Leo has maybe one of three machines in the world ever created on the east coast! People complain about the price of membership and day passes, because this isn’t your average gym your used to. This gym has seminars and resources and amazing trainers for people to learn from and be better tell me what other gym does that?! If you don’t realize what you’re getting here and don’t see it for yourself you maybe need to get your eyes checked out (I’m farsighted btw!) or you’re just ignorant of everything. People come to this gym to train and put in work, this is not a place for a pool/ daycare or do pics for the gram! Respect the gym and it will respect you back!!

No one has put more time and money into researching and finding the best equipment for their members and truly refusing to be satisfied with anything less than perfect. If you are anywhere close, a membership is a must - and if you are far away, you still need to plan a visit!

Fantastic experience: I was so excited to join this gym after reading so many positive reviews. However, when I tried to pay the 12-month contract up front I was told no. I don't understand. It's a win-win situation. I get reimbursed by my employer and they get 12 months of gym membership and fees paid upfront. I guess DMV Iron doesn't want my business.

Fantastic experience: My friend used to work for a supplement store in NoVA and witnessed when Leo, the owner of dmv iron gym, was contacted by the store because they recognized one of the members of his gym stealing from their store and Leo came all the way to the store to pay for what this person stole so he wouldn’t get arrested because according to Leo”his mother was in the hospital with cancer so he was going through a hard time”. Very few business owners truthfully care about their members the way Leo does.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to DMV Iron since day one. It was one building and the owner Leo had a dream and a plan to make it come to life. Ever since I have been there Leo has been fair and consistent with any members and addressed problems instantly. Making sure to keep a safe and comfortable environment for all members. I have watched over the years as Leo dumped profit straight back into the company and turned DMV Iron into the Mecca that it is becoming today. Whether you are a serious bodybuilder or just trying to improve yourself DMV Iron is a solid choice!

Fantastic experience: A true bodybuilding gym! Every piece of equipment imaginable and then some. Tried the gym on a day pass as it is a little too far for me to join as a regular. Hope they open some additional locations, it was an amazing workout

Fantastic experience: My gf and I joined this gym about 6 months back. This gym is incredible. I call it a clean and nice "meathead" gym which is unusual in a good way. The equipment is insanely good and hard to find anywhere else. The owner constantly makes improvements. The members are nice and rack the weights (my biggest pet peeve at most gyms!). The gym is very clean and well taken care of. I have been to a lot of gyms from Lifetime to LA to competitor gyms like Metroflex, Miami Strong and a few others in the Dallas area mainly. Nothing against those gyms but this gym is simply better. This gym helped springboard me into my first competition in over 4.5 years however not everyone who comes here is a competitor. There are all kinds of gym goers here which makes the environment that much better. Even with gas prices how they are now I drive my truck 30 mins to this gym everyday and I never regret it. The price is very affordable especially considering the gym is always improving which is tough because it is already great. I cannot recommend this gym enough. Also as a quick aside this gym has 282 reviews (incl this one) with 9 1 stars where it seems like only one person was even a member, 2 3 stars and 2 4 stars. The rest are 5 stars which is absolutely unheard of when it comes to any type of business. That is all you need to know. A very good case could be made that this is the best gym in America.

Fantastic experience: Great modern equipment and really nice, friendly clientele. Came here for a body building posing event and the event was run really well in a different part of the gym that wouldn't disrupt other patrons.

Fantastic experience: Really great boutique gym. I'd say most of the lifters here are exceptional and serious about the sport, so if that's your style you'll feel right at home. Their leg curl machine was the most stable I've ever felt. They have all the machines you want and the machines are smooth, solid, and symmetric. This gym was built by someone who knew their stuff.

Fantastic experience: Hands down best gym you can go to in the DMV area, and I’ll tell you why. If you’ve frequented gyms on and off the past 15 years like me, you’ve probably noticed that the gyms you go to are mostly all franchises, thus all the equipment is virtually the same where ever you go. DMV iron switches it up - they spent money on getting the best machines that money can buy, so as to provide their customers with the best workout possible. Long story short, no other gym has the type of equipment they have. The atomosphere is super positive, the people are great, like minded individuals all pursuing their own goals and supporting one another in the process, and the sense of community is astoundingly motivating. No other gym I’ve been to compares. Atmosphere is truly unique.

Fantastic experience: After going through many gyms within the local area over the years of living here. DMV is home! I wish I had found out about this location sooner. The facility is spacious, and the equipment is the best in the region! The owner takes pride in their gym, and it shows. Seeing it grow even more over the last year has been awesome. Continually improved upon through curating elite -one-of-a-kind equipment and improvement of amenities. The location is great, and easy to walk to right off the metro. In addition a recent announcement of an upcoming expansion with a second location with even more space is exciting. I’d happily pay more than what I was paying for at a previous gym in the DC and VA area that are double of what the dues are here. You simply cannot beat the value of 24/hr access along with the variety of equipment and friendliness of the staff continually exceed my expectations. It is an excellent value. Fantastic experience: Unequivocally, the BEST gym in the NOVA/DC/MD region. As a bodybuilder, this is the true lifter’s playground. As a fitness enthusiast, you WlLL love it just as equally. There is no shortage of equipment to meet your fitness goals and needs. Plus, everyone is incredibly friendly and supportive… and, puts their weights away, unlike what you’ll find at most corporate gyms. Oh.. and the gym is incredibly clean. Personally, for me, making the switch from a local corporate gym to DMV Iron was the BEST decision.

Fantastic experience: I joined DMV Iron in April of 2021 in hopes to find a gym that can challenge me, become family to me and continue to accomplish my goals in. Boy, this gym exceeded my expectations. Worth my 20-25 min drive and could have stuck out the gym across from me. Leo creates the most welcome atmosphere in the DMV area. He hand picks various equipments that are simply unique, has them polished or puts them together knowing it has a specific purpose. Alongside with the best equipment, has the best community along with it. Have grown mentally and physically just by joining this gym. Fantastic experience: Great wide selection of equipment for HIIT & bodybuilding, and a massive amount of space. I LOVE all the equipment here, definitely better than the standard equipment you get from most cookie cutter gyms. Especially if you are on the taller side, above 6 ft The Leg side of the gym is my favorite. Squat Pro, Pendelum, and the Hip Press are some of must haves, so glad they are at DMV. Folks are generally friendly and when I go from 11A to 2P the massive size gym is at a very comfortable capacity. Can’t say enough great things about this gym.

Fantastic experience: Really great community built with care by the owner to facilitate the fitness needs of first responders, military, pro level bodybuilders, and anyone looking to train seriously with the best equipment in the game. A lot of reviews don't mention how great the lighting and mirrors are in the building. Being able to see the progress you put in is critical and the confidence boost that comes with the lighting at dmv iron is a total underrated value.

Fantastic experience: Hands down this is the best gym I’ve ever been too. They have everything plus that you need. The machines are easier on your joints. The owner really pays attention to what is needed. Looking forward to seeing this gym grow. I haven’t personally met the owner yet but from what I am hearing he is pretty cool and laid back. Fantastic experience: I recently switched to this gym and I’m so happy I did. There are SO MANY awesome pieces of equipment there. I’ve been able to really improve my workouts because of all the options. In the 2 months I’ve been going there, the owner has brought in several new machines. He’s always looking for ways to improve the gym and make the members happy. The place is clean and the members are nice. People have been happy to show me how to use equipment when I asked. If I had one criticism I’d say it would be nice to have some lockers. But really, that’s not a big deal at all. This really is the best gym in the area.

Fantastic experience: I have lived all over the country and this is by far the BEST gym I have ever been to in my life. I had been feeling really depressed during quarantine and I really needed a change of scenery so I signed up after my sister referred me. Fantastic experience: As a girl I am always cautious about gyms. But this gym is amazing! I had so much fun there! Everyone was really cool and made me feel very welcome my first work out! I never saw the Pit Shark before, but oh my gosh it was amazing for my glutes! You have got to try this machine out!
