Fantastic experience: I have always been nervous to start out at a new gym, but as soon as I walked in, I was welcomed. Everyone is there to improve themselves and help you improve yourself as well. The gym has everything you’d need to get any work out necessary completed. I really enjoy my workouts when I’m there and plan to continue to have many more.

This is the best powerlifting gym in the state in my opinion. Management is professional and memberships are very affordable. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to several gyms in Albuquerque and Los lunas and this is by far the best one I’ve been to. Everyone is genuine and nice. I love the gym atmosphere and everyone is supportive! I have seen the most improvement at legion. If you have your doubts about it I encourage you try it out. This gym is for people who are genuinely focused on improvement and becoming the best version of themselves. This is more than a gym it’s a second home and a family.

Fantastic experience: This has been the best gym I’ve been to in Albuquerque by far! This gym attracts great people, great music, and huge support for the fitness industry. Coming to this gym has been a benefit for my fitness goals and I couldn’t do it without Legion Iron and the people there!

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym about a year ago when I was trying to lose weight. The owner was more than kind and very supportive. He has created an environment that makes his members feel like family. I could not recommend this gym more to anyone who is looking to make the most out of their fitness goals! Since I’ve joined, I’ve lost over 101lbs, had constant support from Garret and other members, and have made life long friends along the way. I refuse to go to another gym now.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Legion since it opened, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! If you’re sick of high priced gyms and sick of waiting to use a squat rack then you should check Legion Iron out. Oh and they’re not gonna shame you for dropping the bar when deadlifting (cuz duh weights are heavy and they make a sound when dropping). One of the most important things, is it’s female friendly. As a female, I don’t feel gawked at when I work out there which is refreshing. Feel free to do some hip thrusts or whatever, and no one is going to look at you weird. All in all it’s a good, affordable gym for all levels. If you’re a beginner it’s a really great place to learn weightlifting/powerlifting because most people there do it and are willing to help!

Fantastic experience: I love this Gym.. I suffered a heart attack a few years ago and everybody was very supportive for me to get back into the lifting. Because of this gym I was able to bounce back and get stronger faily quickly. This gym is more than a gym because it provides a family and a support system. Everybody that comes in to this gym comes in to work, so if your not willing to put in the sweat, blood, and tears this Gym is not for you. In this gym we are all equal and we let the iron separate the boys from the men. This Gym is not for the weak minded..

We needed a place to train prior to the meet and Legion Iron provided an incredible training environment, with great atmosphere, quality equipment, and tremendous hospitality. I would 100% recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place to train!

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best one in town by far! The equipment is great, the atmosphere is great, and the hours are great... it never closes! You can choose your own music and there are basically no rules besides don't break equipment or sneak in your friends! And the owner Garrett is very handsome.

Fantastic experience: Legion Iron is a really big facility with a really great atmosphere. I found refuge there after going to different CrossFit gyms, and I prefer it to other lifting gyms I've been to. Plus being able to come in whenever I want is one of the best parts.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly staff very casual atmosphere equipment is brand new and just being built and the staff is very accommodating. the big open high ceilings and Warehouse Loft type atmosphere is extremely awesome and the future plans for a doggie park so you can bring your dog while you work out is incredibly awesome.

Fantastic experience: I visited this gym as I was traveling through New Mexico to Arizona. I received a personal tour of the facilities by the gym owner himself. This gym has private bathroom facilities, a free weight area, custom decor, custom squat racks, deadlift platforms, fan cooling system, and more! All the bars are new and come with lock grips so you dont need your own. The look of the gym alone gives it a badass vibe. If you are looking for a powerlifting gym in Albuquerque say check Legion Iron out first. P.S. They have Monster Energy drinks here too!

Fantastic experience: I tried this gym wheb travelling through and was extremely impressed. This is an extremely good gym with specialty bars. However you train, whether it is powerlifting, weightlifting, bodybuilding or Crossfit, you will be able to do it at this gym. There are multiple platforms for deadlifting and also cages for squatting and benching. Great atmosphere as the owners are actually strong and love training. This gym lives up to all of these reviews. It is also an excellent price for what you get. I only wish i lived there! If you also have the urge to bust a nut in the gym then that's also fine as Garrett probably has already done so.

Fantastic experience: Great facility! They have any type of fitness training you need, be that of bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, or CrossFit. The owners are amazing and have great knowledge in fitness, especially powerlifting. Everyone here is very welcoming. Unlike a couple other local gyms here in Alberquque. I’ve been to a local gym here and have been made fun/criticizes for wearing compression tights. For example, questioning my sexuallity in a very aggressive manner.Here at Legion Iron, there is none of that negative attitude, only positive and supportive members. Please visit this gym if you get the chance! I believe the day passes are $20 and they have deals for students and such.

Fantastic experience: Only gym in Albuquerque that gives af about deadlifts. Very nice equipment. The only thing that feels better than L.I.’s red cerakote Ohio bar is the stroke of LongMint.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been and don’t live in New Mexico but I’ve been following massthetics since I’ve started powerlifting 4-5 years ago. Your OG conjugate program was the GOAT ❤️. This gym is probably going to be one of the best powerlifting gyms ever opened up. Y’all better prepare for some top notch equipment.

The owners, Garrett and Simon, have separated themselves from others in the industry by their mentality and ambitions. These two have developed a welcoming culture at legion iron and I recommend anyone, near or far, to check this place out.

Fantastic experience: Greatest gym in this Hemisphere. The equipment is state of the art and so many barbells you could smelt them into another legion iron. The owners are demigods who bless you with superhuman strength as you walk through their doors. Studies show that testosterone production goes up approximately 23-28% during your time spent in this gym. Planet fitness was forced to shut down next door because of the snowflakes being scared of real lifters passing by plummeting their memberships. Women have been shown to produce worldclass athletes as children after having sex when having gone to this gym. Would reccomend

Unfortunately I am from out of town, and just stopped in to train while away for business. I’ve been lifting for 7 years and would give anything for this to be my gym in my hometown. If you’re a local, and not training here, you’re wasting your money and time.
