Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable behavior from gym management — avoid this place at all costs. I was in the locker room last night at 8:03 pm, calmly packing up my things, when the GM, Kim, stormed in aggressively and started shouting at me to “get out” — as if I were trespassing or causing a scene. I told him, “I’m packing up right now, almost done.” But instead of showing basic human decency, he escalated, yelling: “No, you need to get out right now!” “You’re the only one here!” “Do you want to be a member here?” Shocked by his tone, I responded, “You see me putting my stuff in my bag and putting my shoes on — what’s your problem, dude?” But Kim continued berating me in a loud, confrontational voice: “You need to get out right now.” “You can’t be a member here if you do this.” “Insurance says no one can be here after 8 PM.” I was already walking out — maybe a minute after it started — and tried to speak with him calmly outside to express that his tone and behavior were completely inappropriate. He cut me off again, yelling, “No, you need to get out, I have work to do.” No apology, no professionalism — just raw, hostile disrespect. This was, without exaggeration, the most infuriating and humiliating experience I’ve ever had with any business. I’ve been a loyal member for over 3 years, but ever since Kim took over nearly 2 years ago, it’s been clear he has no interest in treating people with respect — especially not Black men like myself. He walks around the facility with a toxic mix of arrogance and entitlement, smiling and chatting up certain members while acting irritated and dismissive toward others. The racial undertones are not subtle. I’ve kept quiet for too long because the gym itself met my fitness needs, but this level of unprovoked aggression and disrespect crosses a line. It's a disgrace to the previous management, who ran the gym with fairness and professionalism. Now? It’s like the place is run by an impulsive, power-tripping child. And let’s be clear: there is no legitimate insurance policy that justifies screaming at a paying customer who is calmly exiting the locker room three minutes after closing. That’s not policy — that’s ego and hostility on full display. If you value respect, fairness, or basic human decency, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. This place is toxic under current management, and frankly, Kim is a liability to this business and a danger to its reputation.

Positive experience: This was the only gym I could find South of Destination that was worth the price. The second day the owner was kind of c wordish about me wearing Crocs. Not a big deal, he may not have meant it to come off that way, but it was still a rude thing to do when I had no way of knowing he hated Crocs. Kind of killed my interest in going since it was forty minutes away so I only went a handful of times. When I wanted to cancel I found out they make you pay to send a certified letter before they will let you, during which time they charged me again. So if I was closer I'd probably still be going here, but the owner could also dial back the sassy frat kid energy. Still a solid gym.

Negative experience: Whatever you do don’t attend this gym. The cancellation policy is horrible. Every time I call they come up with an excuse or say that an employee is no longer working there. Kim Santos the GM does not care about anyone. She says she understands but won’t help. Overall terrible staff.

Positive experience: The gym has top-notch equipment and offers a great variety of options for every muscle workout. However, I hope they fix their treadmills soon—only two are currently working, and one of them has stopped intermittently on me twice, nearly causing a knee injury.

Negative experience: This place is a dump and ownership is shady. The positive reviews are paid for.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym. I was a member for over a year and half and I had to end my membership due to health reasons. I have tried to cancel three times. They refused to cancel my membership because I have a so called balance, but I have not stepped foot in the facilities since May 2024. The gym was going down when I ended up leaving; broken machines for weeks, no towels (I had to start bringing my own towels. My trainer doesn’t even train clients there anymore because of how shady the ownership is. There are so many more options in the area that treat members with respectfully. I do not mind paying for services but I am not longer using these services/facilities. Even the folks I used to train with no longer are members because of how terribly this gym is ran. These positive reviews probably are incentive/rebate driven. I have contacted my attorney and I have already written to the Texas Attorney General.

Fantastic experience: Precision Fitness offers an amazing community culture that makes me feel right at home. Jay at the front desk is the GOAT, and Jaden the trainer is incredibly informative and helpful. While the price is higher, it’s worth it for the clean, polished environment and the fact that it’s never overcrowded. Some machines could use maintenance or replacement, but it’s a minor issue compared to how much better it is than my previous commercial gym, which felt hostile and uncomfortable. Overall, I’m very happy here.

Negative experience: Stay away from this facility. They will charge you forever. I have tried many times to cancel the membership, and each time they said it is canceled. And, then they will charge you again. They prey on you. The worst customer experience I ever had.

Despite following the proper steps to cancel my membership, they kept charging me month after month. Their contracts are misleading, and it seems like they deliberately make it hard for customers to leave. Be very careful about signing anything here, or better yet, take your business to a gym that values honesty and customer service.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym. It was great years ago when it was extreme iron. Now it’s dirty. Most of the machines are ripped. None of the benches have wheels and the management could care less. I am disabled that I am legally blind and cannot drive. Due to unfortunate circumstance I have to move and as soon as I ask the management how I can get out of my contract, they began ignoring me. I am moving to McKinney, and there is no way I can Uber back-and-forth to this gym and they will not return my phone calls or my emails. They will not address the fact that the equipment is dirty or not maintain either. It is not worth the money and $10 a month. You can get one at Crunch with brand new equipment.

If you really enjoy working out and appreciate quality machines and their movements you’ll love this gym. They play the music loud and it feels like a pro gym where the people just love working out as opposed to somewhere like lifetime fitness that is all about the extras. Recommend it for sure!

Fantastic experience: Started coming to Precision about a year ago after moving to Dallas and it was one of the best gym experiences I’ve ever had and grateful for my time training there while I was able to! The assistant GM Benny is a class act and ensures the facility is handled properly! Anytime I come back to Dallas I wouldn’t hesitate to train there!

Negative experience: Horrible experience all around, owner/manager are scam artist trying to get money anyway they can.

Negative experience: Gym is good looking and all. But customer service was terrible. I sent a mail of membership cancellation for one of my parents, yet that same day of cancelling they charged another yearly fee. I tried to tell them and asked for a refund. But they said no they couldn't bc their system wouldn’t allow it. So I had no choice than to report to the bank. I got my money back, but these people were upset about it. After that there has been a dilema I was unaware about. After the claim, apparently my bank didn’t let the gym withdraw the monthly fees anymore. One of the guys told me about it and said that I couldn’t go in anymore till the payment went through. So it’s been two months that I didn’t go, plus I was out of town. When I came back I made sure and was convinced everything was okay. But no, while working out, one of the guys there came up to me and humiliated me that if I didn’t have money to pay my bills, I would had to get out of their floor, right in front of everyone. It is important to talk, ask and clear any misunderstandings before going straight into that public humiliation. But that is not the correct way to talk to anyone, especially to a young lady. When I tried to explain them the misunderstanding, their typical excuse was “we weren’t there when that happened”‍♀️ reason being bc there were new owners. No this was just terrible. And they even wanted to charge me for the 2 months I wasn’t allowed to go. Can you believe this? All because they tried to overcharge but couldn’t get away with it. I decided to immediately cancel my membership. And didn’t care about those 2 monthly fees. I just told them to charge it from my parents card and that’s it. Now guess what? Months later I received a call from collections recently letting me know that there is still that same balance pending, and it will get reported to MY credit history. And all this drama bc of getting charged unfairly in the beginning. I’m barely building up my credit history, now I get this?? Why to this extreme?? Let me tell y’all if you consider getting a membership here, I am no one to tell you not to, but you’ll have to keep a good eye, and be aware. Good luck.

Negative experience: BEWARE of contracts. I got a membership in December 2023. Never did they mention anything about a contract!!!! Only that they had a promo going on at the time. I moved more than 24 miles away from the gym, I sent a letter of cancellation. And unfortunately they could not cancel due to a “contract” I never was explained about. Be careful before signing anything. Now I am stuck paying a gym membership that I don’t even go to. Lack or training to their employees, and still end up blaming their members. What a joke.

Negative experience: Had a bunch of people looking to get an early start on New Years goals so took them here, unfortunately they closed at 6. Kind of early to close, fortunately Absolute Recomp was open, they're open 24/7 so took this group there instead. They loved Absolute Recomp! 4 new gym memberships that could've gone to Precision had they stayed open a bit later.

Negative experience: Cancelation process is ridiculous. I called and someone said I had to go in so I went in and they told me I had to write a letter about wanting to cancel and get it certified and mail it in to which they will EMAIL ME A CONFIRMATION. I said can I just send a confirmation email that I want to cancel and they said no, "that's not how it works."

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with outstanding staff, shoutout to Benni, he always has gone above and beyond in servicing any questions about the gym. Great facilities especially in terms of weight equipment. Was a member for a few months and never had a single negative experience, unfortunately, due to the cancellation policy not fitting my moral compass, I have cancelled my membership here. I look forward to rejoining this gym once changes to this policy is made.

Fantastic experience: I found this gym online, and let me tell you. The best gym I have visited in a long time!! The staff is friendly and extremely professional. The equipment is state of the art !! There’s machines I never seen anywhere else. The vibe is great and left super motivated and with a year contract. Definitely 10/10 gym !!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here since August 2022, amazing group of people doing amazing stuff. Coach or not a coach, people always looking to help and genuinely some of the nicest guys in the industry. It’s is the right amount of busy for me where you are motivated but also not waiting on any machine for more than 2-3 minutes.

Positive experience: Staff members are welcoming and it's usually not too crowded when I visit (which is after 6ish on weekdays). Bathrooms are clean and weights are usually racked as well. However, I would like water that isn't Dasani and/or a water fountain that doesn't require a bottle.

Negative experience: Awkward scam artists. Since I am a student and I signed a student agreement, there was supposed to be no annual fee. Of course they charged anyways. I sent a copy of the contract, which has NO NUMBER for an annual fee. The guy with bad communication skills informed me that I should have known there would be a fee. This is an obvious violation of contract law in the state of Texas. Also, I paid for a sauna membership in the past and the saunas barely work and take 45 minutes to warm up, the treadmills are sub-par, and knowing the age of the gym it is obvious that quiet a bit of the equipment was bought used. It may be the only lifting gym in the area, but it's still a rip-off.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for this gym for roughly a year and a half. There are a lot of members here who compete in bodybuilding and figure competitions, so many people film their workouts and bring their tripods to the gym. I also record my workouts so there’s no awkward feeling of being the only one. The gym also has a nice posing room which is open for all members to stretch, do their workouts, etc. The gym is also very clean, you always see the front desk crew with the vacuum, or organizing the weights on the floor. Always fresh towels stocked and the women’s restroom is always very clean. The gym has a great variety of machines, free weights, and squat racks. The environment and the overall vibe is very welcoming and encouraging.

Negative experience: The owner showed up out of nowhere and chewed me out because I was gonna leave my car parked in front of their building. I’m a paying member of this gym, and I work across the SHARED parking lot. Other members of this gym park outside of our building all the time. When I made this point he threatened to have my car towed. The parking lot was nearly empty at this time. I moved my car. He could have asked nicely instead of letting his frustration out on me. I’m cancelling my membership.

Fantastic experience: I underestimated this gym. It’s actually a lot better than I thought it would be! My results have been significantly faster working out here than 24 hour fitness. If you are trying to get in shape? This is the place to go. It’s helped me with my depression, PTSD, & several other things in my life that I struggle with everyday.

Positive experience: Before you judge the rating, hear me out. Precision is a great gym for those tired of dealing with the usual commercial gym issues. At this gym, you won't have pop music playing or hoards of teens taking over the gym. However, there are times when the gym gets crowded, and due to its limited amount of equipment, it can be hard to get a good workout. A good idea would be to try out the gym for yourself and check if the time you usually workout is a time when gym traffic isn't high.

Fantastic experience: Precision Fitness is North Dallas best gym. Outstanding gym culture a mixture of fitness goers and bodybuilders alike, the equipment is in great condition and wide variety of machines to use. The STAFF is by far the friendliest and most helpful when it comes to member assistance and helpfulness regarding any issue. It’s a hands on approach from the Owner to Staff Members, super efficient, and professional, flat out a top tier gym.

Negative experience: I called Jake the owner to address my concerns about the lack of air in the gym he spent more time trying to push his weight than address the issue. Unbeknownst to him I record all calls and conversations so granted he chooses to say what “didn’t happen” well…. Ive also recorded where the guy at the front desk said the air has been broken for quite some time and they have to get it fixed which was the same thing we were told back in May. Jake wouldn’t even allow me to finish my concern before he cut me off to tell me he hasn’t gotten any complaints and that the temperature is on 74 and it’s not going to change. I pay 65 dollars a month for what they consider to be an elite gym with dirty bathrooms and no air. I made it 10 mins into my training session before feeling like I had to pass out because of the lack of air. Same thing happened last month which is partially why I have hesitated with returning. The front desk guy took me to the thermostat and confirmed the air is on 74 degrees. 74 degrees in 110 weather outside while trying to work out! I had red flags day one but proceeded to sign up because of my trainer at the time. Btw Merys is amazing but this gym is a joke. Planet fitness was much better and cheaper. LA fitness is also great with more equipment and of course AIR. But no worries, I have enough recordings to at this point. Ill be in touch.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Precision In September of 2021. The gym is not only clean, but they adhere to current COVID policies. This gym has air purifiers and the Coaches Lee and John always take the time to help me whenever I'm needing help with the machines. Many of the members are friendly and polite. Plenty of parking space as well.

Fantastic experience: One of the best to do it in the industry. I have been coming to AD precision health for the last 2 years to get my bloodwork and TRT done and my quality of life has skyrocketed since starting. I've been coming to Precision Fitness since it opened and have had nothing but top tier experiences. The facility stays sharp, staff is personable, and they are experts in their fields no doubt. I drive an hour 1 way to this facility and team if that says anything. Love the energy here!

Lauren, who I spoke with over the phone several times, was very professional and extremely helpful during a stressful time for me and my family.
