Fantastic experience: I miss being in an open workout environment, however, the infrared heat sauna is oddly addictive and I LOVE having 24/7 access!!! The virtual instructors are great at being motivational, you just have to listen. It is not easy!!! Nothing easy is worth having! I always feel better when I am done

Positive experience: I was super excited to get back to hotworx. I was even more excited when it was effortless to rejoin over the phone, as I am a catastrophe adjuster and my hours are ever changing. I am noticing the areas appear to never be cleaned. I am not a germ freak, however wiping down areas seem to be natural process for even a natural health club. Thieves does wonders. I only wish the best success for hotworx and those who are avid health seekers

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience with Hotworx. I have been trying to cancel my services for months, but they continued to charge my card despite my repeated attempts. The General Manager, Sara, lied about issuing a refund and claimed she couldn't process it because I had disputed the charge through my bank. This is completely false as I never disputed the charge; I simply wanted the business to issue the refund they promised. I finally spoke with Sara on the phone today, and she assured me the refund had been issued for the previous months, but I never received it. This level of dishonesty and poor customer service is unacceptable. I have messages for proof! Avoid this place at all costs!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for around two months and I am OBSESSED! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly, and they always make sure to keep the studio as clean as possible. A few of the saunas had some issues, but the studio owner fixed them SO quickly and efficiently. The workouts are semi-private so occasionally you’ll have to workout with another person, but it truly does not happen that often. Not to mention I’ve seen some really great results since starting!! I highly recommend checking it out.

Positive experience: It seems great so far but the Fx zone with the strength training area the tv doesnt work. It is suppose to display routines to follow while you are working on strength training.

Negative experience: I just signed up for sweat everywhere, just because I work at Plano and was planning to come to this hotworx, but weekends I can go to Midlothian. So, when I came to this hotworx in Addison, omg so dirty, feels like homeless people live there. Stinks like bad feet in every cardio, work out room, the gym area all the tools are sticky and greasy, restroom, bathroo.. i guess stuff doesn'tcare about sanitizing and cleaning. Disgusting place, now I need to cancel my membership for sweat everywhere. I'm just going to Midlothian where spotless clean and pleasant.

Negative experience: I'm so sorry to the nice people here to change to one star but hotworx was the worst gym experience I've EVER had. I'm so happy I canceled. The price is not worth it and it's a MANDATORY 5 MONTH CONTRACT. Plus infrared is bad! Regular coal sauna is much healthier. Sorry guys. The people at this specific location are good people though.

Fantastic experience: I went for my free workout the other night and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is great! The workout options are amazing! And the employees are all so friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the time Iris took to inform me about all my options. She was very knowledgeable, and very personable! I am joining and I highly recommend this place!!!

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant to post a review as I don’t usually do but because of the service I received I definitely wanted to share my experience with others. Firstly, the staff are EXTREMELY helpful and pleasant, always willing to assist and answer any questions I have especially the guy with the curly hair. He always have a smile positive attitude when I see him. The equipments are all amazing and very clean studio.

Fantastic experience: OMG!!! Where do I even begin to talk about this amazing place. I love saunas and I love working out so the fact that you can kill 2 birds with one stone is GENIUS. You feel so relaxed afterwards. Okay now let’s get into the staff, Neil is so amazing he goes above and beyond for his customers I got a new debit card and text him like at 10pm and I figured he’d respond the next day and nope to my surprise he texted me right away and got my new card information. Stephanie is amazing, so down to earth, sweet and also goes about and beyond for us! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOTWORX

Positive experience: Great staff but so much of the equipment is broken. All the rowers are broken and a lot of the equipment on the fx zone were as well. Only giving it 3 stars because of the amazing staff. Edit: I’m not a member at this particular studio but I do have the membership to where I can go to any location. I moved to this area recently And will not be removing this review because I visit this location because it’s closest to my apartment. This review was meant for this studio.

You can go hard in their saunas or you can straight veg-out on the mat, and there's no judgement. I love the environment here. Secondly, I have a "Sweat Everywhere" membership but this location is my favorite by far. They really go all out with their amenities (provide towels for the shower, body wash, etc), and the whole facility is very clean. The staff (Tovia, Lauren, Stephanie) is friendly, and sparks up great conversation. You really feel like part of a community here, but it also doesn't feel super bougie like other fitness boutique places. Definitely check this place out! :3

Fantastic experience: I just started my membership at HOTWORX Addison and I 10/10 would recommend. I’m new to Dallas and used to do similar classes with an in person instructor and full class. Being alone is very different but I love it; it tests your agility, physical and mental capacity, the virtual instructors push you to keep going and it overall is a very personal experience. The most amazing thing is the results you can get by cross training and utilizing all the classes they offer. Membership is inexpensive and I love it here thus far!

Fantastic experience: This place is excellent for those with non-traditional work hours and need a place to get a great 45min workout. Instruction via video in a private hot sauna space. Make a reservation and bam! Done! Monthly fee is very reasonable. Fantastic choice for those who are staying safe and isolating because of COVID. Clean and sanitary building, restroom, and workout rooms.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Hotworx with a friend every so often and one day I decided to join. The staff is amazing and so helpful and motivating. My health has gotten so much better since I have been going faithfully. I was a type 2 diabetic a month ago and because of Hotworx and my regimen I am no longer a type 2 diabetic. My blood pressure is amazing and I feel better. The benefits far outweigh the cons. I hear a lot of people say they can’t take the heat but the heat is literally healing the body. I will be a member for life!

Negative experience: Wow! Went in for a tour today. Front desk girl was very nice and friendly. Decided I was going to try the rowing class. Both rowers had broken foot straps. I was told one of them had been broken since August!Overall cleanish and nice staff. But cheap equipment. Nobody to repair these items. I can’t believe someone would pay money to work out there. That is just crazy. Stay away. Try OTF or yoga/Pilates gym. This place is a dump.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Store Manager called and expressed her apologies for the situation and issued a refund immediately and assure me it will remain resolved as of today forward. She was prompt and pleasant in her actions.** Company continues to charge after cancelation of membership. Only company I have dealt with during Covid-19 crisis to continue to do so even after explaining my inability to afford the gym any longer.

Fantastic experience: Staff are awesome and super friendly/ knowledgeable! I really enjoyed all the different options and how I felt after the workout! I especially loved how you can easily fit this in during a lunch break. 15-30 mins and you’re done for the day and you still burned 500 calories plus. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: This studio makes it impossible to cancel your membership. I canceled about 9 months ago because I moved and I am still receiving random charges to my credit card. I’ve been told I’ll stop receiving the charges, but I still keep getting them. Although the staff is friendly, this place is a money trap. Beware of signing up here. Edit: My money has now been refunded and the manager was very friendly. There was a management turnover in the time of my cancelation.

Fantastic experience: You will definitely get a great sweat going with these workouts. It's a great concept where you are in a infrared sauna while doing several different workouts you follow on video. So far I've tried the row machine and bike workouts and those were great. They have several other options to choose from like yoga, pilates, iso, and few others. The facilities were clean and nice and the staff was very helpful. Would def recommend.

Fantastic experience: After being in the health and fitness industry for years, I was looking for a new workout to incorporate into my routine. Once I checked out the Addison location I knew it would be the perfect fit! The staff does an awesome job at knowing their stuff, keeping the facilities in great condition, and encouraging & getting to know us clients. I love that when I come in, I’m greeted with enthusiasm and also talked to about my life. I love love love Hot Worx and am so happy I made the choice to try it out. I’m a huge fan!

The cardio sessions are short, but challenging, the longer sessions are enjoyable and fun. You can always go at your own pace and the virtual instructors give you modifications if you need them. My flexibility has drastically increased since starting my membership. The staff- I absolutely LOVE the staff at this location. The women all know me by name and welcome me when I come in. They are all knowledgeable about the workouts and really seem to love what they are doing. I took three weeks off from working out because of my wedding then honeymoon and they were all happy to see me return! I even forgot my towel and mat on my first day back and they let me use one of the rentable ones for free! That is customer service!

Fantastic experience: Finding Hotworx has been a game changer. The rooms hold three people and since I'm such a believer in this studio I've had two friends join and we have an intense fun workout. The studio is spotless, the staff is awesome! If you want to work out at a different time each day, there is almost always a room that you can book within 15 minutes of your time slot. After my workout I feel amazing and accomplished. The next day I feel the burn that lets me know I've worked the muscles that were targeted in the workout. Would recommend (and have) to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: Very nice, clean place. Love the 125° infrared sauna like rooms, no more than 3 to a room and lots of options yoga, pilates, bicycling, leg press, weights. 24hrs/7dys a week each room with virtual instructors. Shower with toiletries and towels available. If 125° is too hot you control the temp inside the room. I like the suggested 123-125° because that's a great sweat!

Fantastic experience: Man o man, for a small gym, this place really packs a punch! The hot sauna workout experience is certainly not for the faint of heart, and not for those who dislike confined spaces. But for the rest of you who enjoy a good challenge and love working out with a friend...this is your haven! We are used to a traditional big gym environment with hundreds of machines, rows of free weights, and an array of special equipment. HotWorx is a completely different world. They pare down the gym experience into a series of compact cubicles equipped with a sauna to provide you with an all around beneficial exercise session. The staff is well educated and helpful, and do not try to ram membership packages down your throat like the other guys. We tried both the rowing class, and the full Isometric class. These are timed classes guided by a virtual instructor, and they sure do put you through the paces! We were drenched in sweat and frankly, I found it challenging to keep up with some of the poses (wall squats for five minutes anyone?). For those of you who are used to the Pelotón experience you will feel right at home. For those of you who can't live without the sound of the cast iron free weights clanging together...well, you should at least stop in, take a class or two, so you can say you did it! #LiveRemarkably #HotWorx #Dallas

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible workout! I underestimated the quality of workout it would be, but the infrared heat definitely takes it up a notch. Plenty of options for your actual workout so it's not the same thing every time. The facility is super clean and the staff is always so helpful. Definitely worth it!

Negative experience: HotWorx as a concept is great, however the manager has no idea what she is doing and gets flustered and overwhelmed very easily, even on simple tours, she gets confused easily, and cannot answer many fitness questions. She will lie to sell memberships and say that you do not need the 100$ mat and towel even though there are only 2 classes you can do without it, but does not say anything about it when selling memberships. There are a lot of issues with this studio, as well, construction wise. Not to mention the ridiculous up charges on bands just to do one class you can spend an additional 25-50$ on equipment and that is excluding membership, mat and towel, but you wont find that out until much later. If you do not want to purchase the hotworx bands and equipment it is 5$ every visit. Very low customer loyalty, not a lot of honesty. The monthly prices seem great until you encounter all the other gimmicks and bad management. It has potential, though.
