Experiencia fantástica: Let's talk about our CrossFit gym in Fort Walton Beach. First things first: The gym is so awesome that it needed 2 names.."Fitness Heroics" and "CrossFit Epically Awesome". 'Nuff said. Aside from getting gainz ( <-- that's spelled correctly), you'll also get a gym and Coach who shares an appreciation for Memes, Animated Gifs, YouTube Vids, Video Games, Katy Perry (some request TayTay), Movie Quotes and Gainz ( <-- there it is again). All seriousness aside...because there aren't any jokes going on here...Grant is awesome and wants nothing but the best for everyone at the gym. It's why he always texts back, reserves a spot in Wodify for the lazy (me), and sleeps like a baby after NO REPPING anyone who does not have proper form or does not break 90 on a squat. I didn't lift or take working out serious until I started CrossFit. I'm not "further along" than anyone. And that's ok with Grant. I believe he actually prefers that because you've probably been doing in wrong!...Don't hate me, hate the game!!! You get a free week...come workout where the nerds hang!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I have had at Fitness Heroics. Grant is a superior coach and concentrates on proper technique and injury avoidance. He is extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to help out all of his members. Experiencia fantástica: I stopped in on a TDY after a year out of the weight room due to a running injury. Kiera, Sarah, Janet and Jonathan were helpful, encouraging and more welcoming than I could have hoped! This is is one of the best boxes I've ever been to--the coaching was outstanding, and the positive attitude was absolutely contagious! Thank you for the warm welcome and amazing workouts! I'm sad to leave, but you'll be sure to have my recommendation for any of my Air Force family headed that way !!

Experiencia fantástica: The community at Fitness Heroics is second to none! Everyone is genuinely happy to see each other progress and succeed. Even if the workout is a challenge, I know I'm going to be supported by the coaches and members. Grant, the owner/coach, goes out of his way to make sure everyone from every fitness level can participate in the workouts and makes sure you're being pushed so you can reach your goals!!

Experiencia fantástica: This gym was my husband's and my home for the four weeks we were in FL, and we hated to leave it when it was time to go home. Grant (owner/instructor) and Sara (instructor) were so extremely welcoming from day one, as was every athlete we had a chance to meet. We tried out a few other gyms in the area before coming to Fitness Heroics, but the others didn't offer the hospitable and fun atmosphere that we found at FH. Regardless of your CrossFit skill level, Grant and Sara will push you to improve your technique, challenge yourself through the programming, and help you become a more balanced Crossfitter all around. Whenever my husband and I are back in the area, we will be stopping in for a work out and to see all the wonderful people we met!

Experiencia fantástica: Moved to California about 3 months ago where it apparently is "crossfit heaven". However, this gym has been the best one I've ever been to! It's a bit small but that only means you get to know everyone a little bit better (but they're expanding soon!). Grant is a really good coach because he knows what he is doing and he gives everyone individual attention (yes, he will call you out on form, no reps!, and gives pointera). I still have him sending me workouts out here because I feel like his routine works. By far the best gym out there!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been doing CrossFit for almost 2 years, but wasn't making much progress until I started working with Grant. He's patient when he needs to be, but will definitely push you out of your comfort zone when he knows you can do better. Working out should be hard, but also fun, and that is definitely the case at Fitness Heroics. Everyone is so supportive and doesn't judge you if there is a particular skill that you're struggling with. We all help each other. I look forward to coming to my "happy place" everyday and, no matter how hard the workout is, always leave feeling better and smiling.

Experiencia fantástica: The place was fantastic! Very welcoming to drop-ins from out of town and they follow Ben Bergeron's Comp-Train, which are always good workouts. Will come back next time I'm in town for vacation!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming for the better part of a year, and have found this gym to be a great place. The coaches are extremely encouraging (no matter what level you're at), and the community is close. They have fun events, and seem like they can cater to those just trying to get back in shape as well as they can for elite athletes. If you're looking for a great CF gym in FWB, I hope you'll give them a try.

Easy to get to, fantastic coaches and welcoming members, and great class schedule to accommodate for any work schedule. I was always intimidated about doing CrossFit because it has always has had a bad reputation for causing injuries. I decided to give it a shot and man I’m loving it now. If you don’t know anything about CrossFit this place will show you how to properly do CrossFit before they implement you into the daily workout routines. I have learned so much and I have gained so much strength. The coaches emphasize the importance of safely when conducting the workouts at your fitness level. The people that also work out here are amazing very supportive and offer motivation during the workouts there are all ages and people that are at different fitness levels. When I first walked in the gym I felt welcomed I recommend this place to anyone especially if you want to be part of a team and get in shape.

Also the people who workout there are pretty cool as well. I spent 4 weeks training there and improved everyday. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the free week. Thank you fitness heroics.

At first they were super nice but right after i paid my monthly membership they became extremly rude. Now I've read some of the reviews here and as I could see to every negative review they say that it is a scam which I found even more awful because instead of improving themselves they refuse to face the reality. Anyway, it is what it is. Hopefully, they will work on their issues because that's the purpose of this review, not to bug them or insult them, but to motivate them to work on their service. Cheers

Experiencia fantástica: I never thought I'd get into Crossfit until I checked out this gym. From the first class I was hooked. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. They really take the time to focus on each individual and ensure you have proper form and technique. It is clear that Grant and his team really care about the people here. Everyone at this gym is very encouraging and made me feel welcome right away. The WODs are tough and I always feel so accomplished after. Everything about this gym is epically awesome!

The owner/head coach, Grant, is always warm and welcoming, bringing in a wide range of individuals with different backgrounds and skill levels. Speaking of skill levels, the workouts are challenging for everyone, but still achievable and very rewarding. I thought I was pretty fit until I started coming here - truly a humbling experience. With the smaller classes, each coach takes the time to improve and perfect each individual's technique. It seems like everyone tries to encourage each other. You definitely get your money's worth and more. Without a doubt, Fitness Heroics is my favorite place to end (and even begin) my day. No other gym that I've been to beats the positive atmosphere and friendly people here!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was tired of my old crossfit gym and was told to check out fitness heroics out by one of the members. I Immediately fell in love with the environment and the people there. The truth is every class here will find a way to challenge someone no matter the skill level you may be at and to me that is what really sold me. It also beats every gym in the area due to the fact that there are actual open gym hours and a separate annex where you can pretty much come in and do your own thing which is rare to find in this area. The owner sets himself apart by getting involved not just with his community but with his members who are really more than that, his friends. Bottomline is if you want a challenge and still have fun while doing so, this is the place to be!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful gym with knowledgeable and helpful coaches who push you to be your best. I have no previous weightlifting or Crossfit experience and the coaches help me feel completely comfortable with the fundamentals of the lifts/workouts. I absolutely love this gym and my time spent there! I would recommend it to anyone interested in working hard while having fun!!
