Flashback Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense Appleton

Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was joining Flashback for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! I have been going for a little over a year and am learning a ton and lost 20lbs in the process. Jesse Rueger, owner and gym black belt also is a great coach. He has an incredible lineage, earning his black belt from Radrigo Vaghi, the highest ranked Rickson Gracie promoted black belt in America!

Not only is the knowledge and embodiment of the art and sport present here, but also the quality of people committed to serving people! If your living in the area or living 500 miles away, this is definitely a place to check out. For those living in the area and considering beginning their Martial arts journey, you do not want to miss the opportunity to train here!

Fantastic experience: Flashback is a great place filled with great people. Jesse and Jina are the coaches and have done an excellent job cultivating a culture that welcomes everyone from beginners to experts. They are passionate about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the people they work with and helping people grow. I personally got into it just to check it out and try something new… I’ve been hooked ever since! There are so many benefits physically, mentally/emotionally and socially. I have seen personal growth in all these areas inside the gym and out. This is all thanks to the coaches and students that make this place great. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner! Overall: great place, great people, great coaches/coaching, and a great sport.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE training here. Everyone is very friendly. Very family friendly environment. Great place to make new friends. Coach Jesse explains different techniques in a way that is easy to understand. If I have questions or need help Jesse and the other coaches are always willing to help me. Very diverse team with different backgrounds and experience. Everyone is willing to help eachother and learn from eachother. I've recommended this place to my family and friends. I can't say enough positive things about this place.
