Fantastic experience: I’ve always been a pretty active person, but had a hard time when it came to building muscle and maintaining a gym routine. I’d get memberships at gyms intuitively knowing it wouldn’t work out long term. Then I found Dane’s Body Shop and learned consistency is about community in one way or another. The people that work at Dane’s are knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, funny. They set a great tone, making it easy to make casual gym friends while getting in good workouts. Every hour-long class is divided into 3-4 parts, which is then divided into 2-5 exercises, so you’re constantly moving, constantly working on something different. I think I read somewhere that they change up the workouts every other day, but I’ve yet to see the same workout twice. This place is not only a fantastic gym, but just an awesome institution in its own right. Definitely one of the best communities I’ve had the privilege to be a part of :)

Fantastic experience: I love the shop. I’ve learned so much about lifting and the coaches take the time to explain the movements to avoid injuries. On top of that, everyone is friendly and kind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great workout and people.

Fantastic experience: Best gym. Fantastic owner, great coaches, programming is top notch, facilities are excellent! On top of that, all of the members are fun too. I still try to swing by when I make it back to Austin.
