Fremont Community Recreation Complex

Positive experience: Clean grounds, clean pool, clean bathrooms. Great facility. I love how well kept it is. Parking lot is huge. We were there for a swimming competition. We had to wait over an hour for microwaved chicken fingers, that we couldn't eat because they were raw in the middle, I informed the kids behind the counter that the chicken was coming out raw they were not know how to respond. One way or the other they didn't check with management on what to do in that situation. No critical thinking skills whatsoever. Needs to be someone in charge behind the counter otherwise it was a great experience.

Positive experience: Fun, clean, very well monitored

Fantastic experience: Pool has slides, diving board and splash/slide area for younger children. Great place for the whole family to enjoy.

Positive experience: Not much social distancing noted. Doors say checking temps, but they are not. Staff cleaning machines not happening either. Not sure why the red/green placks still on the cardio machines as I have not witnessed cleaning in the last few weeks. Members good about wiping down equipment with cleaner provided.

Positive experience: I use the rec as a gym so ill review that. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It can be a little crowded at times. Since COVID the crowding hasn't been an issue. The current setup is pretty sweet but i imagine it won't stay that way. All the equipment is in good working order and there are a lot of machines and dumbbells.There are a lot of cardio machines and a modest amount of weight machines.The plates are a little limited but not enough people use them to be an issue. My biggest complaint is the lack of some of the basic leg machines; there isn't a leg press machine or a seated calf raise. Other than that it's a decent gym.
