April Sound Country Club

Positive experience: Stayed 3 nights 4 days for our anniversary at the Sweetwater. Condo very very dated. Not what you would expect. No ceiling fans in bedrooms. They keep old square fans in closet. Bedding was horrible and cheap and had a smell to it. Never again!

Positive experience: Over priced food, drinks by double. Close early, open late, very poor practice areas, range is closed or out of balls 50 to 75% of daylight hours through out the year and they treat members like they are lucky to be there and give them their money. Aka, terrible customer service. Golf course has been getting better every year but time and maintenence is only put into the putting surfaces. Everything else is the equivalent of a do it yourself job by your average Joe that doesn't know what he is doing. They rise prices and nickel and dime anything and everything any chance they get. Beautiful spot, scene and patio.

Fantastic experience: The April Sound Championship Course is a hidden gem. I have played at over 15 private country clubs in the Houston area this year and April Sound is second to none. The course superintendent should be congratulated for the excellent course conditions and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
