Blaisdell YMCA: Opinions
Positive experience: Overall this is an excellent place to workout. It's usually not overcrowded, and they have enough squat racks that I never have to wait to use the barbell for squats or bench presses. There are a few staff members that are very friendly and welcoming. My only real critique is that they don't do a good job of keeping kids from playing around in the weightlifting area. On one occasion two kids (they looked to be around 10-12 years old) were pulling on the cable machiene then lauching themselves into the air. One of the managers of the Y was there giving a tour to someone, and he didn't say anything. Eventually someone who was working out came over and told the kids to stop.
