Genesis Health Clubs - Midtown Tulsa

Positive experience: I just moved to Tulsa last month and I’ve been going to this Genesis location. I like it a lot! The staff has always been very nice and friendly to me when I check in and out, which I really appreciate! My *only* complaint is that the main part of the facility is soooo uncomfortably hot, to the point where I’ve felt like I might pass out on the cardio deck a few times. It’s also been so hot outside recently so being in a hot gym with no air flow doesn’t help, as there aren’t any fans except for in the studio rooms.

Fantastic experience: This place has been a lifesaver for me, I came here because they have childcare and great hours for it 7 days a week. I am back to working out very regularly again and my mental health has improved a lot because I have that stress release. Facility is nice, staff is friendly, and there are a lot of really in shape people here lol highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Front desk worker named Emily is always extremely friendly and helpful! She makes the overall energy in the gym better and knows the majority of the members names. Will definitely be staying at Genesis!

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews for places, but Genesis has exceeded my expectations! Upon joining, I met with Madison to hear about membership costs. Not only was it a great experience speaking with her, but she walked me through every step of the process quickly and easily. She answered my questions and was understanding of my hesitations. I've since had both my husband and my brother join. Todd helped my brother and had a similar easy experience getting signed up - he was attentive, respectful, and got it done quickly with no hassle! As for the gym itself, it is always clean, the staff is so friendly, and there is ample equipment for even the busiest of hours. My brother and I lift together and always find another machine to meet our needs if the initial one we wanted is being used. The other members are also kind and respectful of your personal space and letting you know if they're almost done with a set. There is a cafe downstairs that makes AWESOME protein shakes if you're running late or you forgot your own shaker and need to get back to work. You can buy shakers, supplements, a snack, or just hangout and chat with the employee behind the counter there as well :) If you're looking for a chill place to lift without feeling like you're on top of someone else working out, this is a great choice!
