Techny Prairie Activity Center

The Techny Prairie Activity Center, a part of the Northbrook Park District, is a brand new, cutting-edge facility situated in the stunning Techny Prairie Park and Fields. With breathtaking views of the prairie and Anetsberger Golf Course, you will feel like you are in the middle of nature and open space while enjoying the energy-efficient and sustainable Net-Zero Energy facility. This center has everything you need for fitness and recreation in one of the most picturesque areas in Northbrook.

The Northbrook Park District has opened a brand-new, cutting-edge facility at Techny Prairie Park and Fields called the Techny Prairie Activity Center.

You will be surrounded by the stunning prairie and Anetsberger Golf Course when you visit the Techny Prairie Activity Center in Northbrook. This future-oriented, sustainable, and energy-efficient building offers a range of fitness and recreation activities in a unique and natural setting.

This is an atypical walking club. During the Active Aging WalkFit session, you will engage in balance and agility exercises, as well as do some light strength training, all while burning calories and staying in shape. This group fitness class is open to anyone over the age of 55 and takes place on Mondays from 11am-12pm at Techny Prairie Park and Fields.
