Southwestern Assemblies of God University offers a variety of online Christian degrees, including Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), and Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL), in fields such as business, counseling, psychology, teaching, elementary education, secondary education, criminal justice, bible, theology, ministry, history, social studies, mathematics, english, missions, intercultural studies, sports management, media, theatre, human services and social work.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is dedicated to providing Christian education, and is renowned for being one of the top Bible colleges in the country. Half of the students enrolled are studying in a field related to the Bible or Church Ministries. Additionally, SAGU is an important source of education for Assemblies of God pastors and missionaries, offering both on-campus and online master's and doctoral degrees.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University provides accredited educational programs in Texas and through Distance Education. Students have access to instructors with advanced qualifications in their respective disciplines and can also gain up to 30 credit hours towards their online degrees through Credit for Life Experience.

SAGU is situated in Waxahachie, Texas, which is to the south of Dallas and Fort Worth. This Assemblies of God College has been providing Christian college education for 86 years.
