Fantastic experience: Nice staff and facilities. They only have three lap lanes but that keeps the high school swim teams from taking over the pool.

Fantastic experience: My nephews have had a swim instructor who is amazing, her name is Lili.Lili is an outstanding swim instructor who has a passion for teaching people of all races and cultures how to swim. Her communication skills are excellent, and she always ensures that my nephews understand the instructions she gives them. Lili has a warm and friendly personality, which puts me and my nephews at ease and makes them feel comfortable in the water. Lili has a strong knowledge of swimming techniques and is able to tailor her lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. She is patient and supportive, and will encourage you to keep trying even when things are challenging. In addition to her technical expertise, Lili also has a great sense of humor and makes her lessons fun and enjoyable. She is always positive and enthusiastic, which helps to motivate her students to keep practicing and improving. Overall, I would highly recommend Lili as a swim instructor. She is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and fun, and she genuinely cares about her students' progress and success in the water. If you are looking for a top-notch swim instructor, Lili is definitely the one to choose!

Fantastic experience: This location is newer and just so nice! The staff is so friendly and the facility has everything you want. The pool is great for the kids and for lap swimming and the indoor track is so convenient. There is a room for nursing moms which is so thoughtful and appreciated. I really can't say enough good things about this location. the kids club is fantastic, I definitely like coming here for every reason

Fantastic experience: There is a wide variety of cardio and strength training machines and apparatus. Their childcare options are robust and very helpful to overall family wellness. I also appreciate that the staff is always friendly.

Fantastic experience: For a YMCA this place has a great combination of machine and free weights. It can get a bit crowded during peek hours, but I've never had an issue getting the piece of equipment I need for a good workout.

Fantastic experience: I live 5 minutes from another Y, but I go out of my way to come to this one. It's super clean, the workout floor is open and large (I never see anyone fighting over equipment), they have lots of fun classes, and the childcare is amazing. My kids love coming to the Y. This location also has an indoor walking track which is amazing since I prefer that to the treadmill. I really can't say enough good things about this Y. Worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Love the generous-sized pool. Justine is the best swimming instructor (we took private lessons!); she communicates well with children and is thoughtful, made sure we knew there was no pressure to perform to a standard, and now my child is a confident swimmer, moved up steadily to a green necklace!

Fantastic experience: The various fitness classes offered. There is such a wide variety, I can always find a class to progress me towards my fitness goals - whether it be muscle building (muscle definition class), cardio (CardioFit), or spin.

Fantastic experience: The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we love that we feel so welcomed when we come there!My kids love the Kids Club and they ask to come to the Y even when I'm not working out just because of that!The swim program was excellent for my twin girls and it taught them a great lifelong skill.

Fantastic experience: First time back at the gym since covid came to town. A little different, I'm glad the YMCA is open. Swimming in the lake has been fun buy Brrrrr its cold outside.

Fantastic experience: The Y is the best deal in town if you have kids, and this one is the best. The nursery staff here is lovely (patient and kind) and the play facilities for the kids are wonderful. One of my children was initially very anxious about being separated from me and now he runs right in. The workout area is always clean and bright and they have a great pool area with lessons for your kids. They have a nursing room for moms that's cheerful and comfortable. You all are the best.

Fantastic experience: Covid-19 has obviously drastically changed the way this organization is working their open gym. Temperature checks when you walk in, individual sanitizer and Equipment cleaning for each guest as they walk in to carry around with him and clean equipment as they go. Spacing between all of the equipment, and where that's not possible they just blocked some of it off so it cannot be used unfortunately. The equipment they do have opened is new clean and they still have more or less any type of equipment you can want.

Fantastic experience: The YMCA Summer Camp keeps the kids engaged with activities, learning and field trips. The planning and coordination that goes into each week is awesome and much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: We love our Y! The friendly staff is warm and welcoming, and our swim teachers are THE BEST. They are kind and do a great job acclimating children to the water gently but firmly, encouraging them to try a little harder/farther/longer each time. This is a great place to learn how to swim!

Fantastic experience: I am "now " bias in regards to the Y at Norton Commons. I work there and truly enjoy the people, especially the little kids I have met in Kids' Club. I have also enjoyed watching the progress of my 6 year old with swim lessons . The equipment is great to use when my stubborn mind gives in and says "Just Do It"! The weekly health tips are more helpful than reading a health magazine or online fit tips.

Fantastic experience: Awesome facility with good equipment, great staff, especially kids club, lifeguards, and group fitness instructors. Variety of fun classes, especially those taught by Jill M and Tammy K, and plenty of space and equipment around the track and in the wellness center to do my own workout on the days when that’s what I need. My children are adopted from a tough beginning and sometimes have some challenging behaviors, but the kids club staff handles them with love and grace and always allows me to get my workout done, then return to them refreshed and ready to give them my best as a mom. I’m forever grateful for this blessing.

Fantastic experience: Extremely awesome staff. Mike at the front desk was so accommodating. I was visiting from out of town and I didn’t have a towel, and he and another staff member let me borrow a clean towel! These guys were great! Pool was cool but felt good. Sauna was good too!

Fantastic experience: The Norton Commons and the Northeast YMCA offer a wide selection of different exercise programs for adults and children to choose from. The staff is very friendly, attentive and always welcome guests and members inside. The YMCA branches are also very clean as well.

Fantastic experience: We have had a family membership for five years. We love It . Very clean and nice environment. The staff is excellent. I recommend this place to everyone . There is something for people of all ages to do.

Fantastic experience: The aquatics staff is fantastic! I was recently cleared to return to swimming after hip replacement surgery. I trust this pool to be clean, the deck clutter-free, and the guards are well-trained and attentive. When I exited the pool, one of the guards made sure that as I passed the sauna, noone could exit and knock me over. Brian and his staff are excellent. The pool is always the right temperature for lap swimming (cool), the water clarity excellent. I LOVE Norton Commons YMCA.

Fantastic experience: Great workout facilities, as well as a large basketball court split up into two sections so that young children can play as well as older teens and adults. There’s two swimming pools, one for recreation and one for practice, and there’s a couple places for kids to have fun while their parents work out.
