Bay Club Courtside

Fantastic experience: As part of our new membership, we got one free session with a trainer of our choice. I love the fact that they post the bios and background, focus of all their very experienced and professional trainers. Of course, as in all gyms, you pay extra for a personal trainer. I was soooo impressed with the woman I chose, Iris, for my freebie, I signed up for five sessions with her. She is extremely conscientious. Our first meeting included a full interview about my health, ailments, injuries and goals. She knows me very well and works with me to help me achieve my goals. I've continued to work with Iris over a period of six months. I space out my sessions with her. After each session, I do the workout on my own for 4 to 6 weeks to master the exercises. Then the next session we step it up to a higher level. I've continued the same format, getting stronger and fitter as we go.

Has it all (except golf): tennis, pickleball, swimming, spa, jacuzzi, hot sauna, wet sauna, cafe, gift shop, pro shop, indoor basketball, etc. plus HQ membership mostly in tech. Decent amount of mixers now and then… group exercise classes are decent too. Bay club are everywhere now but this one is the best I’ve seen.

Fantastic experience: An amazing facility! Such nice friendly staff, with an abundance of things to do here. Has a Lululemon store and a cafe inside, just to name a few. If you haven't already, I highly recommend a visit here to check everything out!

Positive experience: We have been members at Courtside for the past twenty years. It is a great place to workout play tennis go for a swim. Do you have enjoyed the club and the members and think of it as more of a resort than a health club.

Fantastic experience: Such a great place!! I have been going to Courtside for years, but moved out of state a few years back. While I was back home visiting my mom, they went out of their way to let me enjoy the facility for a couple days during my stay. A special thank you to Daniel for being so accommodating. I hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic experience: Best Fitness and recreation Club in the Bay Area. Love going there to enjoy my daily fitness exercises before and after a full day working. A great place to go and unwind, relax and get fit, especially after being in a sedentary position in front of a computer and being on the cellphone or in person working with customers all day. There are club campuses all over Bay Area. Cafe and restaurant, business center suites inside most clubs. Day Spa and massage salon, indoor and outdoor sauna, swimming, tennis outdoor/indoor courts, basketball indoor court, many studios for pilates, yoga, dance, stretching and varoius machines and equipment for strength and weight lifting. They have Separate areas and programs for families with young children with swimming pools and tennis for private and group lessons. Due to covid19 restrictions, many of the club amenities are closed and not available or very limited to comply with isolation and social distance mandated by local and state government agencies. However, when the club is fully operating and not being restricted to fully function, it's the best place to go for recreation, fitness, socialize, and remote work for business or school in a separate business suite. It's a place for everyone of all ages and genders to enjoy, have fun, get fit to live healthy and happy.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely one of the best gyms in the Bay Area. The teachers there are the best, yoga, spinning, kickboxing, body combat and Zumba have amazing group classes. It is clean all the time and the staff are super friendly. Parking can be a problem but for only 5 minutes, be patient and you will find a spot. They have some office space, where you can do some work. Internet is fantastic and there are no bad spots. Swimming pool is warm and mostly empty. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined this Bay Club location after being a longtime member of Equinox. So glad I made the jump. The amenities are great and the newly renovated cafe comes in very handy after a hard gym sesh.

Fantastic experience: Bay Club Courtside is really a spectacular place. I'm giving it five stars for that reason. The sport resort has two pools, 15+ tennis courts, full fitness equipment, a great cafe, shop, spa, and childcare. The two pools are open and heated year-round. One pool is actually just for adults and has a hot tub attached. Over the summer, there are lifeguards along the family pool. Sometimes they even put this inflatable obstacle course in the pool. They also have a small splash area about a foot deep for the little ones. The tennis courts are in great shape and you can reserve courts days in advance. There is an extra fee for the indoor tennis courts though. The gym is great, but often very crowded. They just opened cafe vida here, which made the food both better and of course pricier. I gave it five stars because this place is great, but on the downside, it's extremely expensive and very crowded. Sometimes it's hard to find a bike or treadmill in the gym. Service in the club can also be lacking at times, as some new hires don't quite know everything yet. Overall, glad I'm a member!

Fantastic experience: Of all the area Bay Clubs, I love Curtsied the best. It is a sanctuary from all the bustle. The programs are great, I love the equipment, the spa, the shops and I like the warm pool and the cool pool so I can pick. I use the hot tub and pools year round and always feel comfortable.
