Fantastic experience: About five years ago I herniated my back due to the negligence of a CrossFit gym not watching me do a deadlift properly and not accommodating for my height, and this was just a 60lbs weight. I never thought I could lift heavy weights again due to that. I’ve tried Olympic lifting classes at another gym, unfortunately similar things happened where the coach did not have the right experience and did not watch as closely or make the right recommendation. When I came into Mile High Barbell , I was skeptical about the program, but I have been at it for a few months now and I’m yielding great results so far. Marguerite is a great coach and has the right experience to coach and motivate her students. She has extensive knowledge and accommodates the powerlifting moves based off how your body is made up and previous ailments. I’m getting much stronger and have had no issues with pain. This is a great program and I highly recommend it

Fantastic experience: Mile High Barbell has taken my olympic lifts from sloppy and uncoordinated, to crisp and clean. I've been an athlete in some capacity for most of my life and even among the best coaches I've ever had, Marguerite stands out. MHB shares a facility with ProjectMove which lets me work on my olympic lifting and then put that into practice with the daily WOD. You get two gyms in one. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't take advantage of this. I've seen everything from complete beginners making huge transformations to seasoned lifters somehow getting better and better through coach Marguerite's passion, knowledge, and attention to detail. Check your ego at the door and come have some fun! -Guy whose wife front squats the same weight as him =p.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mile High barbell!! I started off in the CrossFit world and my Olympic and powerlifting needed help. I have been doing barbell with Marguerite for about 6 months and keep setting new PR’s and with less injuries!! My CrossFit skill set has improved significantly and I am able to Rx every WOD. I can’t wait to see how I do in the open this year. She gives you one on one attention and has a great training program. The atmosphere is also very supportive and encouraging.

Fantastic experience: When I first walked into Mile High barbell I had never touched a barbell before, I was very nervous since I really had no experience at all, Marguerite made me feel very comfortable and she took her time with me to teach me the movements. With time I was able to go from the training bar to the 35 lb bar and then started to add weight to it. With Marguerites help I've been able to feel very comfortable under the bar and keep learning at every class. Marguerite is a wonderful coach with so much knowledge and patience, so if you are looking to either start or improve your barbell skills she is the one to go to!!

Fantastic experience: Superb coaching, Marguerite is adept at training athletes at all levels, from novice (like myself) to competitive.
