Fantastic experience: I usually go to another location but was in the neighborhood so I decided to check it out. Excellent gym, friendly front desk, and a nice atmosphere. They also have good music and amenities. I'm going back this week.

Fantastic experience: When I moved in to the neighborhood, I had intended on going to Planet Fitness, mainly because it was cheap. I'm glad I took a chance and toured/signed up at FFC. Sure, it was certainly more expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Yes, the layout of the facility can be viewed as odd - but the accessible club hours, pool, cleanliness of the workout areas and locker room, availability of equipment and (most importantly) the staff were all excellent. I am not a "gym-person" by any means, but they kept me motivated and I felt that they personally cared about my health. I highly recommend working with a trainer. It was an expense I would have never considered previously, but well worth it. (shout out to Louie!) Lastly- while I did unfortunately have to terminate my membership due to monetary concerns and a move out of the area (both as a result of the pandemic) - I'm happy to report that they were understanding and facilitated the cancellation with painless up-front communication. Club Management handled everything flawlessly, which is rare in my experience when trying to cancel a membership/service. Thank you, FFC East Lakeview for an overall positive experience.

Fantastic experience: This gym is ELITE! Super clean and lovely. The staff are all awesome and remember you by your first name. It might be 10 times more expensive than the planet fitness down the street but it’s literally 10 times better. I’m really happy with my decision to workout here.

Fantastic experience: After 3+ months of being forced to close due to the global pandemic, today was first day members were allowed to re-enter the club. Allow me to say thank you to the dedicated team both at the corporate and local level who have been in regular communication with members regarding the re-opening plan along with what changes may be present as we adjust to some of the new norms. Upon return, members were being warmly greeted and welcomed back by staff, presented with an opportunity to ask questions, and to also get a quick overview of some new rules. The club was immaculate, well-marked with signage, and clearly ready for business. During the temporary closure, I was provided with an array of online fitness options from the club (for free in most cases) to help maintain fitness. I continue to be impressed by FFC's commitment to their clients, and appreciate their hard work and dedication as they re-open.

Fantastic experience: I signed up at different location about 2 months ago I loved it! I came to this location just to check it out. The sales rep Alan gave me a tour. I loved the layout. Going to the gym in a pandemic can be very scary. The cleanliness was pretty impressive and I felt very safe. Definitely will start using this location more often. Thanks Alan!

Fantastic experience: Have been a member for 3 months and have been very impressed with both the facility and the gym's commitment to keeping things clean and socially distanced. Every member wears masks consistently and wipes down all equipment consistently Have also been working with Kyle as a personal trainer 2x per week - he's been phenomenal in both structuring / maintaining a program to meet my goals and coaching / motivating me through the routines. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite Gym for almost 1,5 year. Wide spectrum of sport equipment, 4 line pool, jacuzzi and steam sauna and much more.

Fantastic experience: I Love to Swim. & The FFC Lakeview location has a Great Swimming Pool & A Hot Tub Whirlpool right next to the Pool to relax in afterwards.

Fantastic experience: This has been my gym for 9 years now and it's great! They have good equipment, classes are included and the trainers/instructors are helpful. The facilities are nice, including pool, hot tub and steam room. It's particularly helpful to have access to the other FFC gyms around the city because I can bike downtown, workout and shower and attend client meetings.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. I moved to Chicago two years ago from the northern suburbs and was searching for a fitness club for months – one that didn’t smell like filthy carpet. Though I looked at higher price clubs, this club stood out among the rest as really clean and well-managed. There’s loads of work-out equipment, a nice pool, and an highly personable staff. I don’t know how it’s possible, but the staff consistently seems happy, which makes it enjoyable to go there, particularly at the end of a long workday. The locker room is clean, and the folded hand towels are a nice touch. I also like the music choice in the locker rooms, which seems to aternate between classical and jazz. It’s relaxing at the end of a workout and helps me wind down. If my husband and I ever decide to move, it would be hard to leave this club. Thankfully, they have other locations around the city, but I especially like this one.

Fantastic experience: A great 24hr gym. I really like doing my workout later at night when I mostly have the place to myself, but even at busy times there's rarely a waiting or crowding issue for such a popular gym.

Fantastic experience: Equipment is always cleaned and functioning correctly. Staff are helpful if you have any questions. Locker room spaces are well kept. Overall a great gym. Been coming here since 2012. Have left and tried other gyms multiple times and always found my way back.

Fantastic experience: Everything is clean, the staff is nice to talk to and work with. There is a ton of variety in classes to take, and fitness programs, like weight loss challenges that even the field by using heart rate monitors for points instead of lbs lost. You do have to pay extra for some of the programs, but they do help keep you motivated. The pool is generally set to a good temperature to lap swim. The updated locker rooms are great, and look really nice. The Pilate's instructor Justin is really great at working with you to meet you goals in Pilate's or personal training. It is a great gym to be apart of.

Fantastic experience: Nice staff, good hours, bit expensive but then again it definitely provides value for the $$. Much more than just a gym too, has a bunch of hidden amenities I didn't expect to find. Fave feature is the secondary gym on the 2nd floor which is more secluded and less popular, as opposed to the normal cardio room on the first floor, which is usually pretty populated.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very friendly. Gym is always impeccably clean. Love the classes most of all! Have never had a bad one. Great variety in classes and scheduling always works out so I can make it to my favorite ones. They do switch it up every few months too to offer new ones. Try Pound, Iron Ride, any of their yoga classes (all rival "fancy" boutique'tupe yoga studios), and any of the interval/station classes. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Staff has been great and the facilities offer as much as you can hope for. Plenty of classes if you're into that as well. Can't imagine asking more out of a gym than what you get here.
