Fantastic experience: This is not just my gym. It’s my home away from home. It’s my therapy. I’ve made friends, memories, and GAINZ in this building. Guys, I finally met lifelong fitness goals once I started coming here. You can do it too. Make it a routine. Make connections and develop your health support community here. There are good people and good resources. It’s clean and comfortable. When I went through a breakup, they let me cry in the corner. When I didn’t have running water, guess where I showered for 2 weeks? When it was 5 degrees at 6:30am and my car wouldn’t start, Preston jump started my battery. I belong here and You belong here.

Fantastic experience: This Genesis is the best gym in Lawrence. If you want to feel like you’re apart of a community and attend events that are actually fun this is the place to go. The operations manager, Moriah is so kind and willing to help with everything. I love the good energy and can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: This genesis has been amazing for the 8+ months I’ve been coming here. Machines are available, workout areas/locker rooms/cardio areas are always very clean, and staff is always so friendly! I live on the complete opposite side of town but have enjoyed this Genesis so much compared to other gyms in town that it’s always worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Genesis Health Clubs since 2011 & I worked in the daycare with my kids for 4 years. I absolutely love Genesis! The atmosphere is so nice & fun! The classes are awesome & the daycare rocks too! The sauna is nice during the winter & I can go to different Genesis gyms in the area as well. I love, love, love Genesis Health Clubs & it's my Happy place!

Fantastic experience: Our whole family loves the tennis program at Genesis South in Lawrence. The coaches are super qualified and make tennis fun through all of their creative drills and competitions. The kids have developed as players and have made many friends. My husband and I especially love the cardio triples (go Gallos!). It’s a great workout and SO much fun. Thanks, Genesis, for bringing tennis back into our lives!

Fantastic experience: My son took an advantage of their Free "Try" tennis class about 2 years ago. Since then, he discovered love of tennis. Coaches there are wonderful on and off the court. I appreciate Coaches Whitney and Victor responses to my last min requests via texts quickly. My husband also works out at the gym (both North and South locations) and staff are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this facility, in particular their indoor tennis program. With the weather getting colder, what better way to get some great exercise and meet new people? All levels are welcome. The instructors are fantastic and make learning fun.

Fantastic experience: The treadmills there are great it's such a nice clean facility I love looking over the highway and into the wetlands the birds coming to Clinton Lake fly right over the building early in the morning when I'm running it's just wonderful the people are very professional that work there and I enjoyed having conversations with them they're so patient and listened so well and I'm much healthier and very fit at 52 years old thank you Genesis I really appreciate it

Fantastic experience: Wow!!! What an incredible place to workout!! The amazing leadership (both Nick and Moriah) at this facility shows in the way ALL the staff treats the clientele, the culture of the environment, and the cleanliness and upkeep of the workout equipment and building as a whole!! We had the opportunity to receive some free personal training sessions as part of our membership and the trainer we worked with was very non judgmental, knowledgeable and encouraging!! If you’re looking for a place to work out I. Lawrence this is undeniably the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been at Genesis for about a year and I’ve had a great experience! The staff has been very helpful and friendly. There are plenty of options for weightlifting and cardio. I love the cycling class with Nina. She is an amazing instructor! My kids also enjoy going to kids club which has been a great perk!

Fantastic experience: I play tennis at Genesis South - Go SoLaw!! The tennis staff really cares about their tennis players young and old. They organize great drills and social events. If you're interested in private or semi private lessons they have a great staff of Tennis Pros! This is a great club for beginners and seasoned competitive players. They also have indoor and outdoor courts, so you can play year round.

Fantastic experience: This gym is now terrific! Nick the manager and his crew have done a 360 degree turn around since they have taken over. It is well organized, clean, friendly and a pleasure to come to. I have been a member for years and have for the first time taken up tennis thanks to Whitney and my son has had personal training from Weston. Great place to come!

Fantastic experience: Out of all gym, this has become my favorite. This gym is always clean and filled with friendly, welcoming staff including the manager Nick. It's nice that there are other locations since I'm not always in Lawrence to stop by for a workout. I do love the wide variety of classes that are offered. But there is one instructor that I will always drop in for classes whenever possible. Kamay is a wonderful core and boot camp instructor. She is fun, upbeat, pushes and motivates you to keep going. With boot camp Kamay provides instructions and modification on the exercises to accommodate for all levels. Somehow she makes the workouts go by faster than you think.

Fantastic experience: This Genesis health club (South Lawrence location) has been perfect for our needs. My wife and I come multiple times a week. Their kids club is a great space with trustworthy workers that we can leave our son in their care while we workout. The workers are very kind and attentive. The space is VERY CLEAN. The locker rooms are very nice, spacious and always well kept. Not super busy in the weights and cardio sections and the classes are a plus for my wife. We are huge fans of Genesis!

Fantastic experience: Genesis has been awesome to me. Their trainers are exceptional, Tayler Dietz is one of the best trainers I’ve ever had, overall vibe is great and I have had nothing but good experiences. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite gyms I've been to. Management is amazing and help whenever they can! Being new, you can feel nervous. Wondering if people are watching or judging because you're not sure what you're doing when you get there lol but not this gym. They treat you like a family here. Honestly, it's like going to a gym with your friends. All the more reason to want to go here.

Fantastic experience: I became a member of this club today. Nick Steponovich took me through the process. He was patient, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional but that isn't what impressed me the most. It is the quality of our interaction that has stayed with me and is emblematic of what an exceptional salesman actually does. He listens carefully and intuitively to identify what the clients needs first and then delivers the solution never forgetting that this is a human to human interaction. You cannot train people to have this skill. I left feeling that I wasn't just joining a health club but I had found my fitness family. Genesis , the organization, is lucky to have him. Give him a raise. I hope the organizational system is as good as their representative was today.

Fantastic experience: So originally I was going to the Y up in olathe ks, but I was on mass street and a kind gentle men offered me a free week at this location and I gladly accepted. When I called to confirm the free week the lady on the phone was super excited to hear and explained what I need to do (just show up with me, the paper I got, and my ID) so I did. When I got there the manager(super nice man) welcomed me and got me all set up with paper work for the week. He gave me a entire tour on machines, locker room, sauna etc... and was super helpful about it all. The equipment is all well managed and kept clean, the bathroom//locker room is super clean as well. The management is super nice and helpful wether it be towels for the sauna, shakes, or just being awesome to get advice/ talk to. and my biggest kicker for why I like this place so much is I'm about to leave in a month for military, and I explained I didn't wanna start a new plan so the people of genesis worked with me and helped me out in the sense of being able to workout somewhere I enjoy. Which is something i couldn't be more greatful for. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: The Tennis program and community here is absolutely wonderful and we are so lucky to have this in Lawrence! Whether you’re a beginner and just learning to play, to someone who’s been playing for years, there is something for everyone, kids and adults. The drills are fun and challenging, and the coaching staff is excellent. Highly recommend lessons with any of the coaches (Whitney is my fave!).

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Genesis South for tennis for more than a year now! The adult programming is great because there are options to hit around, cardio classes to really get a workout in, and drills to refine your game with a pro. And the weekly variety means there's always something that can fit into my schedule. I especially enjoy all the fellow tennis players and friends I've met through the club and our team.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality This gym is amazing all the amenities are fAntastic. The gym has 2 floors and multiple of the same machines so there is always space to workout and the cardio area is big and many machines.
